------------

The entire assembly fell into stunned silence. Even the Overseer, whose power had always been unmatched, regarded the Outworldly with a newfound respect and awe.

The deity who had attempted the attack was released, falling back into their place, humbled and cowed by the display of power.

The Outworldly continued. ”From this day forward, the cosmos will no longer be ruled by chaos and unchecked power. There will be order, there will be balance, and there will be protection for all beings, divine and mortal alike. This is the will of the Outworldly.”

The deities, still reeling from the encounter, could do nothing but bow their heads in reluctant acceptance.

The dark lord, his shadowy form diminished, spoke in a subdued tone. ”We will abide by your decrees, Outworldly.”

ʼBut know this—our power will not be silenced forever,ʼ Nocturnis said internally.

The Outworldly nodded, his expression one of understanding. ”Your power is not to be silenced, but to be guided. Use it wisely, and the cosmos will thrive. Abuse it, and there will be consequences.”

ʼEkkk how did he...?ʼ Nocturnis eyes widened in disbelief.

”Your thoughts are not hidden to me... I can hear everyone and I know what you all feel on the inside but I believe the deities will come to understand my decision in the near future,” Despite the hostility in their thoughts, the Outworldly wasnʼt concerned.

With that, the Outworldly turned and began to ascend, his form radiating with the light of a thousand stars. The deities watched him go in annoyance yet revered by his power.

As the scene changed, Gustav stood in stunned silence, unable to recall ever performing any of these actions as the Outworldly.

He couldnʼt remember anything at all.

Yet, the playback he had witnessed was clear as day—a vivid proof of the power and responsibility that had once been his... a legacy now buried deep within his forgotten past.

”What does this mean?” Gustav thought. ”Was I really this powerful? How could I have forgotten such a crucial part of my existence?”

”I also looked different... But itʼs starting to make sense. This had to have been related with why the Deities suddenly vanished... I had a hand in it,” Gustav mumbled.

The playback kept shifting to show the aftermaths...

The cosmos had been at peace for centuries, with the deities following the laws decreed by the Outworldly.

Mortals lived their lives without the interference of the divine, unaware of the celestial drama that had unfolded eons before.

The deities, though powerful, had been forced to retreat into the shadows, abiding by the new order established by the Outworldly. They seethed with resentment, their once unchallenged reign curtailed by the being they had unwittingly created.

In the hidden realms where the deities now resided, a plot began to take shape.

The deities, both lesser and greater, came together, their egos and power hungry minds united by a single goal: to rid themselves of the Outworldly and reclaim their freedom.

They devised a plan so intricate and dangerous that even the most ambitious among them hesitated. But their desire for dominance overrode their caution.

”We have been diminished long enough,” growled Nocturnis, the Lord of darknsss. ”The Outworldly has imposed laws that shackle our very nature. It is time we take back what is rightfully ours.”

Ignara, her fiery mane crackling with intensity, nodded in agreement. ”He is a creation of our own blood. If we can reclaim that essence, we can strip him of his power. He will be no more than a husk, and we will be free to reign as we please.”

Oceana, the Keeper of the Seas, spoke with a voice like the soothing tide, but her words were filled with determination. ”We must strike while he is occupied. The Outworldly has been weaving dimension webs across the universe to further separate us from the mortal planes. It is a task that requires immense focus. If we attack now, we can catch him off guard.”

The deities agreed, their plan set into motion.

Over a hundred of them, from the lesser deities who governed individual elements to the great powers who shaped entire realms, gathered their strength and prepared for implementation.

They knew that defeating the Outworldly would not be easy, but they believed their numbers and the element of surprise would be enough to tip the scales in their favor.

The scene shifted to the vastness of the cosmos, where the Outworldly floated in the endless expanse, his form glowing with celestial light.

Around him, the dimension webs he had created shimmered like threads of starlight, stretching across the universe to ensure that the realms of the deities and mortals would remain forever separate. The webs pulsed with energy, each one a barrier that would prevent the deities from interfering with mortal life.

