Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1639 - 1640: No Teeth, Biting Is Pointless

What appeared in front of me wasn’t any gold or silver treasures, but a brand new key. What is this?

”The house on the east side has been completed. We got the key yesterday, and it’s for our family. Your husband earned it for you, aren’t you happy?” Qi Taiguo sat down with a smile, looking at her expectantly, as if seeking approval.

Happy, how could I not be?

Cheng Su took the key happily and said, ”I thought we’d have to wait until the end of the month to get it, and it’s already in our hands?”

”It’s only a few days until the end of the month, and in about a month it’ll be New Year. Everyone’s thinking it would be nice to move into the new house for the New Year, so they handed it out so people can hurry to prepare furniture and beds.” Qi Taiguo said with a laugh, ”The whole place is done, the doors are installed, and the keys were given out. Everyone can prepare their own things and move in.”

Cheng Su nodded knowingly. With a new house, of course, everyone wants to move in for the New Year. Good house, good scenery, good year, right? So she asked, ”Did you go see it? Is the construction done well?”

”I haven’t seen it yet. I thought we’d wait for you and Xiao Qi to come back and we’ll go see it as a family.” Qi Taiguo said, holding his son’s little hand, ”It’s our first house, so of course, the whole family should go and see it. Just me going wouldn’t be any fun.”

Cheng Su was happy and suddenly leaned over, giving him a loud smooch on the cheek, which startled Qi Xiaoqi who was busy nursing, causing him to stop.

He stared fixedly at his parents.

”What are you looking at, you little rascal? Eat your food! Not suitable for children.” Cheng Su pretended to scold him fiercely.

Oh, you know it’s not suitable for children, huh? Then you should watch the time and place!

Qi Xiaoqi turned his head to continue feeding, seemingly as revenge, sucking hard, and Cheng Su yelped in pain, and his body shrank back.

”He bit me.” Cheng Su complained to Qi Taiguo.

Qi Taiguo said, ”It’s okay, he doesn’t have teeth, it won’t hurt much, biting is pointless!”

Cheng Su and Qi Xiaoqi both glared, Cheng Su out of annoyance, Qi Xiaoqi feeling dejected.

After glaring a few more times, Cheng Su’s attention returned to the house and she said, ”Is there electricity over there? Should we go take a look now?”

Qi Taiguo glanced outside, it was pitch dark, and he said, ”It’s dark now, it wouldn’t be convenient to go. Let’s go tomorrow. In daylight, the lighting is better, and we can see everything clearly.”

Cheng Su thought about it and agreed. It makes sense, so there was no need to insist. Tomorrow then, since the house is already ours anyway.

Qi Taiguo watched his son’s little red mouth on the area that should only belong to him and licked his lips, swallowing, and asked his wife, ”I got the house for you, how will you repay your husband?”

Cheng Su glanced over, ”How do you want me to repay you?”

Qi Taiguo chuckled mischievously a few times and said, ”What do you think?”

Cheng Su blushed and spat at him, ”Not being serious.”

She was both coy and teasing, but it only stirred Qi Taiguo’s heart more, and he shamelessly wrapped his hand around her waist, smiling as he said, ”If I were too serious, then you’d really have something to cry about!”

Cheng Su grumbled softly a couple of times, the couple flirting and playful, ignoring everything around them.

Qi Xiaoqi nursed with difficulty, feeling it lacking in flavor. Could these parents pay more attention to the situation? He’s a child, a child!

But alas, they indeed paid him no mind, continuing as if he weren’t there, unafraid of the ’outsiders’ present.

See, this is the agony of being a baby!
