Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1075: Chapter 1075: Implementing Compulsory Measures

”That patient in bed three! He’s a real thorn in our side! His family just dumped him on us and doesn’t care. Liu just went to give him an IV and he hit her.”

”He cursed at me yesterday.”

”Dr. Ruan, you must go check on him! You’re the best in our department at handling tough cases like him! We’re all counting on you!” the nurses said to Ruan Fangfang.

It was rare for so many people to have expectations of her.

Ruan Fangfang thought that if she could manage to subdue this boy, wouldn’t she be able to establish her authority in the department?

So she readily agreed, ”Just wait! Watch how I deal with him.”

Ruan Fangfang went to the ward and, seeing the mess inside, was instantly furious.

She kicked aside the obstacles on the floor and strode directly to the boy’s bedside, where she saw An Hao sitting there, having a heart-to-heart with the boy.

”Get out! You phony! I don’t want to see you!” The boy spared no one’s feelings and bluntly told An Hao to get out.

An Hao frowned, just about to say a few words.

Then Ruan Fangfang said, ”You go! You’re not up to dealing with a troublemaker like this! Leave it to me!”

”What do you plan to do?” Seeing Ruan Fangfang’s confident demeanor, An Hao was actually a bit worried.

”What? Want to know? Then stay out of the way.”

Last time, a young person with heart disease got agitated, and Ruan Fangfang scolded them into reason. She was prepared to do the same this time.

”You, you little brat! You think you’re so tough, hurting our staff and disturbing other patients’ rest! Do you think this is your own backyard? This is a hospital! You need to cooperate with your treatment! If you make any more trouble, I’ll have to take drastic measures.

”Pah!” The boy responded to her with a single word after hearing her out.

”Hey! You little rascal! No wonder your own family doesn’t want you! With that attitude, if I were your relative, I wouldn’t want you either!” Ruan Fangfang retorted.

”Watch your attitude, Ruan Fangfang,” An Hao couldn’t stand it any longer. The boy in front of him was clearly resistant to both soft and hard approaches, and if she pushed too hard, something bad might happen.

”Need you teach me how to be a good person?” Ruan Fangfang glared back at An Hao and said to the boy, ”Now, you must get your IV! I’ll give you one more chance! If you cause any more trouble, you and I will have a serious problem!”

Saying this, she called two nurses over from the doorway.

”Stretch out your arm, I’ll give you the injection!” Ruan Fangfang said, holding the IV needle ready to administer it to the boy.

”Look, what’s that over there?” The boy lifted his chin in a direction.

Ruan Fangfang turned her head to look, and the boy, with a malicious smile, snatched the needle and jabbed it into Ruan Fangfang’s flesh.

”Ah!” Ruan Fangfang screamed like a stuck pig, and after she pulled out the needle, she furiously ordered the two nurses, ”Tie him up and give him the IV!”

”Is that... okay?” the nurse asked timidly.

”Why not? I’m just giving him an IV treatment, not slaughtering him!” Ruan Fangfang said angrily.

”No! The patient has a heart condition, not a mental disorder! You can’t force him to accept treatment like this.” An Hao firmly disagreed with Ruan Fangfang’s method.

”If I don’t use this method, he won’t consent to treatment! Do you want to watch him die?”

”You can persuade him slowly! If you don’t have a suitable method, you could call his attending doctor, but you absolutely can’t act rashly like this! This way you simply have no respect for his dignity.”
