Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

49: Fire Attack on the Compass”Bang bang bang~” The ground in the courtyard was blown apart, soil flying over a meter high, startling everyone in the residential area, who all wondered whose house was being hit.

Seeing it was Si Nan’s house, everyone cheered and shouted. Many wanted to scavenge for leftovers, quickly putting on their thickest cotton-padded coats and running downstairs.

”Clack~” Just then, several bottles were thrown against the bulletproof glass. When they exploded, they didn’t even leave a mark.

Si Nan watched all this calmly. She pressed one of the buttons, and with a ”click-clack-click,” a ring of small holes opened on three of the courtyard walls, shooting out countless small arrows with a ”swoosh-swoosh-swoosh.”

”Aaaah! There are weapons installed inside these walls! Run!” In just three seconds, they were almost completely wiped out. The few survivors screamed and fled.

”Run? Did I agree to that?” Si Nan immediately poked her gun through a small hole to the outside, gripping the M-style weapon. ”Bang, the first one—Bang, the second—”

She took down two people with a single bullet, specifically targeting the lines of fleeing people. In less than ten seconds, she had dropped several groups until only the last person remained.

Those who wanted to scavenge stopped their plans and took off running, shouting as they fled, ”Ah, run! Si Nan has a machine gun!”

In the blink of an eye, they all vanished.

”Damn, that woman Si Nan has a gun even more powerful than mine.” Li Sanshui already had plenty of experience. He ordered the others to attack Si Nan with fire while he himself stayed at a distance, firing his gun at Si Nan’s courtyard walls.

He knew it was useless; Si Nan’s courtyard walls couldn’t be penetrated. But he had to put on a show, firing a few rounds. Seeing the fools starting the fire attack, he took the opportunity to hide further away, and seeing things weren’t looking good, he turned and ran.

But this time, he wasn’t so lucky.

After killing Lü Tao, Bai Zichuan, who had rushed over at full speed, cut off Li Sanshui and ended him with a single ”bang.”

Lying on the ground, Li Sanshui recognized the gun in Bai Zichuan’s hand and died with his eyes wide open. ”How can you have Brother Tao’s gun? You... killed him?”

Bai Zichuan stepped on Li Sanshui’s face, grinding it hard into the snow. ”That’s right, I killed Lü Tao. You can go join him now.”

How could a single shot quench his deep-seated hatred? It was because of this scum beneath his feet that his Child’s milk powder had been taken, leaving his six-month-old daughter and four-year-old son to starve for two days and nights.

He couldn’t even boil a little rice soup for his daughter; all the rice in the bin had been poured out by this scum. Even though he had knelt and begged this scum to leave just a handful of rice for his two children to survive, the man had refused.

In desperation, his wife had to cut her own finger for the baby to suck her blood. How could he let this scum die an easy death?

Bai Zichuan raised his Kitchen knife and cleanly chopped off Li Sanshui’s head. He bent down to pick it up and walked forward expressionlessly when a person suddenly stood before him. He quickly raised his gun.

”It’s me.” Si Nan glanced at Bai Zichuan. He was a very refined-looking man, around thirty years old, not looking at all like a ruthless person capable of killing.

His face was frostbitten, and his lips were cracked and peeling.

”You’re Si Nan?” Bai Zichuan couldn’t believe it either. The beautiful girl in front of him, wearing thin silver clothes, looked so fresh and refined. She was actually Si Nan? This completely contradicted the image of her leaping over the gate to kill people in the video.

”Your reward is over there.” Si Nan pointed toward the main gate behind her, where Instant Noodles and a large bag were placed. She then bent down to pick up the gun from Li Sanshui’s hand.

”Thank you. This one is for you.” Bai Zichuan was naturally reluctant to give the gun to Si Nan, but he said nothing and handed both Li Sanshui’s head and the gun to her.

”Hmm, throw it away.” Si Nan glanced at Li Sanshui’s head, her gaze falling on the gun in Bai Zichuan’s hand.

Bai Zichuan asked tentatively, ”Can I keep this one?”

Si Nan smiled and said, ”I didn’t say I wanted it. This one is yours, but the others are mine. I don’t want the unexploded homemade bombs; you can take them.”

Also, the things in Lü Tao’s house belong to you as well. It’s a pleasure doing business with you.”

Having said that, she walked straight toward the courtyard gate, keeping an eye on Bai Zichuan from the corner of her vision.

”Thank you. If it weren’t for you, my two children probably wouldn’t have made it to today. If there’s any other business, please consider me first. No matter what it is, I’ll go through hell for it.”

Bai Zichuan bowed toward Si Nan’s back with a very sincere tone.

Si Nan suddenly stopped and turned to look at him with narrowed eyes, her tone playful yet serious. ”Even if you might never return? Even if I’ll push you out as cannon fodder the moment we encounter danger? You’d still dare?”

Bai Zichuan froze for a second, then immediately nodded with joy: ”I dare! I trust you, as long as I can get food afterward.”

Si Nan raised her beautiful eyebrows and smiled. ”A pleasure doing business with you. Go move your things first, and wait for my message in an hour.”

”Thank you, thank you.” Bai Zichuan was immensely grateful. He immediately picked up the scattered homemade bombs on the ground, then grabbed the Instant Noodles and ran toward Lü Tao’s courtyard.

When he got home, his wife was ecstatic. There were two big bags of food. ”How did you get so much food all of a sudden? You—?”

She saw the blood on Bai Zichuan, but said nothing and hurriedly helped him take off his cotton-padded coat.

Bai Zichuan grabbed his wife’s hand. ”Don’t take it off. I have to go out again in a bit.”

His wife was unwilling. ”Let’s be frugal; these are enough to last us for two months. Don’t go take risks anymore, okay?”

She said this almost in tears.

Bai Zichuan held his wife’s hand. ”Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. We can only survive if we follow Si Nan. This food looks like a lot, but it’s far from enough because no one knows how long this situation will last.”

”We can still get food now, but what if we can’t get any later on?”

”But...?” His wife was still reluctant.

”Daddy, this is the milk powder they took from my little sister.” Just then, their son pulled out the stolen milk powder from the bag.

The woman immediately understood and said through her pain, ”Alright, but you must be careful when you go out. If anything happens to you, the children and I really won’t be able to survive.”

Bai Zichuan smiled and handed a black bag containing several homemade bombs to his wife. ”Hide this well, don’t let our son play with it. After I leave, lock the doors and windows. Don’t open for anyone. If someone dares to break in and rob us like before, use this to deal with them.”

I’ll be back soon. Don’t worry, with you and the two children, I definitely won’t die. Our whole family must live on.”

”Hubby, I understand. I’ll listen to you.” The woman quickly took the bag and put it away.

When she returned, she saw the message Si Nan had sent to Bai Zichuan: ”If you have a raincoat, wear it over your first layer of coat, then wear a layer of wet cotton-padded coat on the outside. Wrap your arms, wrists, and calves with adhesive tape to mask your scent as a living person.

Remember, use gestures the whole time and don’t say a single word. Otherwise, I’ll immediately push you to those Zombies. Understood?”

”Understood.” Bai Zichuan took the phone and replied swiftly, like an obedient elementary student.

The woman’s heart suddenly leaped into her throat.
