Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1405: Chapter 1405: You Are Not the Mother of the Child

An Hao was using the bathroom when she suddenly heard faint footsteps outside, ”Mom, are you back?”

But no one answered her.

”Qin Jian? Is that you?” An Hao thought it could only be either Zhang Yun or Qin Jian—could it be that Qin Jian was messing with her?

”Don’t scare me! Speak up!” An Hao shouted again, but still, no one responded.

A bad feeling welled up inside her, and she hurriedly pulled up her pants and ran out to check.

There were originally two children side by side on the hospital bed, but now one was missing. An Hao’s heart thudded violently, and she felt as if she had fallen into an ice hole, her blood freezing in her veins.

At that moment, Zhang Yun came in, ”I’ve finished the paperwork.”

An Hao turned to look at Zhang Yun, her eyes blank for two seconds before tears suddenly surged forth, ”Mom, one of the children is missing!”

”What? What did you say? A child is missing!” Zhang Yun felt as if she had been struck by lightning, her head spinning, nearly passing out.

”Mom, watch this child! Call Qin Jian, I’m going to get the other one back!” An Hao said as she dashed out.

”Chase? How can you chase?” Zhang Yun yelled after her.

Without responding, An Hao was determined, even if it meant death, she had to get her child back. She was going to catch the thief who stole her child and make sure they spent their life in prison.

”My child is stolen! Someone has stolen my child! If anyone sees the thief, tell me...” An Hao cried and yelled.

”Child stolen?”

”Is this still a thing? With the one-child policy, everyone would rather give away their own child and have another. How can someone still steal a child?”

”The thief is so bold to steal from the military hospital.”

Zhang Juyun came out of the doctor’s office holding a signed form, and immediately thought of her daughter, Song Yueqin, upon hearing the news.

Only someone who can’t have children would steal someone else’s.

She hurried to the ward only to find that Song Yueqin was not there, and rushed downstairs in a panic.

Seeing An Hao frantically searching floor by floor, she immediately understood—it was her daughter taking revenge on An Hao!

But, if the revenge failed, the consequences were unimaginable to Zhang Juyun.

As An Hao shouted floor by floor, someone who heard her provided a clue, ”Just now, a woman hurried downstairs carrying a child toward the hospital entrance. You should hurry and check it out.”

If she had run out of the hospital, it would really take a lot of effort to find the child.

”Thank you! Thank you!” An Hao frantically ran again.

Lin Qiushu got out of the car holding a bouquet of flowers. She had incidentally heard from Gu Shuangshuang that An Hao had a baby.

She appreciated An Hao for saving her grandmother’s life and thought well of An Hao, deeming her a friend worth having.

Since she knew, she came to visit.

Who would have thought that just as she got out of the car, she ran right into a woman carrying a child who was rushing out. The child in her arms was crying loudly.

She seemed very anxious.

It’s the same for all mothers; they can’t stand to see their child cry! They get anxious as soon as their child starts crying.

She smiled, shaking her head, ready to leave, but inadvertently caught a glimpse of the woman’s action—she was fiercely stuffing her own handkerchief into the child’s mouth.

Attempting to stop the child’s crying in this manner!

Lin Qiushu’s expression changed, she seemed to remember something, threw the flowers in her hand, and rushed forward to snatch the child away.

”Give me my child!” Song Yueqin panicked and shouted at her.

”You are not the mother of this child!” Lin Qiushu said angrily.
