Pioneer Lord: Starting From Daily Intelligence

Chapter 999: Chapter 139: High-spirited Advance, Crushing the Enemy Army (Part 4)

But with today’s battle, all of this has vanished into thin air.

Victory is the greatest inspiration!

Every Knight looked at Su Li with fervor. There is no doubt that after capturing Rapids Castle, Hesse Territory’s army would continue to advance towards Blue Mirror Territory with unstoppable momentum. In this year’s Empire review, Hesse Territory will surely become a qualified Baron. By then, those meritorious soldiers will have the chance to be conferred as Kingdom Knights for their dragon-following merits.

With the current size and population of Hesse Territory, even conferring 10 or even 20 Kingdom Knights in one go would be more than sufficient! This is precisely the ultimate goal for which the Knights followed Su Li to this land, overcoming obstacles and fighting bloody battles.

All the bloodshed and sacrifice will be compensated with victory!

And Hesse Territory’s gains from this great victory are far beyond this.

After dispatching troops to completely take control of the entire Rapids Castle, Oerstein excitedly sought out Su Li and reported: ”Lord, the gains from this battle are simply astounding. We’ve broken through Blue Mirror Territory in one fell swoop, acquiring treasure stores and an enormous amount of supplies!”

”In the fortress and its rear grain warehouses alone, we have captured more than 10 million catties of grain!”

More than 10 million catties of grain?

Su Li’s eyes also flashed with excitement. Blue Mirror Territory truly lives up to its reputation as a fertile and prosperous land.

This is over 5,000 tons of grain, enough to support the Hesse Territory’s army for more than two months of warfare.

It is said that capturing enemy provisions is worth twenty times our own.

Transporting military grain is an incredibly troublesome matter, ”Authors of tens of thousands, carrying grain over a thousand miles, achieving a rate of ten some catties per stone.” That is, over a thousand miles of grain transportation, the damage rate reaches 90%!

Su Li can rely on the Brionne River for grain transportation, and while the loss won’t be as great, organizing large-scale mobilizations for grain transport will undoubtedly delay the territory’s production and development.

He is not distressed about the grain; as a Border Grain Storehouse and a pearl of the frontier, Hesse Territory has an abundance of grain. However, he is very concerned about the impact of war on the territory. At that time, not only will production and development be greatly constrained, but many lives will be lost during grain transport, affecting the territory’s development speed.

Therefore, the capture of this grain can greatly alleviate the territory’s pressure. For a long time in the upcoming battles, Su Li need not worry about logistics and grain route planning.

Blue Mirror Territory clearly did not anticipate Rapids Castle’s fall so quickly. Like Hesse Territory, they were prepared for a long-term war. That’s why they stockpiled so much grain in this crucial military town, all of which have now become Su Li’s spoils of war.

Su Li swung his right fist heavily and said excitedly, ”Military strategies say, before the troops move, the provisions must first be secured. With this large amount of grain, our logistics have no worries, which means the outcome of the war against Blue Mirror Territory is already determined!”

Oerstein nodded solemnly, saying, ”Our current military strength holds an absolute advantage. As long as the provisions are secure, fighting solidly, Blue Mirror Territory will no longer be able to stir any waves.”

”Next, we can advance on divided paths, with several Divine Chosen each leading a troop to various places, then converge under Blue Mirror Territory.”

From this strategy, Su Li could feel Marshal Orstein’s strong confidence; advancing on divided paths to eliminate all external reinforcements of Blue Mirror Territory.

By then, when the army encircles Blue Mirror Lake, Baron Grant will be beyond help!

Su Li asked with a smile, ”My Marshal, in this battle, how many enemy troops have we defeated to give you such great confidence?”
