The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

The cooking continued.

After greeting Liu Yunong, Fu Yu didn’t put down his work.

After stuffing, it needs to be fried in oil.

For making stuffed tofu, the crispy frying method is used, and Fu Yu is very skilled in this operation.

He gradually placed all the large plate of tofu pieces into the pot for frying.

When frying, Fu Yu’s operation was very special.

He always managed to flip them at just the right moment, without damaging or altering the original appearance of the tofu pieces.

The tofu pieces were fried to a golden color on both sides.

Fu Yu’s operation was very smooth and efficient.

Wang Yulong, watching from the side, was dumbfounded.

Such precise crispy frying operation.

To manage the control of the heat so precisely.

This not only shows Fu Yu’s diligence and meticulousness in cooking but also indirectly reflects his familiarity with frying skills and his control ability.

To reach this level is simply impossible without long-term study and practice experience!

Did Fu Yu practice his culinary skills diligently before working at Qianlima?

After all, most students trained in culinary schools have more theoretical knowledge than practical skills.

They have hands-on skills, but not much.

When they enter the restaurant’s kitchen, they still need to start from the bottom and learn gradually.

Wang Yulong couldn’t help but fall into doubt.

Liu Yunong was also watching intently from the side.

To be honest, Fu Yu gave her more and more surprises, and more and more hope.

At this moment, Liu Yunong began to ponder carefully.

Perhaps later she could further hone this young man with great culinary talent!

If there’s no opportunity, create one; if there’s no condition, make it.

Provide him with more opportunities for hands-on practice.

Fu Yu completed the last two stuffed tofu dishes, which were taken by the food runner.

Then he was assigned by Wang Yulong to assist Liu Zhangpeng with a few dishes to cook.

What was given to him were all dishes without much difficulty, simple and easy to pick up.

With guidance from Wang Yulong, Liu Yunong found she had nothing to intervene in.

Everything in the kitchen was as usual, orderly.

Liu Yunong had some other matters to attend to, so she greeted Wang Yulong and turned to the front hall.

At this moment, Zhang Conglin had just come down from the second floor.

Zhang Conglin now served as the restaurant’s front hall manager. He apprenticed for two years at the main store, and his work experience was relatively rich. After getting the news that the boss had come, he hurriedly finished his tasks and rushed to the first floor to look for someone in the kitchen.

The boss is here, great!

With the boss present, there are enough hands in the kitchen.

Wang Chef’s injury, he’d already heard about, and he was worried about the influx of customers today that the kitchen couldn’t cope with.

Now it’s all good.

Zhang Conglin suddenly breathed a sigh of relief, his tense nerves also eased a bit. Just as he got downstairs, he saw Liu Yunong coming from the kitchen.

Zhang Conglin was taken aback, no change of clothes?

Why?

This thought flashed through his mind.

Seeing Liu Yunong standing in the front hall, the worry in Zhang Conglin’s heart dissipated immediately.

With the boss here, why should he worry?

Thinking of this, Zhang Conglin hastened his steps to greet Liu Yunong, and proactively said hello: ”Boss.”

The service staff in the front hall were also in a fervent state.

With the boss in the store, everyone wished they could grow two more hands, trying to show their diligence in every way possible.

Especially since Liu Yunong herself was extremely capable.

People like her are easily respected wherever they go.

This Bei’an branch hasn’t been operating for long, except for some personnel brought over from the main store, the rest were directly recruited locally.

But Liu Yunong, with her ability, won over these new and old staff in the store, earning the impression of ”With the boss present, there’s no need to worry.”

Zhang Conglin had great trust in his young boss, but seeing Liu Yunong spending quite a while talking about store operations and not intending to change attire for cooking in the kitchen, he couldn’t help but ask: ”Boss, there are quite a lot of orders today, aren’t you going to change and man the kitchen?”

Liu Yunong smiled slightly: ”Oh, with Xiaofu here, and since I have something to do later and need to leave early, I won’t change.”

These words, depending on whose ears they fall into, could mean many different things, intriguing indeed.

Zhang Conglin pondered the meaning of this statement carefully.

Suddenly he understood why Liu Yunong unexpectedly accepted Fu Yu as a disciple and why she patiently taught him the Liu Family Cuisine.

Could it be that Fu Chef will work in the restaurant in the future?

That must be it!

Thinking of this, Zhang Conglin couldn’t help but say: ”Boss, so Fu Chef will officially handle orders in the future then.....”

Liu Yunong was taken aback: ”Fu Yu is a chef at Qianlima Restaurant, didn’t you know this?”

”However, his culinary skills are indeed impressive. Now, he can handle many of the dishes with orders in the store. Moreover, in terms of understanding and operational skills in cooking, he is on par with Chef Liu, and in some areas, he is even better than Chef Liu!”

Hearing this, Zhang Conglin gasped!

He had followed over from the main store and was very familiar with the situation of kitchen staff.

Liu Zhangpeng was also a very experienced chef at the main store.

This Fu Yu is really remarkable!

The ability in cooking shows he’s even above Liu Zhangpeng?

To receive such repeated praise from his own boss and to be able to accept orders alongside her now?

He had only been apprenticed not long ago, right?

How long has he been learning the Liu Family Cuisine specifically?

This ... is too exaggerated, right?

Zhang Conglin suddenly felt an unrealistic feeling.

...

Fu Yu then began cooperating with Liu Zhangpeng to take orders at the stove.

Wang Yulong assigned an assistant to Fu Yu to help, and he provided guidance from the side.

In this way, it became Fu Yu listening to instructions and doing the work.

But just by hearing others explain the culinary procedures once, he could directly replicate it without any alteration.

Seeing this, even the assistant helping him couldn’t help but nod slightly, indeed impressive.

Even casually slicing shredded meat, he could cut it as fine as hair, and whether it’s the control of heat or timing, it was as precise as a machine setting.

Impressive!

Soon, the accumulated order slips had dishes being cooked one after another, carried to the front hall by the food runners.

Fu Yu was preparing to take new orders to cook when suddenly Wang Yulong said: ”Xiaofu, take care of your health, you’ve worked hard, take a break and have a meal first.”

Fu Yu was about to politely say he wasn’t tired, but he suddenly froze!

Meanwhile, Liu Zhangpeng, busy and sweating, smiled and echoed: ”Yes, Xiaofu, you eat first, then take over for me later.”
