Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1631 - 1632: Starting Another Business

The wedding of Cheng Yaozu and Ying Xiaoya passed lively, and the next day, they played along with the foreign trend and flew abroad for their honeymoon.

As for Cheng Su, considering that Old Master Cheng had previously given Qi Xiaoqi a shop, she wanted to take this chance to visit Guangcheng and see if the shop could be used for some business or rented out, otherwise it would just be sitting there, going to waste.

After feeding and comforting Qi Xiaoqi to sleep, Cheng Su entrusted her to her parents and seized the opportunity to sneak out to inspect the market where the shop was located.

The shop is in a bustling area, surrounded by various other shops selling a variety of goods, like a wholesale market.

Standing at the intersection, Cheng Su had a moment of daze. With cars coming and going and people cycling back and forth, she felt as if she had returned to her past life, when she followed Luh Wei here, for nothing but food, to select the finest ingredients.

Luh Wei was a gourmet star and also extremely picky and particular. When it came to dishes he prepared, he paid great attention to selecting ingredients, especially favoring dry goods, and often came to this dry goods street to hunt for good materials.

That’s right. Now this Dongde Street has all kinds of businesses, but in many years, it will be famously known as a dry goods street, specialized in selling seafood, wholesale and retail, with a large wholesale market right behind it.

And the shop that Old Master Cheng gifted is at the street front, right at the intersection, very convenient with a large flow of people, and most importantly, it will be included in the future seafood dry goods wholesale market.

If a seafood shop opens on the street, how can business not be good?

Cheng Su’s mind sparked, and she walked around the street. After one round, she was excited beyond words.

Right now, on this street, no one is doing seafood business, not even one shop.

So what if she took this opportunity?

Currently, there are people doing dry goods seafood, but the more famous ones are from renowned restaurants bringing out shops with the same name.

She didn’t aim to create an independent brand, but if she started now, after developing for twenty or thirty years, it could already be considered a long-established brand, right?

Dry goods seafood will gradually appear more frequently on people’s tables with social and economic development, more as gifts, especially during holidays, which would be a prime time for the seafood shop to make money.

Even in normal times, when life gets better and people have money, everyone wants to maintain and nourish their health, so where else to go but the seafood shop to select items?

That’s all worth considering, but the key is that in the future, as this place develops into a famous seafood dry goods street, be it local or out-of-town merchants, who wouldn’t come here for wholesale? Business would only get better, not worse.

Old Master Cheng is generous. The shop gifted to Qi Xiaoqi is about forty square meters, square and proper, and looking at the location advantage, it’s clearly a prosperous shop. Renting it out would definitely fetch a high price.

But how could renting it out be better than running it yourself?

Cheng Su loves money and does so openly. Once she had an idea, she certainly wouldn’t miss it.

So she walked around the area again, took a pen, drew a simple map, marked some spots, and took notes. She also didn’t forget to chat with some elderly people to gather useful information and noted it down.

It wasn’t until dusk approached that she locked the shop door and returned home, already having made up her mind.

As soon as she entered, she said to everyone, ”The shop for Xiaoqi, I want to start a business there, selling seafood dry goods.”
