Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

82: Stuttering like that, are you sure it’s not her? She’ll beat you to death!Guan Xiaoning pointed at his own nose, compared his height to the opponent’s, and his legs trembled slightly.

But at the thought that if he failed, he and his sister wouldn’t be able to follow Sister Nan and would surely not survive later, a surge of ruthlessness coursed through his body, and his steps became firm.

He used the rolling pin to gesture at the opponent’s scrawny body and said, ”I hope your bones don’t shatter when my rolling pin comes down in a moment.”

”Kid, just based on those words, this uncle is going to beat you into a pulp so your own mother won’t recognize you.” The opponent was a Martial Artist with some basic skills; Guan Xiaoning had met a formidable foe.

”Go, Little Brother!” Guan Xiaowen’s heart was twisted in knots, her hands clenched tightly in nervousness.

Si Nan ruthlessly poured cold water on her, ”You’d better worry about yourself. Do you see her? That unconscious woman lying on the ground is your opponent.”

Guan Xiaowen knew Si Nan hadn’t brought her here to watch a show; this was a test for them. If they passed, they could follow her; if they failed, they’d be left to fend for themselves.

She nodded heavily, ”Okay, I will definitely b-b-b-beat her to death.”

Si Nan: ”...”

Stuttering like that, are you sure it’s not her-her-her who’s going to beat you to death?

*Bang~*

”Ouch~”

Guan Xiaoning took another punch. Si Nan couldn’t bear to watch. The little fellow was agile—he was a sports student, after all—but he lacked combat experience and was being chased and thrashed by the cunning, scrawny man.

”Ow, Xiao Ning, why are you running? Turn around and beat the crap out of him!” Ma Bufan was anxious to death, wishing he could go up and give Guan Xiaoning a hand.

After taking three heavy punches, just as the fourth one arrived, Guan Xiaoning took the initiative. He used the rolling pin to block the opponent’s fist and landed a right hook on the man’s face.

This punch carried all his fury, and the force was so great it sent the scrawny man sprawling. Before the man could climb back up, Guan Xiaoning quickly delivered a blow to the man’s head, leaving him seeing stars and unable to tell who was who.

Guan Xiaoning seized the opportunity. His hand rose and fell as the rolling pin rained down on the scrawny man’s body with incredible speed. The man could only defend and not attack, desperately curling up to minimize the damage but unable to find a chance to strike back.

”Argh, I’ll kill you!” The man finally couldn’t take it anymore and lunged at Guan Xiaoning despite the rolling pin.

”Then go die! Bang!” With a surge of ruthlessness, Guan Xiaoning gripped the rolling pin with both hands and used all his strength to deliver a final blow. *Bang!*

”You? I... am not reconciled.” The man looked toward Shi Yong as if seeking help.

Shi Yong himself was struggling to survive; how could he possibly care about him? He could only watch helplessly as the subordinate who had followed him for years was beaten to death. He clenched his fists and glared at Si Nan with a gaze so sinister it was as if he wanted to devour her.

Si Nan received his murderous gaze and deliberately provoked him with words, ”Don’t look at me like that. Even if you’re not satisfied, suck it up. In a moment, you can turn that killing intent into strength to kill me.”

”Continue. There are two left alive. Let’s begin.”

”Very well. I’m wondering how many moves it will take to kill you?” Shi Yong loosened his fists. He didn’t believe a small woman like Si Nan could be stronger than him.

He had seen the video of her jumping over the Residential Area’s iron gate empty-handed and killing Wang Meilan’s trio, but that was just some basic martial arts. What ’guided by a Special Forces father for years’? What kind of girl is taught to fight by her biological father from birth? This wasn’t some martial arts school.

They were all pampered. She was just thin and a bit flexible. Jumping over an iron gate is something any ordinary parkour runner can do; it was just showing off.

”Mm, do your best.” Si Nan gave the tall and burly Shi Yong a cold sideways glance. If it weren’t to test the skills of Bai Zichuan and the others, she would have slaughtered them all long ago. Why would he still be standing here talking nonsense?

”You?” Shi Yong’s surge of anger felt like it had hit cotton; it provoked nothing, making him even more frustrated.

Si Nan didn’t bother to look at the old man again. She turned to look at the returning Guan Xiaoning. ”Spitting blood and face all bruised—you didn’t fare much better. Barely passed. Go back and keep practicing.”

”Mm-hmm, yes, Sister Nan.” Guan Xiaoning grinned widely, happier than words could say, even though it hurt his face to smile. He had won. Even if his sister failed, he could ensure she wouldn’t starve.

Excluding Shi Yong and the unconscious woman, two living men remained.

Ma Bufan took the initiative, borrowing Song Yuan’s iron rod. He arrogantly crooked his finger at the man in the white down jacket, provoking him, ”You’re next. Get over here and let me beat you.”

The man instantly flew into a rage, veins popping on his forehead. ”You little brat, your hair hasn’t even grown in yet and you’re learning to be arrogant like an adult? You’ve picked the wrong opponent. Your Grandpa here has been following Brother Yong through underground casinos and entertainment cities for ten years. I’ll send you to see your mother right now.”

The man cracked his wrists as he approached Ma Bufan. In his eyes, only Si Nan was worth noting, and that was only because the woman was good-looking; the others were nothing. Those killed by them weren’t Martial Artists. He, Brother Yong, and A Dao (the last one who hadn’t stepped up yet) were all true Martial Artists.

Ma Bufan swung the rod. ”Villains die because they talk too much. You have too much nonsense to say.”

”Oh, you’re in a hurry to be reincarnated? I’ll send you on your way!” The man dodged the rod and pulled out a short knife, stabbing toward Ma Bufan’s neck.

Guan Xiaoning was scared to death by this move. ”Bufan, watch out! This guy is a Martial Artist!”

Si Nan raised her hand to stop him. ”Don’t disturb Ma Bufan’s fight.”

”Yes, Sister Nan.” Guan Xiaoning quickly shut his mouth.

In the center of the hall, Ma Bufan reacted quickly. Seeing the short knife coming, he immediately braked and retreated. Then, with the speed of a hundred-meter sprinter, he raised the iron rod and struck the man’s arm hard.

”Ah!” The man cried out in pain and loosened his grip, letting the short knife fall to the ground. He was smart enough not to pick it up; instead, he grabbed a wooden chair and smashed it toward Ma Bufan.

Coincidentally, their battle had moved close to Si Nan, who was sitting on the sofa. With a swing of Ma Bufan’s iron rod, the chair was smashed to pieces, splinters scattering everywhere.

Seeing an opportunity, the man didn’t engage Ma Bufan. Instead, he pulled a fruit knife from his waist and lunged to assassinate Si Nan.

”You dare target her? You must die.” Song Yuan was standing right next to Si Nan. With a lightning-fast kick, he sent the man flying into the TV set, where he rolled to the floor. He and Ma Bufan pounced on the fallen man simultaneously.

The iron rod and fists landed on the man’s head together. With a *bang*, the man’s head shattered, his face a mess of blood. He died on the spot.

”Ah, A Li! I will avenge A Li!” A Dao watched helplessly as his own younger brother died so miserably. Provoked, he gripped a meter-long saber and slashed at Ma Bufan and Song Yuan.

”Step back, he’s mine.” Song Yuan snatched the iron rod from Ma Bufan’s hand and pushed him aside. With a *clink*, the iron rod blocked the long saber, while he simultaneously delivered a heavy kick to A Dao’s knee. All his movements were as smooth as flowing water.
