The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

At this moment, Yao Shi’s phone suddenly rang.

He glanced at the caller ID and apologized to the Jin family father and daughter, saying, ”I need to take this call. If there’s anything, you can chat with Chef Fu first, and I’ll be back shortly.”

After finishing his words, Yao Shi didn’t forget to instruct Fu Yu: ”Xiaofu, President Jin is an esteemed guest, take extra good care of them.”

Fu Yu nodded in agreement, and Yao Shi hurriedly left the VIP room.

Since they decided to customize the herbal cuisine here.

The Jin family father and daughter were very cooperative.

Jin Nuannuan proactively said, ”My face was scratched by Hei Mo, oh, Hei Mo is the little cat we keep at home. We were about to take it to be neutered, but something delayed us for two days, and Hei Mo was a bit restless during that time. I accidentally hurt it while trimming its nails, and it swiped at me.”

”At the time, it didn’t feel very painful, but it did bleed. I went to get a vaccine first and was about to have the scratch looked at when the housekeeper contacted me to say that Hei Mo had gone missing. I was in such a rush to find the cat that I couldn’t focus on anything else.”

”Anyway, everything happened at once. I didn’t think the scratch on my face was deep, so I didn’t pay much attention to it. I used Yunnan White Drug spray at the time and later applied Scar Removal Ling, but the effect was only average.”

Mentioning this matter, even Jin Nuannuan found it quite exasperating.

Compared to her calmness, Jin Yang was rather anxious.

”Chef Fu, we really need to ask for your help this time,” Jin Yang said with a worried expression. ”Xinxin just graduated from college this year and hasn’t even started thinking about marriage. If a scar is left on her face, it will definitely affect her chances of dating and finding a job in the future!”

Fu Yu turned his head to look at Jin Nuannuan.

Jin Nuannuan was indeed very beautiful, with very fair skin.

But it was precisely because her skin was so fair and delicate that the scar on her face was very noticeable.

If the scar cannot be cured, she would have to rely on makeup to cover it in the future.

However, with a scar of this degree, it wouldn’t be easy to make it completely unnoticeable.

”I heard from Director Wang that you’re very skilled at making herbal cuisine and are one of the top masters in this field, which is why I came so highly recommended. I know Director Wang regularly customizes herbal cuisine from you and sees significant effects, so feel free to create the herbal cuisine. Price is not a concern.”

As he spoke, Jin Yang suddenly took a bank card out of his pocket and handed it to Fu Yu.

”I know that making herbal cuisine in the restaurant means you only earn a share of the profits. However... since I’m asking for your help in customizing the herbal cuisine, using your special recipes, I surely cannot let you suffer any loss. There’s 200,000 in this card, consider it a token of my appreciation for you, and as for the herbal cuisine cost, I will follow the usual restaurant charges.”

Fu Yu hurried to decline, refusing to accept the card.

Jin Yang continued, ”You must accept this money. It’s a small token of my appreciation. You don’t know how much of a burden this scar on Xinxin’s face has become for me. Sigh! Please accept this for my peace of mind.”

”I don’t have any other demands, as long as you’re willing to help and customize the herbal cuisine properly.”

”We’re not familiar with each other yet, Chef Fu, and you don’t know me well. Once we interact more, you’ll realize I’m very straightforward, especially loyal to friends.”

As he spoke, he pulled out a business card from his pocket and handed it to Fu Yu.

”Fate brought us together today. Since we’ve met, it’s destiny. From now on, we’ll be friends!”

Fu Yu took the business card but insisted on returning the bank card.

He couldn’t accept this money in the restaurant, for several reasons.

Whether he needed money or not was one aspect.

Since he was customizing the herbal cuisine at the music restaurant, he had to follow the order process here.

Especially since Yao Shi was the one managing and receiving orders for the herbal cuisine on his behalf.

He was using someone else’s place, tools, ingredients, and the customers were even being connected and attended to by someone else.

Fu Yu certainly couldn’t do something as unscrupulous as pocketing money or burning bridges.

He simply couldn’t bring himself to do such things.

Besides, with a system at his side now, he wasn’t worried about ways to earn money; there would be plenty of good opportunities in the future.

For a mere 200,000, there was no need to damage the rapport between him and Yao Shi.

If Zhao Meng found out, he’d probably sever the hand that took the money.

Finding no other option, Jin Yang finally took the bank card back.

But his expression was somewhat awkward.

Fu Yu remained as composed as ever, as if the previous refusal of the cash gift had never happened, speaking openly and sincerely, ”President Jin, since you are Sister Wang’s friend, you are also my friend. We’re all friends, so no need for such politeness. Rest assured, I will certainly wholeheartedly help customize the herbal cuisine, and it’s something I ought to do.”

Jin Yang’s expression relaxed slightly, and he couldn’t help but look at this handsome young chef with even more respect.

Fu Yu then carefully asked Jin Nuannuan about the treatments she had undergone before.

Upon hearing, Fu Yu was utterly astounded.

When people become rich, they really can be extravagantly wasteful!

Previously, he heard from Zhao Meng about how Jin Nuannuan caused trouble for her attending doctor and disrupted their practice while trying to fix the scar on her face.

Back then, Fu Yu thought it was purely bullying with wealth and lack of ethics.

However, as Jin Yang complained angrily about spending over 1.2 million in total on that cosmetic treatment,

Fu Yu fell silent.

If he had 1.2 million, he’d have let them not just disrupt his practice but hit him a couple of times too.

What ointment could have been prescribed at that price?

Even if it were made of gold leaf, it wouldn’t fetch such a high price, right?

If they found a reliable medspa, they could probably even afford a face swap, couldn’t they?

Despite his inner grumbling, Fu Yu carefully sorted through what he knew about herbal dietary therapy for scar removal.

There were many related types of herbal cuisines.

Steaming, boiling, baking, and stewing, all were available.

The choice of ingredients and herbs was countless.

Out of professional habit, Fu Yu specifically asked about Jin Nuannuan’s preference in daily meals.

Then he adjusted and selected the herbal cuisine recipes according to Jin Nuannuan’s taste.

He meticulously compared the quantities needed for specific ingredients and herbs, as well as their market prices.

According to the herbal cuisine pricing standards, it seemed this time he could earn a very considerable commission.

After calculating roughly how much money he could take home, Fu Yu slightly furrowed his brow.

Is this cat a wealth-bringer?

One swipe, and it hits like the God of Wealth delivering money!
