Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

The luggage bag isn’t very heavy; she had been holding it in her hand the whole time while confronting Yan Huan in the room, and even forgot to put it down.

Qiu Xinyi hesitated about whether to return it!

But after thinking it over carefully, she decided not to return it.

She was well aware that this time she and Ji Chuan were completely finished. She had offended Ji Chuan’s parents too, and it would be even more impossible to get close to Ji Chuan in the future.

She might as well take the stuff and leave.

If they want their belongings back, they can come directly to her.

Qiu Xinyi made up her mind and started walking back, but she had only taken a few steps when she heard Yan Huan’s voice behind her: ”Qiu Xinyi, wait!”

Qiu Xinyi heard Yan Huan’s voice but didn’t want to pay attention to her. Not only did she not stop, but she also quickened her pace.

Yan Huan jogged to catch up, breathing in the cool night air after the rain, clearing her mind considerably.

Seeing Qiu Xinyi’s pace getting faster and faster, the anger she had just barely suppressed flared up again: ”Qiu Xinyi! Stop!”

She shouted while sprinting a few steps to intercept Qiu Xinyi halfway.

”What’s wrong with you? Why are you running? Are you planning not to return what you took from others?” Yan Huan saw the luggage in Qiu Xinyi’s hand and stepped forward to snatch it away.

With anger in her heart, her actions were a bit rough, almost causing Qiu Xinyi to stumble.

Qiu Xinyi stumbled a few steps before steadying herself, feeling a pain in her hand. She lowered her head to see her palm reddened by the strap of the luggage bag.

”Yan Huan! Can’t you stop being so rough!” Qiu Xinyi lashed out angrily, ”Ji Chuan must be blind to fall for you! What do you have besides this pretty face?”

Yan Huan was taken aback by the foul language from Qiu Xinyi and paused for two seconds before gritting her teeth: ”Try saying that again!”

”What do you have! Ji Chuan is blind! I’ve said it again, what can you do to me?” Qiu Xinyi raised her chin in contempt at Yan Huan, knowing that even cursing a hundred times couldn’t erase the hatred in her heart.

Her pride and dignity had been repeatedly crushed!

Her passionate feelings went unreciprocated! For days, she had suffered disdain and coldness, feeling both aggrieved and stifled!

It’s not just cursing; she even wanted to hit someone!

Yan Huan tossed the luggage bag onto the ground, her eyes fixed on Qiu Xinyi, slowly advancing towards her.

Step by step...

Anger swirling around her, her eyes carried a hint of cold, murderous intent, she seemed completely transformed.

Qiu Xinyi shivered slightly, unconsciously stepping back: ”What...what do you want to do?”

”Teach you a lesson!” Yan Huan squeezed out from between her teeth, suddenly raising her hand and swinging it harshly towards Qiu Xinyi’s face.

The fierce wind from her hand whooshed past Qiu Xinyi’s face as she tried to dodge, but she was a step too slow.

Smack~ A crisp sound echoed, she staggered, nearly falling, and a fiery pain immediately spread across her cheek!

She had actually been hit!

She had grown up without ever being hit!!

”Yan Huan! How dare you hit me!” Qiu Xinyi screamed, raising her arm filled with force to swing at Yan Huan’s face.

Yan Huan was prepared; as Qiu Xinyi’s hand swung over, she sidestepped and deftly grabbed her wrist, while simultaneously raising her other hand to smack Qiu Xinyi’s other cheek.