As the Outworldly worked, his senses were heightened, attuned to the countless threads of existence that surrounded him. It was in this state of heightened awareness that he felt it—a disturbance in the fabric of reality, a gathering of immense power that could only mean one thing.

”Theyʼre coming,” the Outworldly thought, his eyes narrowing as he sensed the approaching deities. ”Planning to take me by surprise? I can sense the very thoughts of living creations long before they are fully formed and it is no different for you deities...”

Without hesitation, the Outworldly prepared himself for the inevitable confrontation. His form shimmered, the light around him intensifying as he drew upon the boundless power within him.

He had foreseen this moment in the countless futures he had glimpsed, and he knew that this battle was inevitable.

The deities appeared, their forms materializing from the darkness of space, their presence overwhelming as they surrounded the Outworldly.

Nocturnis was the first to strike, his shadowy tendrils lashing out like vipers, seeking to engulf the Outworldly in darkness.

”You have overstepped your bounds, Outworldly!” Nocturnis roared, his voice reverberating through the void. ”Your time is over!”

But the Outworldly was ready. With a sweep of his hand, he unleashed a burst of light so intense that it pierced through the shadows, dissipating Nocturnisʼs attack and sending the dark lord reeling.

”Your power is nothing compared to mine,” the Outworldly said, his voice calm yet filled with an authority that echoed through the cosmos. ”You should know that by now, Nocturnis.”

Ignara attacked next, her flames roaring with the fury of a thousand suns. The inferno she unleashed could have incinerated a thousand planets, but the Outworldly met it head-on.

He raised his hands, and a barrier of shimmering energy formed around him, absorbing the flames and converting them into pure energy.

”Your fire may burn brightly, Ignara,” the Outworldly said, his voice unwavering, ”but even the greatest flame can be extinguished by the light of truth.”

One by one, the deities attacked, their combined might shaking the very fabric of the reality.

Waves of elemental energy, bolts of raw power, and forces of creation and destruction surged towards the Outworldly, each one a cataclysmic event in its own right. But the Outworldly stood firm, his power unmatched as he countered each attack with ease.

He summoned celestial winds that swept away the attacks of the air deities, turned the tidal waves of Oceana into streams of gentle light, and absorbed the destructive force of the earth deitiesʼ quakes into the dimension webs, strengthening them further.

The cosmic battle raged on, a spectacle of divine power that would have annihilated any mortal world caught in its wake.

But even as he fought, the Outworldly made sure that the mortal planes remained untouched. His control over the dimension webs allowed him to channel the energy of the battle away from the vulnerable realms of mortals, protecting them from the fallout of the deitiesʼ wrath.

”You cannot win,” the Outworldly declared, his voice ringing out like a clarion call across the battlefield. ”I was created to maintain balance, to protect the cosmos from destruction. Your power is formidable, but it is divided. I am one with the essence of all things. You cannot defeat what you cannot comprehend.”

The deities, realizing that their individual attacks were futile, began to coordinate their efforts. They pooled their power, combining their elemental forces into a single, overwhelming assault aimed directly at the Outworldly.

”We will take back what is ours!” Ignara cried, her flames merging with Nocturnisʼs shadows and Oceanaʼs waters, creating a vortex of unimaginable power. ”Your time is over, Outworldly!”

But the Outworldly was prepared. As the combined attack surged towards him, he summoned the full extent of his celestial power. His form blazed with light, and he raised his hands, creating a barrier of pure, unadulterated energy that expanded outwards, meeting the deitiesʼ attack head-on.

The collision of forces was cataclysmic. The energy of the deitiesʼ attack clashed with the Outworldlyʼs barrier, creating a shockwave that rippled through the cosmos, distorting space and time itself.

Stars were extinguished, and galaxies trembled as the battle reached its zenith.

This power had been too great and affected lots of planet, causing them to blast to pieces just from the residual energy alone... Earth included.
