Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Listening to his companions’ words, the Thousand Year Old Demon said incredulously, ”Did I misunderstand you all?”

Xiao Bai pointed to the UFO behind him and said seriously, ”When our UFO landed on Planet F, I was the first to discover you were missing… So, I immediately reported this urgent matter to the captain…”

Captain Xiao Zhang also assured the Thousand Year Old Demon, ”When I received the report that you were missing, I immediately refueled the UFO with solid fuel and we started our return journey. I never expected that you would actually be here, waiting for 1,000 years…”

The alien, Xiao Liu, walked toward the Thousand Year Old Demon. ”Bond, you’ve waited far too long,” he said. ”Our UFO must have been surrounded by Dark Matter. That’s why we flew through the chaos for a thousand years without perceiving any of it…”

When Zhao Rong and Miss Lili, who were watching from the sidelines, heard that the Thousand Year Old Demon’s name was actually Bond, they were so shocked they fell to the ground.

Zhao Rong looked at Miss Lili and said, ”Whoa, I can’t believe the Thousand Year Old Demon’s name is so grand. He’s actually 007, James Bond?”

Miss Lili scrambled to her feet, clutching a handful of wildflowers. ”Him? James Bond? With that pathetic look of his? That’s hilarious.”

Just then, Captain Xiao Zhang invited the Thousand Year Old Demon into the UFO. ”Although we’re late, we still found you. It’s not too late to come back to Planet F with us. Hurry and get on the UFO, my friend Bond…”

Holding Wang Huazi’s hand, the Thousand Year Old Demon said to his alien companions, ”I can go back with you, but I must bring my beloved girlfriend.”

When the aliens saw their teammate wanted to bring a ghost from Earth back to Planet F with them, they looked at each other and shook their heads in refusal.

Xiao Bai immediately said, ”How could a mere Earthling be worthy of going to our Planet F?”

Xiao Wang sized up Wang Huazi, clicking his tongue. ”How could one of us highly intelligent aliens possibly be in a relationship with a low-intelligence Earthling? That’s a joke…”

Although Xiao Li empathized with the Thousand Year Old Demon’s ordeal, he also expressed his confusion when he heard the demon wanted to bring an Earthling back to Planet F. He said, ”If a low-intelligence species like Earthlings were to interbreed with us from Planet F, it would certainly lower the intelligence of our next generation.”

Hearing his teammates, the Thousand Year Old Demon said furiously, ”I waited 1,000 years for you. I waited, and you finally came. But this is the result I get? A pile of your nonsense? Your heartless rejection?”

Hearing his teammate’s anger, Captain Xiao Zhang explained, ”Bond, it’s not that we don’t support you. You know the laws on Planet F. If a native of our planet marries someone from another planet, both will be executed…”

Xiao Bai looked at the Thousand Year Old Demon with pity and said, ”If we agree to take you and this woman back to our planet, you’ll be arrested by the guard squad the moment our UFO lands. Then you’ll be imprisoned and finally executed…”

Hearing Xiao Bai’s words, the Thousand Year Old Demon hesitated.

Wang Huazi, standing beside him, tried to persuade him. ”You should go back to Planet F alone. Don’t let me be a burden that brings you harm…”

The Thousand Year Old Demon, unable to bear parting with Wang Huazi, said, ”If I have to return to Planet F alone, you might as well just kill me…”

Wang Huazi replied, ”Rather than accompany you back and break your planet’s laws, it’s better to just let go of this love…”

With that, Wang Huazi, her heart aching, pushed the Thousand Year Old Demon toward the UFO. Wiping her tears, she said, ”Go. If there is a next life, I hope you are reborn as an Earthling, and I’ll be reborn as an Earthling too. Then we can continue our love…”

Seeing their teammate Bond pushed onto the UFO by the Earth woman, his teammates—Xiao Liu, Xiao Zhang, Xiao Bai, Xiao Wang, and Xiao Li—crowded him aboard. They then waved down to Zhao Rong and Miss Lili. ”Thank you, Earthlings,” they called out. ”Even after we return to Planet F, we won’t forget the great help you gave us in allowing our teammate Bond to return with us. We thank you again…”

Just as the UFO was about to close its hatch, the Thousand Year Old Demon rushed out again. He cried out, unable to part, ”Wang Huazi, can you wait for me for another 1,000 years?”

When Zhao Rong and Miss Lili heard that loving someone meant waiting 1,000 years, they both felt overwhelmed.

Zhao Rong shook his head, feeling the immense difficulty of it. ”Forget 1,000 years,” he said. ”Even waiting ten years feels unbearable to me…”

Miss Lili was also pessimistic about the love between the Thousand Year Old Demon and Wang Huazi. ”Now that the Thousand Year Old Demon is leaving, who knows when he’ll be able to return to Earth? Maybe he’ll never come back, right?”

