Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Zhao Rong stared at Xue Li’s chest and swallowed hard, desperately trying to stop his nosebleed.

After kneeling to thank Zhao Rong, Xue Li suddenly noticed his eyes were fixed squarely on her chest. Instantly, she covered herself with her hands and looked at him. ”My savior, where are you looking…?”

Hearing her, Zhao Rong snapped back to reality. He awkwardly fumbled for an excuse, saying, ”No, miss, you’ve got it all wrong. I was just checking to see if you had any wounds on your chest.”

As he spoke, he licked his lips. Damn, this woman’s figure is unreal. So big, so round, so pale… It makes you want to use the… Dragon Beckoning Hand…

When the assistant beside him saw that Zhao Rong seemed to have designs on the beautiful woman, he immediately stepped forward, nudged him with his elbow, and whispered, ”Zhao Rong, going by seniority, it’s my turn to pursue this beauty. You’d better not get any ideas…”

Hearing that his assistant wanted to pursue her, Zhao Rong offered a well-intentioned reminder. ”Honestly, I wasn’t thinking about pursuing her. I just think her figure is incredible… If you want to go after her, I’ll fully support you… But it looks like she already has a boyfriend…”

With that, Zhao Rong gestured toward the team leader not far away.

The assistant glanced at the team leader, then gritted his teeth. ”So what if she’s spoken for? Even married women get divorced! The first woman I ever had feelings for was Yu Lan, but she didn’t like me. The second is this woman right here, Xue Li. So, there’s a voice inside me constantly telling me: chase her, conquer her, and make her mine…”

Zhao Rong gasped. He looked at his assistant and said, ”Man, you’re way too direct, aren’t you? Chasing a girl is a process. I wish you success…”

Finished speaking, Zhao Rong prepared to leave.

When the assistant saw that Zhao Rong was actually leaving Xue Li to him, he excitedly turned to her. ”Miss, are you free this afternoon? Can I take you to lunch?”

At that moment, the team leader, who had a secret crush on Xue Li, rushed over. He grabbed the assistant by the collar and snarled, ”What do you think you’re doing, kid? You dare try to steal my girl? Do you have any idea who I am?”

Although the assistant wasn’t a skilled fighter or a powerful cultivator, he was a cultivator nonetheless. Beating the team leader, who was just a ghost catcher, would be no problem at all.

The assistant ducked his head, easily dodging the team leader’s lunge. He then slipped behind him and locked his arm around his neck. Tightening his grip, he warned, ”Damn it, I don’t give a damn who you are. In this world, there isn’t a single woman I set my sights on that I can’t win, can’t conquer, and can’t take to bed…”

When Zhao Rong heard the words pouring out of his assistant’s mouth, he was taken aback. The assistant—always bullied, perpetually unlucky, always the underdog—has finally stood up for himself, finally done something impressive, finally acted like a man.

But just as Zhao Rong was preparing to leave with Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian, Xue Li suddenly grabbed his hand from behind. She took out her phone, looked at him, and said, ”Savior, my name is Xue Li. I’m the campus belle of the Ghost Hunting Academy. Can I… add you on WeChat?”

Hearing that the beautiful woman before him was the academy’s campus belle, Zhao Rong looked her up and down, then nodded. ”Of course. Forget WeChat; if you want my phone number, I can give you that too…”

With that, Zhao Rong gave his WeChat ID and phone number to the lovely Xue Li. Then, he looked at her and said, ”Remember, my name is Zhao Rong. ’Zhao’ like the famous general Zhao Zilong, and ’Rong’ from the saying ’tolerance makes one great’…”

After saving his contact information, Xue Li said excitedly, ”Savior—oh, no, Brother Zhao Rong, it’s truly my good fortune to meet you…”

Zhao Rong smiled back at her. ”The pleasure is all mine, Xue Li.”

As he spoke, he marveled inwardly. I’ve seen plenty of beautiful women, but I’ve never encountered one so round, so pale, so large, and so tempting that it makes you want to use the Dragon Beckoning Hand. This is a first.

At this moment, as Zhao Rong and Xue Li were chatting enthusiastically, their mutual affection growing by the second, the assistant and the team leader, who had been fighting over her, were left completely dumbfounded.

Watching Zhao Rong and Xue Li act all lovey-dovey, the assistant released his hold on the team leader’s neck. ”I really thought… it was finally my turn this time. And that the kind-hearted Brother Zhao Rong would let me pursue Xue Li… But now I see I was wrong. That guy would throw his friends under the bus for a pretty face… He never passes up an exceptionally beautiful woman, even when he already has three top-tier beauties with him…”

The team leader also let go of the assistant’s collar. He stared at Zhao Rong in disbelief and said to the assistant, ”I thought my rival in love was you. But I was wrong. It turns out my real rival is that kid, Zhao Rong…”

Finished speaking, the two jilted rivals stormed toward Zhao Rong.

