The Outworldly eyes could see all of creation from his stand point so he knew the affected areas were places he hadnʼt constructed the dimension webs yet.

He stretched forth his left hand and made an anticlockwise motion with his fingers.

A golden circular construct that looked like a clock appeared and began to whirl.

Almost immediately, the destroyed planets were restored like nothing happened.

The deities couldnʼt believe their eyes but the Outworldly was unyielding.

With a surge of power, he pushed back against the deitiesʼ attack, breaking through their combined might and sending them sprawling.

”No more,” the Outworldly said, his voice resonating with finality. ”This ends now.”

He raised his hand, and a beam of light shot out from his palm, striking the chalice that had been created during his birth.

The chalice which they had planned to use in regaining their blood, shattered into a million pieces as the power within it dissipated into the void.

The deities, weakened and exhausted, could only watch in shock and despair as the Outworldlyʼs power surged around them, binding them with celestial chains that prevented them from attacking again.

”You sought to reclaim your power,” the Outworldly said, his voice soft but filled with an unyielding authority. ”But that power is not yours anymore. You are bound by the laws of the cosmos, and those laws will be enforced.”

The deities, humbled and defeated, were left with no choice but to accept the Outworldlyʼs decree. Their power was still formidable, but they had been shown that they were no match for the being they had created.

The Outworldly looked upon the defeated deities with an expression of resolve. ”You were meant to protect the cosmos, not destroy it. Let this be the last time such you all take such an action. Next time, there will be severe consequences.”

With that, the Outworldly began to repair the damage caused by the battle. The stars that had been extinguished were reignited, the galaxies that had trembled were stabilized, and the dimension webs that protected the mortal planes were strengthened once more.

Gustav watched in disbelief as the construct continued to display visions of the Outworldly.

”How could I have forgotten something so monumental?” Gustav mumbled.

The more he watched, the more he regained clarity from those times. Almost like the playback was unlocking hidden memories within his mind.

After the fierce scuffle with the Outworldly, the deities had settled into a period of uneasy quiet.

Their once dominant presence over the cosmos had been reined in; they now lived in the shadow of the Outworldlyʼs decree.

Many centuries passed, and though the deities held occasional assemblies to discuss celestial matters, none dared to mention the Outworldly directly, fearing his wrath and the unpredictable consequences of his intervention.

The Outworldly, however, had chosen to walk a different path. Curious about the lives of mortals, he traveled from planet to planet in a mortal guise, inspecting, observing, and understanding the creations of the universe he had been tasked to protect.

As he walked among them, the mortals had no idea who he truly was—a cosmic guardian in disguise, moving quietly in their midst.

One such planet was Earth, a small, seemingly insignificant world at the edge of a young galaxy. The Outworldly found himself inexplicably drawn to this blue and green orb, filled with life, diversity, and contradictions.

He was fascinated by Earthʼs people—their resilience, creativity, and endless pursuit of knowledge and meaning.

With his timeless perspective, centuries felt like mere moments to him. The past, present, and future all coalesced within his consciousness.

He was both here and everywhere, seeing all possibilities at once. And yet, amidst all the countless threads of fate and time, there was something special about Earth that made him linger.

The Outworldly decided to stay for a while. He took on the guise of a young man with wavy brown hair, olive skin, and piercing blue eyes.

He gave himself a simple name—Elias. He became known as an enigmatic figure, always seemingly in the right place at the right time, moving effortlessly through different human societies.

During his time on Earth, he met many individuals who fascinated him. He became friends with Aria, an astrobiologist with a keen mind and a penchant for cracking dry jokes at the most inappropriate moments.

One day, while observing a bustling marketplace in the heart of a thriving city, Aria nudged him playfully. ”So, Elias,” she said with a grin, ”are you ever going to tell me where youʼre actually from? Because if you say ʼout of this worldʼ one more time, I might just throw you out of this world.”

