I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 132 - 132 131 Blessing Ceremony132: Chapter 131 Blessing Ceremony 132: Chapter 131 Blessing Ceremony Red Beauty is a kind of peach schnapps that tastes sweeter than the alcohol flavor, and she wasn’t worried about collapsing after one sip like in the Emerald World.

After all, she had drunk alcohol in the real world before, and she could hold her liquor fairly well.

Sure enough, after one drink, she felt nothing.

But she couldn’t manage to smile; these players’ thought processes were so abnormal, actually thinking she was drinking to drown her sorrows.

Why did everyone’s opinion of her always go to the extremes, one moment they saw her as a ruthless violent witch, and another as a pitiful soul carrying burdens alone?

Never mind, she wouldn’t be going to Chaotic Stone Forest to practice her spells for a long time, so those unreliable rumors would probably die down after a while.

The less she heard, the less weary she’d feel.

If she couldn’t control others’ mouths, couldn’t she control her own ears?

So, after finishing her drink, she got up and left.

“Alas, she looks so unhappy.”

“Speaking of which, she’s only eighteen.

We all feel the pressure, let alone her.”

Mu Ying paused in her steps, slowly exhaled, smiled, and looked back towards the direction the voices came from before leaving the tavern.

In the tavern, someone clutched at their heart.

“Woo woo, she’s clearly in a bad mood, yet she still tries to smile for us, I’m so moved!”

Mu Ying’s ears twitched, she looked resignedly skyward, maybe if she jumped out now and said she was very comfortable every day, doing whatever she wanted with no stress, residents might still think she was just being tough.

The reality was indeed distressing, she just wanted to calm down in the Emerald World.

......

This side of the Emerald World was already the second half of the Spring month of the second year.

Last week’s Four Seasons Market at Chunjian Lake had already ended, and tonight was the elder sisters’ coming of age ceremony.

“You go sit over there, I’ll cook today, no magic, I’ll do it by hand,” Rosie patted Mu Ying’s head, pushing her towards the edge of the kitchen area.

“No, I’ll just stand here, I won’t be in the way,” Mu Ying stubbornly insisted, standing there watching Senior Sister Rosie cook.

Elsewhere, Lillian was up unusually early, standing like a door god outside Margreta’s room, daydreaming.

Windsor followed behind Senior Reni, who was mixing drinks, like a little tail.

The door to Margreta’s room opened, “Why are you standing here?

Step aside!”

With clear annoyance, Margreta pushed her silly junior aside.

“Senior~” Lillian called out plaintively.

Margreta rubbed the goosebumps on her arm, “Act normal, don’t make me think a demon has switched out your soul!”

“Oh,” Lillian agreed firmly, then didn’t change at all.

Margreta: “..., fine, whatever you want.”

Sitting on the sofa reading a book, Lucia looked up as a cool breeze passed, “Did you guys forget about me?”

Mu Ying: “...”

Lillian: “...”

Windsor: “...”

“Woo woo woo, Senior Lucia, I’ll miss you so much,” Mu Ying exaggeratedly flung herself over.

“Yeah, me too!” Lillian joined in, not to be outdone.

Windsor quietly pulled on Senior Lucia’s sleeve.

With clear annoyance, Lucia stood up and took out her magic wand.

A gust of wind blew, and the three of them were neatly seated on the sofa, with a lingering trace of wind around them.

Senior Lucia’s lecture time had started.

“After tonight, all school affairs will be handed over to you.

The principal never cares about anything other than teaching anyway because a witch must learn to be independent.

Next year, Mu Ying will take care of all matters related to food and the greenhouse.

Windsor, be more meticulous and take charge of the affairs inside the tower, and Lillian, remember to go hunting in the back mountain to replenish the meat supplies.

This year, you all have grown a lot, and I believe that you can all do well.

And soon, the new little witches will arrive, and you will also take on the responsibility of nurturing them.

Finally, stop looking so mournful.

Parting is a trifling matter for witches; after all, we must embark on our paths alone, and it’s not like we’ll never see each other again.

Moreover, haven’t we all exchanged Magic Marks?

Can’t you write letters?

Or are you saying that once we leave, you’ll forget about us?”

The three of them shook their heads quickly.

They wouldn’t dare think that.

Just the thought that they would no longer be disciplined by Lucia pressing them down on the couch with wind made the sorrow of parting feel much lighter!

As night fell, the Senior Sisters changed into their regular clothes, their luggage floating beside them as they came to the hall.

This was the second time Mu Ying and the others had entered here; the first time had been when they enrolled.

The table was laden with scrumptious food that looked very appetizing.

But glancing at Lady Melanie at the head of the table, the little witches, having experienced this once before, had no expectations; they had even secretly eaten before the dinner.

After Lady Melanie finished eating, everyone tacitly put down their cutlery one after another, indicating they were full as well.

Lady Melanie waved her Magic Wand, and the food on the table instantly vanished.

“Time is almost up, let’s go outside!”

She led the way out of the hall, all the way to the grass beside the lake.

There, unbeknownst when, a Hexagram had been arranged with candles.

Mu Ying and the others had learned in class that this was a Blessing Witch Array; the stronger the wish of the one lighting the candles, the better the effect of the blessing.

“Come on, this year, the Senior Sisters helped you adjust to school life, and now it’s your turn to send them blessings,” Lady Melanie’s wand tip also produced a spark of fire.

Mu Ying and the others each stood in a corner, lifting their Magic Wands, and flames rose.

“Ladies, stand in the middle,” Lady Melanie told the Senior Sisters.

As soon as the Senior Sisters all stood inside the Hexagram, she began to chant.

“You are wise witches!

You are fearless witches!

You are noble witches!

You are free witches!

May your stars always shine bright!

May your future be a smooth path!

May you...”

This was the song of a witch’s blessing, and Mu Ying and the others couldn’t help but join in the singing.

With their movement, each candle lit up one by one.

When the last round of the blessing song was sung, the last candle on the Blessing Witch Array also lit up.

“Travel far beneath the light of blessing!

Witches!

Follow the guidance of your hearts, for your trial ground lies beyond the forest!”

In the light, the Senior Sisters rode their brooms and soared into the sky, adding four bright stars to the night.

Mu Ying and the others stood there watching for a long time.

They could no longer see the shadows of the Senior Sisters, and the candles had quickly burned out at the moment the Witch Array took shape, leaving only some melted wax blobs.

“Goodbye!” Mu Ying murmured as she looked at the night sky, “Who knows when the next meeting will be.

I hope your journey is smooth and safe.”

“They just left like that?” Lillian slumped her shoulders, “What the heck, not even a goodbye!”

“Boohoo, I really miss Senior Reni,” Windsor couldn’t help but start sobbing.

Mu Ying brought them both into her embrace with one arm each, “We all need to be strong from now on.

In no time, we’ll also become Senior Sisters.

Let’s not disappoint them!”