Just as they were marching over, the three women behind Zhao Rong also grew unsettled.

Lili watched Zhao Rong and Xue Li laughing and admiring each other, and she fumed, ”That Xue Li is nothing but a flirty vixen! How dare she try to seduce my Brother Zhao Rong in front of everyone? Xue Li, as long as I, Lili, am here, your little scheme won’t succeed.”

Wang Yulan also rolled up her sleeves, watching them. ”There are plenty of women in this world who want to sleep with an outstanding man like Brother Zhao Rong. And you, Xue Li, think you can just swoop in and sleep with him after meeting him for the first time? It’s not that easy! As long as I, Wang Yulan, am here, your little trick will never work…”

Xuelian, however, simply pulled a device from her pocket—a virginity tester she had bought on Taobao. She walked toward Xue Li and announced, ”Brother Zhao Rong is still a virgin… Xue Li, I know a ’public bus’ like you loves to prey on virgins like Brother Zhao Rong. So, I’m going to use this little weapon in my hand, the virginity tester, to let Brother Zhao Rong know you’re just a ’worn-out shoe’ so he won’t fall for your act…”

With that, Xuelian marched menacingly toward Xue Li, tester in hand.

Just as Zhao Rong and Xue Li were lost in their conversation, seemingly on the verge of confessing their feelings for each other, Zhao Rong suddenly noticed the assistant and the team leader approaching, looking like they wanted to fight. He then glanced behind him and saw Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian all stalking toward him angrily.

Zhao Rong turned to Xue Li and gestured toward the approaching man. ”Xue Li, your boyfriend is coming over…”

Hearing this, Xue Li immediately denied it. ”The team leader is not my boyfriend,” she explained. ”He’s just an ordinary friend.”

Then, Xue Li pointed to the three women behind Zhao Rong. ”Savior, your three girlfriends are coming over…”

Zhao Rong laughed and clarified, ”They are my clients. I’m just their bodyguard, nothing more…”

Upon hearing this, Zhao Rong and Xue Li suddenly spoke in unison. ”Since you don’t have a boyfriend, and I don’t have a girlfriend, then why don’t we—”

As the words hung in the air, Zhao Rong thought to himself, That’s strange. Why am I saying something like this to her?

Xue Li looked back at him, thinking, Could this man who saved me be my destined one?

At that moment, the assistant rushed up to Zhao Rong. ”You clearly promised to let me pursue her! Why are you going after her yourself now?”

Zhao Rong swallowed. ”I’m not pursuing her. We were just having a very… compatible conversation, that’s all.”

The team leader strode forward, rudely grabbing Zhao Rong by the collar. ”Kid, you dare try to steal my girl? Don’t you know Xue Li is my woman?”

Before he could finish his sentence, Xue Li landed a resounding slap across his face. ”Who’s your girlfriend? Show some respect, will you? We’re just classmates on the same ghost-catching team. We aren’t even close friends, let alone confidantes. How dare you go around telling people I’m your girlfriend?”

Zhao Rong then addressed the team leader. ”Brother, since she said you’re not her boyfriend, please stop being so presumptuous. Also, could you please let go of my collar?”

The team leader refused to let go. ”Even if she hasn’t agreed to be my girlfriend, this woman is already mine!” he declared arrogantly. ”None of you will take her from me! Zhao Rong, I know you want to steal her, so today, I’m going to beat you to death!”

With a roar, he threw a punch straight at Zhao Rong’s face.

Facing the heavy blow, Zhao Rong easily dodged it. Then, looking at the team leader, he activated one of his Special Abilities: Instant Teleportation.

He vanished and reappeared with a rope and a towel. In a flash, he had the team leader hog-tied and gagged.

After dealing with him, Zhao Rong dusted off his hands and said to the lovely Xue Li, ”Since this guy isn’t your boyfriend and he’s always harassing you, I took the liberty of tying him up for you.”

Seeing the team leader completely trussed up, Xue Li said excitedly, ”It would be even better if you could find a candle. I’d love to drip some wax on him…”

Hearing this, the onlookers nearly fainted. No one had expected the beautiful Xue Li to have such intense tastes.

At that moment, while everyone was still processing their shock at Xue Li’s beauty, the three other women took the virginity tester and placed it on her ’critical spot’. Then, they stared at the LCD screen, eagerly awaiting the result…