Elias chuckled as his blue eyes twinkled with amusement. ”Oh, Iʼm definitely from out of this world, Aria. But I promise, if I told you the whole truth, youʼd either think Iʼm insane, or youʼd lose that lovely curiosity you have.”

Aria rolled her eyes, but her smile was genuine. ”Fine, keep your secrets, mystery man. But just know, Iʼm onto you.”

Elias had also grown close to Malik, an innovative engineer who was always tinkering with new technologies and had an insatiable thirst for learning.

”Elias, look at this!” Malik shouted one day from across their shared workshop, his face smeared with grease and eyes wide with excitement. ”I think Iʼve finally managed to create a new propulsion system for deep space exploration!”

Elias leaned over the contraption, his expression both interested and amused. ”Impressive work, Malik,” he said, tapping the side of the device. ”But perhaps if you adjusted the energy matrix here, youʼd avoid that nasty habit of, you know, exploding.”

Malik laughed hysterically. ”You always know exactly what to fix! Itʼs like youʼve done this a hundred times before.”

”Something like that,” Elias replied, smiling. ”Just trying to help.”

There was also Yara, a poet and philosopher who always saw the world through a lens of wonder and skepticism. She challenged Elias in ways he had not anticipated.

”Tell me, Elias,” Yara once asked, her voice soft but probing, ”what do you believe in? You watch people a lot, but you rarely speak your mind.”

Elias paused. ”I believe in possibilities, Yara. In every thought, every word, every action, thereʼs a spark that can ignite a universe.”

Yara laughed softly. ”You speak like a dreamer, Elias. But I think you see more than most of us ever could.”

Elias continued to spend time with his new friends, helping them, sharing knowledge, and learning from them as well. The days turned into years, and the years into centuries, but time was a fleeting concept for him.

In mortal guise, he experienced joy and sorrow, laughter and pain, and found a unique beauty in human life. He saw the offsprings of the humans he had once called friends and couldnʼt help but admit that it felt somewhat lonely to always lose companions.

While Elias was immersed in his time on Earth, far across the cosmos, the deities were gathering.

They had all received a peculiar invitation from a minor deity—an invitation to a secret meeting to discuss their future and, more importantly, what to do about the Outworldly.

At first, the deities were dismissive. Their pride was still bruised and their memories of defeat still fresh. But as they read further, they noticed something intriguing: the invitation mentioned a location where the Outworldlyʼs senses could not reach.

Nocturnis, always one to seize on potential opportunities, was the first to speak out. ”Perhaps this is worth getting involved in,” he murmured to the others. ”If there truly is a place where his senses cannot reach, then perhaps we might be able to plan properly without interference.”

Ignara flames simmered with barely contained rage as she nodded. ”I want to know who dared to call this meeting, and what they have to propose. No one should speak of him without consequence, but if they can protect us from his sight…”

The deities agreed to meet at the designated place. When the time came, they arrived one by one in a mysterious realm—a dimension cloaked in mist and silence, hidden deep within the folds of the universe.

The very atmosphere seemed to pulse with an unknown energy, unlike anything they had encountered.

As they waited, they murmured among themselves with suspicion and curiosity. ”Who is this minor deity who has called us here?” Oceana whispered, her voice like the soft rush of waves on a distant shore.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the mist—a familiar silhouette, yet one they hadnʼt expected to see.

As the mist parted, they all gasped in shock. Standing before them, wearing a calm smile and exuding a presence both humble and powerful, was the humanoid deity—the same deity who had once pleaded with the Overseer for peace. The same one who was directly responsible for the birth of the Outworldly.

”You!” Ignara spat, her flames flaring wildly. ”Why have you called us here?”

The humanoid deity raised a hand to calm the uproar. ”I see you are surprised,” he said, his voice gentle yet commanding. ”But hear me out.”

Nocturnisʼs eyes narrowed into slits. ”What trickery is this? You called us to discuss the Outworldly? Are you mad?”
