I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 136 - 136 135 Evening Party136: Chapter 135: Evening Party 136: Chapter 135: Evening Party “Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing!” Lillian shouted, “No, Tina, we can’t give up!”

Tina opened her arms, “Want a hug?”

“Are you rebelling?

It’s too soon for you to hug a senior!” Lillian crouched down a bit, wrapped her hands around Tina just below her hips, and lifted her up.

“Senior, I don’t want to,” Shela said, pursing her lips to Windsor.

“Really?

You don’t want a friendly hug?” Windsor looked at her with pitiful eyes.

Conflict filled Shela’s eyes, but in the end, she couldn’t bear to see her senior looking so pitiful and was afraid of making her cry, “Alright then.”

Lillian, getting addicted to hugging, ran over to hug the others, as if the higher she hugged them, the more awesome she felt.

In the end, the hug session turned into a strange and peculiar activity.

There were those with shy faces and those with stiff bodies; those with loud, proud expressions and those pleased in a low-key way; those indulgently resigned and those secretly excited.

Although it seemed a bit childish, everyone quickly closed the distance and became acquainted.

“This is our dormitory, you guys can choose your own rooms now,” Lillian said as she pushed open the dormitory door and gestured invitingly with her hand.

“Why don’t we each take them to see the rooms?

Windsor has prepared some bottles and jars to explain to them how to use,” Mu Ying suggested.

The other two had received some family education before school, but Tana, somewhat lacking in common sense, might encounter some trouble.

“Sure,” Windsor agreed, “Shela, which one do you pick?”

The three new students also chose rooms next to each other, near Mu Ying and the others.

Mu Ying led Tana inside, carefully introducing the things in the room to her, one by one.

“This blanket on the bed was just aired out today, you’ll definitely sleep comfortably in it tonight.

This is the desk, and this room is the study; you can decide its use later on.

I usually use it for making Magic Potions.

This is the washroom, the faucet is here, and this flush toilet is quite handy.

The water pressure is sufficient, just press here, and water will come out to flush away the waste.

The shower is over here, left for cold water, right for hot water.

If you want to take a bath, just take down the showerhead and place it in the bathtub.

These are the items Windsor has prepared for you.

This is a bath oil soap for showering, this is for washing hair...”

To protect Tana’s pride, Mu Ying explained everything, whether she knew about them or not.

Although Tana might be too unfocused to notice these things, Mu Ying still wanted to help her get accustomed to this place as quickly as possible.

Tana just nodded the entire time, touching here, looking there, with sparkling eyes.

“Alright, play around in your room for a bit.

Over there is a balcony; you can go and check out the night view.

I have to go and get busy,” Mu Ying said encouragingly with a smile.

Hoping they might also get the chance to chat with their peers on the balcony and foster some camaraderie.

Returning to the lounge, Lillian and Windsor had already come out.

“What do you think of the juniors?” Mu Ying asked while using Cooking Magic to get the kitchen buzzing with activity.

Lillian declared definitively, “Tina is definitely a violent girl with great strength!” She could lift her entirely.

Windsor stroked her chin thoughtfully, “Shela is a little ice mountain with a cold exterior but warm inside!”

“So, Tana is the big, clumsy, and confused one?” Mu Ying found her own comment amusing.

With such interesting juniors around, this year promised to be exciting.

Tonight, Mu Ying prepared all her specialty dishes, a wide variety but in small portions so as not to be wasteful yet still satisfying everyone’s craving.

Windsor opened the liquor cabinet and carefully took out a bottle of wine, the same kind they were treated to by the seniors last year.

“I kind of miss Senior Reni,” Windsor said as she caressed the bottle.

These drinks had been specially stored by Reni for them before she graduated, “But now I am a senior to others as well, and I will take good care of the juniors just like Senior Reni did!”

Mu Ying smiled reassuringly; it appeared that Windsor had completely moved on.

The little witches really did come out of one room.

Mu Ying and Lillian shared a tacit smile, as if seeing themselves a year ago.

“Welcome to the Witch Magic Academy family!

Now it’s time for a relaxing evening party.”

“Can you all handle a drink?” Windsor carefully asked the juniors about their alcohol tolerance before pouring the wine.

Mu Ying silently picked up her juice, feeling very aggrieved; her current body’s tolerance for alcohol was terribly weak.

Clearly, there weren’t many who had an exaggerated tolerance like Mu Ying, and the juniors were no exception.

Shela and Tina had drunk before, and Tana, who had never tried, took a small sip without any sign of collapsing.

So, a cup was poured for each person.

“Why is Mu Ying’s drink different from ours?” Tana asked, puzzled.

Lillian, who had been waiting to spill the beans, immediately replied excitedly, “Because she’ll be knocked out with just one sip!

Hahaha!

Ouch—”

Mu Ying slapped her in annoyance, “Are you asking to go hungry?”

“I wouldn’t dare, wouldn’t dare,” Lillian quickly conceded, not wanting to offend the woman in charge of the kitchen; her stomach would protest.

“So delicious—” Tana scurried around the table filled with food like a little cannonball, her cheeks puffed up.

Shela stood elegantly in front of the hot pot, hesitantly looking at the pot of red soup—seeing how much the seniors seemed to enjoy it, should she give it a try?

“Come on, Shela, have some meat.

You’re too skinny,” Windsor scooped up a big spoonful of beef slices for her.

Tina, like Lillian, sampled a little bit of everything and then focused on devouring her favorites.

Unfortunately, they had similar tastes, which led to childish squabbles over food.

Mu Ying watched this scene with a warm heart.

It was the joy she had missed last year, now recaptured in another role.

They were all adorable.

Feeding them was one of life’s great pleasures.

Compared to the real world, life here was like a vacation.

Such days would end after just one year, and then there would be another parting.

The others were still in the Emerald World, where they might meet again, but once Mu Ying’s exploration of this world reached a certain level, she would leave again to go to a new Trial World.

Unlike the Square World, where she had no wish to stay after completing her business—each visit was just to collect Source Power, in and out quickly—the Emerald World felt much more vibrant and not easy to part with.

Fortunately, the authority to enter the Trial World remained in the hands of the Trialists, but by then, everyone would have graduated.

With witches’ tendency to venture alone, it would be difficult for her to gather these people again upon her return.

Mu Ying treasured this time deeply.

So, she watched the scene almost greedily, trying to forever etch it into her memory.

That night, the lights on the fourth floor of the tower stayed on for a very, very long time.
