The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Recently, Fu Yu has been rotating shifts at three restaurants, thriving in each place.

Since agreeing with Liu Yunong to learn Liu Family Cuisine at Shangshi Private Kitchen every evening, Fu Yu no longer needs to rotate night shifts daily.

Moreover, Zhao Meng and Yao Shi have been increasingly supportive of Fu Yu’s daily life and work because of this arrangement.

Zhao Meng is proud because his own apprentice is talented, bringing him glory, and he is eager to see Fu Yu progress even further.

Yao Shi, being a businessman, sees Fu Yu as a rising star in the culinary world, shining brilliantly, and holds him in high regard.

Not only does he turn a blind eye to Fu Yu skipping shifts to learn cooking, covering for him, but he has also started planning Fu Yu’s career development more clearly.

Thus, with the unrelenting support of his two immediate superiors, Yao Shi and Zhao Meng, Fu Yu smoothly passed the chef’s entry-level (National Vocational Qualification Level 5) exam.

As a result, Fu Yu gained an invisible advantage over his colleagues with similar experience, as he now possesses a certification to work.

Moreover, after financial records at Qianlima accounted for this additional certification, Fu Yu’s monthly salary was increased by an extra hundred yuan.

This was entirely unexpected income.

A hundred yuan a month adds up to twelve hundred a year.

So, during his time off on Friday, Fu Yu went to the music restaurant and, through Zhang Zhen’s connections, asked a buyer to bring back two portions of pearl powder.

Fu Yu paid out of his pocket to buy pearl powder and prepared two pearl powder and egg white masks.

One portion was prepared for Zhao Meng to give to Dai Li in the evening.

The other was given to Wang Nuannuan as a small gift for recommending customized medicinal cuisine when she visited the store to eat medicinal dishes.

Wang Nuannuan didn’t expect to receive an additional thank-you gift.

Being able to afford medicinal cuisine means money isn’t an issue.

However, this small bottle of pearl powder and egg white mask fulfilled Wang Nuannuan’s vanity.

Look!

This is a special thank-you gift from Chef Fu!

It expresses Chef Fu’s gratitude.

It’s the thought that counts!

So, in that day’s routine WeChat Moments post of medicinal cuisine photos, there was an extra photo of the pearl powder mask.

Beside the high-end dark green porcelain bottle, there was a specially added bubble text comment.

[Thank you, Chef Fu, for the little gift. It’s a great surprise! I will definitely use it well! (Heart)]

Additionally, there was a special note in the comment section:

[Touched! Just helped introduce a friend for customized medicinal cuisine, and unexpectedly received a beauty mask made personally by Chef Fu!]

Once this WeChat Moments post was published, it quickly attracted many likes and comments in Wang Nuannuan’s circle of friends.

[Is Chef Fu that handsome chef? Envy! --- Friend 1]

[Is this the legendary pearl powder and egg white mask that’s known for its impressive effects? It looks so high-end! I want to get one! --- Friend 2]

...

[Who did you introduce for customized medicinal cuisine? Private chat! --- Liu Yici]

[What! You actually received a mask as a gift! Why didn’t I? I need to rally my girlfriends to go find Chef Fu for customized medicinal cuisine too!! --- Li Shu]

...

Completely unaware that this gifted beauty mask inadvertently served as a wave of promotional advertising.

Fu Yu was busy heading to the private room, personally meeting a poor female student, Zhang Xueyao.

This was the last meal of the third treatment course since Zhang Xueyao ordered medicinal cuisine.

Usually, treating skin acne cannot be cured in a short time.

Fu Yu customized a few sets of medicinal dishes for her based on her situation, all very successful, and now the skin’s recovery effect is also very good.

Zhang Xueyao’s skin was originally a bit rough, not very fair, with the most severe conditions on the forehead, near the sides of the nose, cheeks, chin dimple, and several spots on the back.

Now, after Fu Yu’s customized medicinal cuisine treatment, the acne situation on the young girl has greatly improved.

The endless blackheads and pimples are becoming fewer, and the once deeply ingrained acne scars are becoming shallower.

Because the conditioning from medicinal cuisine works from the inside out.

With improved physical condition, vitality enhanced, the skin naturally improves as well.

When Fu Yu entered the private room, he saw Zhang Xueyao cherishingly holding a bowl, drinking the brewed medicinal cuisine to the last drop.

At this time, the kitchen was busy, and Zhang Zhen had many things on hand and couldn’t accompany personally, so he entrusted Li Xintong to help arrange some care.

Hearing the noise, Zhang Xueyao quickly put down the bowl, stood up, and shyly greeted, ”Hello, Chef Fu!”

Zhang Xueyao had a pair of sparkling eyes, bright and clear, like stars.

At this moment, seeing Fu Yu, her face immediately bloomed into a bright smile, her eyes curved like crescent moons, as if that spirit was overflowing.

Her features were originally well-formed, previously covered by her acne.

Now after treatment, not only has the acne been cured, but her skin has started to become delicate, and her complexion has improved.

The skin becoming increasingly fair, except for the previously severely scared areas, has begun to reveal its originally beautiful foundation.

In this moment, upon seeing Fu Yu, this face, now showing the budding form of a beauty, was filled with joy in her bright eyes, a unique youthful joy, unmistakably overflowing.

At the age when love is just budding, Zhang Xueyao, looking at the young and handsome benefactor chef, her heart was filled with her own little secret.

Fu Yu smiled and nodded, walking to the dining table, taking a close look at Zhang Xueyao’s skin, nodding in satisfaction: ”Hmm, your skin is recovering very well! Today’s medicinal cuisine is the last meal of the third stage.”

Yesterday afternoon, Zhang Zhen specifically called Fu Yu, proposing to terminate the customized medicinal cuisine.

Zhang Xueyao is now very busy with her studies, and the school organized all the students to live on campus for closed management.

This way, Zhang Xueyao couldn’t make it to the restaurant during Fu Yu’s working hours to have the medicinal cuisine.

Fu Yu could understand, and Zhang Xueyao’s acne treatment was quite effective, with the hair follicle sebaceous duct keratosis improved, and the inflammation at the affected area eliminated, leaving only the stubborn acne scars and pigmentation issues yet to be fully cured.

However, these cannot be completely treated in a short time and require daily maintenance and care for auxiliary treatment.

Mentioning her skin treatment, Zhang Xueyao immediately felt a bit uneasy.

She checks her recovery progress in the mirror daily and carefully follows all of Fu Yu’s requirements when at home.

In terms of personal hygiene and diet, she became particularly careful.

Although due to family conditions, these seemingly simple things are very difficult for her to accomplish.

But luckily, she worked hard to overcome these challenges.

And indeed, the results were quite remarkable.
