Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

56: Zombies are just an appetizer.”What? Zombie Beasts have appeared? And they’re inside the residential area!” Si Nan quickly opened the phone’s surveillance footage and immediately saw a tragic scene among the many screens.

Three large dogs were tearing at a woman. She was already dead and was being devoured by the three large dogs.

”Ugh, that’s too tragic.”

”What do we do? What do we do? There are Zombie Dogs in the residential area; we can’t even go downstairs anymore.”

”Hurry, where are the people from the Security Department? You have weapons; get out there and kill the dogs! If it’s too late, we’re finished!”

”Wuwuwu, there’s no way out for us. No food, no rescue, and now there are Zombie Dogs in the residential area. How are we supposed to survive?”

The Property Owner Group was filled with wails. The entire residential area was shocked. For a time, cries, fear, despair, and helplessness rose and fell one after another, but what use was any of that?

Since they had seen it, if they didn’t hurry to stop and kill the dogs, those three large dogs would surely enter a home and attack humans within five minutes. That would be true despair.

”Security Department?”

”Security Department?”

Almost all Property Owners were calling for the Security Department, but no one answered. After about three minutes, the Property Owners on the high floors suddenly shouted excitedly, ”Everyone look, the Security Department is moving out!”

Si Nan also looked over. Eight fully armed security guards carrying weapons came running in unison. When they reached the front of the woman still being gnawed on, they immediately split up to surround the three large dogs and worked together to kill them.

However, the large dogs that had turned into Zombie Beasts were much stronger than before. Their speed had decreased, but their strength had increased. One vicious pounce knocked a man down. Fortunately, the eight men coordinated well; after someone was tackled, the others went up together and smashed the dog’s head with batons.

In this way, the eight men fought the three dogs for ten minutes before finally killing them. Unfortunately, three people were bitten by the Zombie Dogs and turned into zombies in just five minutes.

”Ah, they...?”

”Kill them quickly, they can’t be saved.” The five men suppressed their feelings of brotherhood and had to kill their three companions before cleaning up the Zombie Dogs and the corpses.

The entire area finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Ma Bufan immediately created a group of four and @-ed Si Nan in the group, sending a crying emoji, ”Sister Nan, what will happen if our residential area also falls?”

Si Nan also pulled Bai Chuan in and replied: ”It’s only a matter of time.”

”What? No way? You mean even the heightened perimeter walls can’t block the zombies?” Ma Bufan was shocked.

”They can’t block the zombies that evolve later. Current zombies are only in the initial stage; they have no intelligence, stiff limbs, and slow movements.

But they will evolve soon. Their intelligence and movements will improve, and these two things will even become stronger than a human’s. Speed and strength, naturally, they have those after becoming zombies.”

”Ah, Sister, what you’re saying is so scary. I feel more and more that living is hard. But don’t worry, Sister, we will definitely practice martial arts hard.”

”Mm, only by being strong can you survive. Anyway, if you can’t beat the zombies, you die.”

”Moreover, during the Apocalypse, zombies are just the appetizer. There will definitely be other things later, such as fierce Zombie Plants and Zombie Beast Tides. They are animals and plants infected by the black blood of zombies. You saw those three dogs just now; they were Zombie Beasts.

There might also be Zombie Tides, earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, extreme cold, extreme heat, acid rain, toxic fog, insect swarms, and so on—because right now people only care about staying alive. Deserts, forests, and sea areas will not be managed for a long time. These are all things that could happen.”

”Wuwuwu, oh Heavens, Sister Nan, the more you talk, the more scared I get.”

”Scared already? Like I said, the Apocalypse has only just begun. What we face next is the beginning of the real difficulties. Soon, there will be no water or electricity. You’d better use everything that can hold water to store it. Once the power and water are cut off, that will be the beginning of death.”

”What? The Authorities can’t save us, and they can’t even maintain water and electricity?”

Bai Chuan: ”So what if they save us? Didn’t Safety Zone No. 2 fall the day before yesterday? Following Sister Nan means we can live!”

Si Nan’s mouth twitched on her end: ”You sure know how to flatter me. I don’t even have that much confidence in myself. No one knows what the later stages of the Apocalypse will be like. We’ll take it one step at a time.”

Bai Chuan: ”I believe in you!”

Ma Bufan also immediately expressed his stance: ”I also believe in Sister Nan.”

Guan Xiaoning and Guan Xiaowen: ”We all believe in Sister Nan.”

Si Nan: ”Stop flattering me. Practice your skills well. Remember, I don’t want useless people. If you want to follow me, you must have the ability to do so. There’s one more thing I must remind you: besides being wary of those zombies, you must also guard against the living.

You’ve seen it with your own eyes these past few days. From the first day the virus broke out, human civilization and morality have collapsed. However, this is only the beginning. Right now, people still have a little bit of stored food and a conscience.

Soon, when the edible food at home is exhausted, hunger will drive them to throw away their last bit of conscience and bottom line. Killing for food will become even more insane.

When the evil side is infinitely magnified, there are no rules for the living in this world. Finding a way to survive is the only rule!

All of us are targets of attack. As you’ve seen, I’ve already been attacked many times.”

The four of them looked at every word and every point Si Nan said and kept them firmly in mind. Si Nan was teaching them how to survive in the Apocalypse. They nodded fiercely, made up their minds, and replied in unison:

”Understood! We’ll remember. We know that the living are scarier. Only by becoming strong first can we protect ourselves and our families.”

”Keep it up.” Si Nan didn’t look at the group after that.

Bai Chuan @-ed Ma Bufan to ask about practicing martial arts. He was a smart man. Since Si Nan pulled him into the group, it meant these three teenagers were trustworthy people who, like him, would follow Si Nan to the death.

Ma Bufan immediately sent the basic skills practice recorded by Si Nan to the group. The four people from the two families, including Guan Xiaowen, began to practice on their own.

Si Nan went back to check other messages and actually found one from Xia Mi. She opened it: ”This is bad, Nan Nan. Gao Ming and the others have modified an armored vehicle and are going to find you for revenge. Their goal is to snatch your house and supplies.

Wuwuwu, the three of them aren’t human at all. They treat me like a maid and use me as—wuwuwu, they’ve tortured me beyond recognition and still won’t let me go. They insist on taking me with them.

Nan Nan, when they arrive, I beg you to save me, okay? I’d rather work like an ox or a horse for you than be treated like livestock by them. For the sake of me being good to you before and helping you introduce that part-time unloading job, please have some mercy and save me?”

Si Nan hadn’t expected Gao Ming’s brain to be so useful, thinking of modifying a vehicle to find her. It seemed Gao Ming had already found out through other channels that she had modified her house, which led him to think of modifying a vehicle.

Gao Ming didn’t just want to kill her for revenge; his biggest goal was to get the house and supplies to live comfortably in this Apocalypse.

Killing three birds with one stone!