However, Wang Huazi nodded to the Thousand Year Old Demon standing at the UFO’s entrance. ”Since you could wait 1,000 years for me, then I can wait 1,000 years for you,” she said. ”Go without worry. I, Wang Huazi, will leave the ghost catcher’s tomb on Zhongnan Mountain and wait here, inside this Black Wind Cave, for your return.”

Hearing Wang Huazi’s words, the Thousand Year Old Demon wiped his tears. ”Huazi, wait for me,” he said, looking back with every step. ”When I get back to Planet F, I will find the Planet’s Grand Judge and make him abolish this inhumane law! Then, I will return to Earth in the UFO and carry you in a grand sedan chair from Earth to marry you on my Planet F!”

Hearing his words, Wang Huazi smiled and nodded. ”Go without worry. I’ll wait for you.”

At that moment, the UFO’s hatch slowly closed, and the Thousand Year Old Demon gradually disappeared from sight. Suddenly, with a powerful gust of air, the UFO shot into the air. After ascending into the sky, it began to accelerate rapidly. In an instant, before Miss Lili and Zhao Rong could even react, the glittering UFO vanished without a trace.

Zhao Rong watched the UFO disappear and exclaimed, ”Whoa, it’s exactly like on TV! So UFOs really are flying saucers. Its speed is even faster than light!”

Meanwhile, Miss Lili went to Wang Huazi, who was wiping her tears nearby. ”Huazi, I’m a woman, so I understand how you feel,” she said, embracing her. ”All a woman really wants in life is true love—a man who will cherish her, love her, and wait for her. He already promised that he would go back to Planet F, get the law changed, and then return for you. So please, wait patiently. Don’t be sad.”

Wang Huazi nodded. Managing a faint smile, she looked at Miss Lili and said, ”Rest assured. I will pull myself together and live happily here, waiting with joyful anticipation for the Thousand Year Old Demon to return to Earth on his UFO and take me to his home.”

Miss Lili helped Wang Huazi wipe her tears. ”I’ll give you a cell phone,” she said. ”If you ever feel down, just video call me on WeChat, and we can chat.” As she spoke, Miss Lili pulled a domestically made phone from her pocket and gave it to Huazi.

Zhao Rong also stepped forward to comfort her. ”A love like yours and the Thousand Year Old Demon’s is one of destiny, transcending race, species, planets, and even the universe. It will surely receive the heavens’ blessing. Huazi, I’ll be waiting to celebrate your wedding and the first month of your future baby’s life!”

Hearing Zhao Rong’s words, Wang Huazi, who had just been wiping her tears, laughed. ”I’m a ghost,” she said with a smile. ”It’s a miracle I can even exist. How could I possibly have a child?”

Zhao Rong recalled what the Thousand Year Old Demon had said. ”Didn’t he say that the advanced technology on Planet F can bring a ghost back to life, turning a soul into a physical body, into a real person? Since they have that technology, you don’t have to worry. You’ll surely transform from a ghost into a beautiful, real, and vibrant woman.”

Hearing Zhao Rong’s words, Wang Huazi laughed through her tears. She thanked him, saying, ”I hope your auspicious words all come true.”

Just then, Miss Lili, standing beside him, reminded Zhao Rong, ”Zhao Rong, I just realized we overlooked something very important.”

Zhao Rong hurriedly asked, ”What important thing?”

Miss Lili pointed to the Magic Ring on Zhao Rong’s hand. ”The assistant, Yu Lan, and Xuelian—who were driven mad by the magnetic field’s radiation—are still inside your Magic Ring!” she said. ”The one who creates a problem is the one who must solve it. Since the Thousand Year Old Demon set up that lethal magnetic field, he must have the antidote to help them recover. But we forgot to ask him for it! He’s already gone back to Planet F in his UFO. What are we going to do now?”

Hearing Miss Lili’s worries, Zhao Rong smacked his forehead. ”How could I be so careless?” he said regretfully. ”I was so engrossed in the love story between the Thousand Year Old Demon and Wang Huazi, and so focused on the massive UFO, that I completely forgot there are three people from our team waiting to die inside the Magic Ring!”

Miss Lili urged him, ”Zhao Rong, hurry and open the Magic Ring! Let the assistant, Yu Lan, and Xuelian out! Staying inside the Magic Ring for too long is very disorienting for them.”

At her words, Zhao Rong quickly opened the Magic Ring. He then carried the assistant, the lovely Xuelian, and the lovely Yu Lan out and laid them on the ground.
