Chapter 1585: Arriving Just In Time

Gustav stood still for a moment, gazing out into the endless expanse of the Siterus Void. His eyes reflected the distant stars and shattered planets floating in the desolation.

He felt the whispers of the vast universe around him, the echoes of forgotten worlds and the weight of everything that had come before.

A faint smile touched his lips as he stretched forth his hand, fingers flexing, feeling the surge of power running through him like a current of cosmic energy.

”Now itʼs time to go home,” he murmured softly.

At his command, Cohilia, shimmered into existence beside him. Its infinite layers folded and unfolded in a mesmerizing pattern. Itʼs colors shifted like the aurora across a night sky.

From within its depths, a fragment of the Warp Demolator, still pulsing with energy, was squeezed out. The fragment hung in the air before Gustav like a dark cloud, swirling with ash and the remnants of the destructive entity that had once threatened to consume him.

Without hesitation, Gustav stepped forward and entered the fragment. The moment he did, he felt the energy of the Demolator bend to his will.

It was a strange sensation—where before, the Demolator had been a force of chaos and destruction, now it was like a tool in his hands, completely under his control.

The fragment enveloped him, and Gustavʼs form shimmered as he merged with the energy. His mind expanded as he tapped into the power of the Warp Demolator, and then, with a thought, he began his journey back to his own timeline.

The journey that had once felt like an eternity now seemed almost effortless. The Warp Demolator which once had an oppressive, soul-draining space that tore at him physically, spiritually, and mentally, now held no sway over him.

The crushing weight, its endless expanse, the warped gravitational fields—it all felt like nothing as Gustav moved through it with ease.

”This power...” Gustav mused to himself, feeling the lightness of his steps. ”Itʼs almost as if the very fabric of the void bends around me now.”

His thoughts flickered back to his previous journey through the Warp Demolator the relentless pressure that had almost broken him. The Demolator had tried to tear him apart. But now, with the fragment of the Demolator under his control, he was immune to all of it.

The same journey that had taken him days—weeks, even—now passed in mere moments. Every bit of matter zipped by as if they were nothing more than distant pinpricks of light.

Gustavʼs eyes focused ahead as the boundaries of the Siterus Void began to fade, and the familiarity of his original timeline started to bleed into view.

The universe around him shifted while the colors of distant galaxies swirled back into place as if the pieces of a shattered mirror were reforming themselves.

Meanwhile, on the world where Endric, Ria, and Wilendor were still battling for their lives, the situation had grown dire.

The beings that had once been separate entities—those strange, barely clothed spiritual creatures—had now merged into a single, monstrous form.

The creature was a massive towering being with translucent skin that seemed to shimmer and bend like liquid. Its body pulsed with raw, otherworldly energy, and its face, or what passed for one, was a featureless mask of glowing light.

Endric body was drenched in sweat as he hurled his telekinetic abilities at the creature with everything he had.

His eyes glowed with an intense silvery blue as he summoned power from deep within, lifting massive boulders from the planetʼs surface and throwing them with incredible force. The mountain sized rocks smashed into the creature with a deafening bang.

For a moment, it seemed like they had succeeded. Endric lowered his hands, his breathing heavy, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

But before he could even take a breath of relief, the creatureʼs body began to reform.

”Universal seperation,” Endric muttered while trying to split the being into two halves.

The force and strength of this attack wasnʼt to be taken lightly since no orbital body would be able to withstand it.

The being was no different. It split into two halves but only for a few moments...

The two halves that had been split by Endricʼs attack melded back together. The glowing seams of its body knitted themselves whole in a matter of seconds.

Endric muttered with frustration. ”It just keeps coming back.”

”Iʼve never seen anything like this!” Ria shouted over the roaring wind

He hurled rocks toward the creature and also transmuted the earth into molten lava.

The lava surged forward like a river of fire, engulfing the creatureʼs legs and pulling it down into the molten ground. But the creature merely lifted its arm and waved it through the air, dispersing the lava with a simple gesture. The fire sizzled out as if it had never existed.

Ria cursed under his breath in disbelief. ”Not even this is enough!”

Wilendor, the massive Tark warrior, stood at the ready, his lightning axe crackling with electricity. He lifted his axe to the skies, calling forth a storm of lightning from the distant stars. The sky above them darkened as bolts of pure energy streaked down toward the creature, striking it with deafening booms.

The bolts of lightning hit the creature directly, splitting the air with an explosive crack. For a moment, the creatureʼs form flickered.

”Did that do it?” Wilendor growled, his breath ragged, his muscles trembling from the exertion.

But once again, the creature reformed. Its body shimmered and pulsed as the lightning dissipated, and it stood tall once more, seemingly unaffected by the attack.

”This thing… itʼs impossible,” Wilendor muttered, his voice filled with frustration.

They couldnʼt leave because it was blocking their path and they couldnʼt take it down either. How were they expected to bring Gustav here?

Endric clenched his fists while thinking of a solution. He glanced at Ria, who was standing beside him, panting from the exertion and at Wilendor, who was gripping his axe with white knuckles.

They had thrown everything they had at this thing—meteors, lava, lightning—and none of it had worked.

”We canʼt beat it,” Endric said finally. ”It keeps reforming, no matter how much damage we do. Itʼs like the more we destroy it, the stronger it gets.”

Riaʼs eyes flicked toward him with a look of urgency. ”Then what do we do? Weʼre running out of options.”

Before Endric could answer, the creatureʼs body shimmered again, and with a sudden, violent pulse of energy, it released a shockwave that rippled outward.

The wave slammed into Endric, Ria, and Wilendor, sending them all flying backward.

Endric hit the ground hard as his body skidded across the rocky surface.

When he finally looked up, he saw the creature towering over them.

The creature raised one massive hand which glowed with strange dark light. Endric could feel its power pressing down on him, immobilizing him.

He tried to move, but his body refused to respond. It was as if an invisible force was holding him in place.

”I… canʼt move,” Ria groaned from beside him in frustration.

He was also pinned to the ground and frozen in place.

Wilendor let out a roar of frustration as he struggled against the force, but even his immense strength was no match for the creatureʼs power. He, too, was pinned down, his muscles straining in vain.

The creature lowered its hand toward them, the dark light intensifying, and for a brief, terrifying moment, they thought it was over.

Endric could feel the crushing force growing stronger, pressing down on his chest, making it hard to breathe. He could see the creatureʼs hand descending toward him, ready to deliver the final blow.

But then, in an instant, everything changed.

A flash of light appeared in the sky above them, bright and blinding, cutting through the darkness like a beacon. The air around them crackled with energy as a figure appeared out of the light, descending toward the ground with unimaginable speed.

”Big brother…?” Endric whispered, his eyes widening as recognition dawned.

With a single motion, Gustav landed between the creature and his companions.

The ground trembled beneath his feet as his form radiated a powerful, cosmic glow.

The creature recoiled slightly, sensing the immense power that Gustav wielded. It hesitated for the briefest of moments, as if trying to assess the new threat.

”Get away from them,” Gustav voice was cold and commanding.

He didnʼt even need to utter another word before the creature got blasted backwards, sweeping across the air with intensity despite itʼs size.

Just by utterance, an attack had been materialized.

Without giving the creature a chance to react, Gustav extended his hand, summoning a wave of cosmic energy that surged forward with incredible force.

The energy slammed into the creature, sending while its body was in mid air, burrowing a large hole deep within it.

Endric felt the pressure on his body suddenly lift, and he gasped for breath, scrambling to his feet. ”Big brother… Youʼre here,” he muttered in relief.
