Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 391: Chapter 391 I am a vigorous young man

An Hao changed Qin Jian’s bandages, but when she saw the bulging area, her face grew even redder, ”Qin Jian... you’re so bad. I only changed your dressing, and you... you got like this...”

Qin Jian also felt a bit embarrassed, yet compared to An Hao, he was a man and naturally had thicker skin, ”You’re a medical student and you don’t understand this? I’m a man! And a perfectly healthy, vigorous man at that! What you saw is a normal reaction!”

”I just started medical school!” An Hao, with her face flushed, placed the old bandage on the tray, ready to dispose of it.

A voice came from behind her, ”After we’re married, I’ll give you the chance to study the human body’s anatomy thoroughly!” Qin Jian said.

Carrying the bandage, An Hao left the ward and delivered the items to the nurses’ station.

When she returned to the ward, she saw Qin Jian struggling to sit up in bed.

An Hao, startled, rushed over and said, ”What are you doing? Be careful with your wound! Just tell me what you need to do, and I’ll help you!”

Qin Jian looked at her and softly uttered a few words, ”Use the bathroom!”

”Ah? But the bathroom is at the end of the hallway, and your wound hasn’t healed properly. Getting out of bed, might it not pull at the wound?” An Hao said, looking at him worriedly.

”It’s fine,” Qin Jian insisted as he sat up, wincing with each movement as it tugged at his wound.

Having just stood on the floor, the nurse from before came over, holding a thermometer, asking Qin Jian to check his temperature.

Seeing Qin Jian had gotten out of bed, she quickly inquired where he was heading.

After An Hao explained the situation, the nurse pointed to the urine bottle under the bed, ”This is for your personal use. You don’t need to go that far. Use the bathroom first, and then try taking your temperature.”

After the nurse left, only An Hao and Qin Jian remained in the ward.

An Hao, with her face still pink, handed the embarrassingly designed urine bottle to Qin Jian and walked towards the door, ”I’ll wait outside for you, just call me when you’re done.”

”Alright.”

Two minutes later, Qin Jian’s voice came from inside the room, and An Hao entered.

She noticed that Qin Jian’s hospital gown was neatly dressed, and he had pushed the urine bottle to a far corner under the bed.

An Hao burst into laughter, ”Aren’t you afraid of pulling your wound? You’ve hidden it so deep inside.”

After saying that, she bent down to retrieve the urine bottle.

”An Hao, just leave it there. You don’t need to pour it out!” Qin Jian said gruffly.

Unable to contain her laughter, An Hao responded, ”Company commander comrade, why are you blushing? We’re going to get married anyway, what’s there to be shy about?”

With that, she took the urine bottle and walked out.

As soon as she exited, she ran into Ning Yibin and his wife, as well as Captain Zhang and his wife. Just after teasing Qin Jian, An Hao’s face turned crimson.

Without even greeting them, she lowered her head and ran towards the bathroom.

While running, An Hao felt embarrassed. Seeing the meaningful look in the commander’s wife’s eyes, she felt like she was about to die of shame.

She certainly thought she was helping Qin Jian...

Oh my! How mortifying! Even jumping into the Yellow River couldn’t wash this away!

Why was her face red?

Really!

Why did she have to blush!

After emptying the urine pot, An Hao lingered outside, dawdling, too embarrassed to face all those people.

She had escaped, but now Qin Jian became the butt of everyone’s jokes.
