Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

57: Scumbags are coming!Si Nan had to admire Gao Ming; although he was scum, he was smart. He simply replied with one sentence: ”I’m waiting for you all.”

He didn’t pay her any more attention after that.

On the other end, Xia Mi, who was hiding in the wardrobe of her room to secretly send messages to Si Nan, was suddenly caught by Gao Ming. He grabbed her by the hair, dragged her out of the wardrobe, and gave her a brutal beating.

”You bitch, I told you not to tip her off, yet you still haven’t given up. Do you believe I’ll throw you to the zombies to be gnawed on later on the road?”

”I was wrong, I was wrong, I won’t dare do it again.” Xia Mi knelt before Gao Ming, begging for mercy. Looking at her now, she had been tortured until she looked neither human nor ghost; she was skin and bones, her face long since unrecognizable. Her once fairly beautiful eyes were sunken, making her look like a living malevolent spirit, even more unsightly than someone with anorexia.

”Give me the phone, and get lost!”

Gao Ming kicked Xia Mi away in disgust and snatched her phone to check her chat history with Si Nan. He then sent a message himself:

”Si Nan, once I catch you, I’ll make your life worse than death, just like Xia Mi is now. She’s kneeling and begging me to sleep with her in exchange for instant noodles, and I can’t even be bothered to look at her.

Of course, if you’re smart enough, you’ll proactively open the door to welcome my arrival and hand over the house and supplies. Then, I might consider giving you a quick death, because I’ve learned how to kill.”

”Very well, then talk to me when you’ve managed to reach my front door alive, because I’ve prepared a gift for you too.” Si Nan had originally put down her phone, but she knew it was that scum Gao Ming as soon as she saw the message.

On the contrary, she was very excited. This was great; just the day before she was regretting that she couldn’t kill the scumbag with her own hands, and now here he was.

She had to think carefully about how she should welcome the scum once he arrived—assuming he could even reach her alive.

In the Western District, a modified armored vehicle smashed through closed gates and hit the road. It was converted from a powerful heavy-duty truck and immediately attracted a siege from countless zombies. However, the four cutting gears at the front of the vehicle quickly carved a bloody path for them, and they sped away.

Behind them, a crowd of slow-moving zombies stretched out their arms in pursuit. Xia Mi, who was tied up and thrown in the very back, watched as black blood splashed across the window next to her. Severed limbs and broken arms constantly slammed into the iron frame outside the window, where strands of black flesh hung. She let out a retch.

Slap! Xu Songquan’s uncle, who was lying in the back sleeping, slapped Xia Mi across the face. ”If you dare dirty my baby that I spent four days and nights without sleep modifying, I’ll throw you out to feed the zombies.”

”I... I won’t do it again, mmph.” Xia Mi was so scared she quickly shut her mouth. She had been tortured to the point of a near mental breakdown, and she didn’t even dare to have a single thought of resistance.

Driving in the front, Gao Ming was in a killing frenzy. ”This is too satisfying! Come on, come on, you zombie bitches! You’re just as disgusting as that bitch Si Nan!”

Xu Songquan, sitting beside him, tried to advise him. ”Drive properly. There are a lot of zombies. Once we catch Si Nan, won’t it be up to us how we deal with her?”

Over the past few days, whenever they thought about how Si Nan hadn’t told them about the zombie virus outbreak, they were filled with the strength to kill her. Fortunately, his uncle worked at a nearby auto repair shop, which had many good vehicles.

To modify this vehicle, they had risked their lives to charge through twice before reaching the repair shop. It took them an entire day just to clear out the zombies.

Finally, heaven rewards the diligent, and they succeeded. Driving this car made them practically invincible! What zombies? They were all sliced like tofu. Nothing could stop their resolve to kill Si Nan.

Of course, what they wanted most was Si Nan’s house. Just looking at those high, reflective, indestructible courtyard walls made them too excited to sleep.

There was also the house full of food she had prepared in advance, the table full of delicacies in her livestream, and Si Nan’s face and figure, which had become charming after she lost weight—everything was incredibly delicious.

Just imagine: living in such a sturdy fortress, eating gourmet food, drinking fine wine, and having a Beauty like Si Nan to play with, all without having to work for years. How wonderful that would be!

Hahaha, they would be able to realize it very soon.

The four cutting saws at the front of the car were prepared for Si Nan. They didn’t believe they couldn’t cut through her courtyard walls and take down that smelly woman!

”Charge! Come on, come on, all of you come over! I’ll crush you all one by one!” Gao Ming had gone mad, his heart long since twisted. He was now filled with a craving for blood and slaughter; killing Si Nan was his only wish.

Xu Songquan looked at the zombies being knocked aside and torn apart by the front of the car. The road ahead was perfectly clear. He didn’t bother with Gao Ming anymore; let him be crazy, he was more useful that way.

He lit a cigarette and handed it to Gao Ming while he started eating snacks. The car was driving rapidly toward Si Nan’s location.

Meanwhile, Si Nan had long since fallen asleep, but she suddenly felt very cold. Thinking she had forgotten to turn on the air conditioner, she quickly tried to raise the temperature, only to see that the AC was on and set to 25 degrees, yet it felt as cold as if it weren’t on at all.

”What’s going on?” She looked out the window. The blizzard had paused, the sky was overcast, and long, crystal-clear icicles hung from the trees on both sides of the main road like sharp arrows.

Even her house was surrounded by transparent icicles, and the zombies outside were rapidly gathering, forming a horde and heading toward their residential complex.

”Is this... Extreme Cold? And it’s triggered a zombie tide.” She quickly retreated into her warm bed, turned up the central air conditioning, and opened her phone. Ma Bufan had already tagged her.

”Nan, Sister Nan, do you have any spare quilts at your house? The temperature suddenly dropped over ten degrees; it’s already over thirty below zero. It’s so, so cold. I beg for a quilt, achoo!”

Si Nan: ”...”

”Sigh, come and get them.” She rubbed her forehead helplessly.

”Right away, thank you Sister Nan.” Ma Bufan and Guan Xiaoning scrambled to go, both wanting to wrap themselves in thick quilts. There was no other way; even with all the quilts from Grandma’s house piled on them, it was still freezing.

They were men, so they couldn’t let Sister Xiao Wen, a girl, freeze, right? So they gave Sister Xiao Wen two quilts, and the remaining one couldn’t possibly cover both him and Xiao Ning.

Even though they had spent a lot of time desperately practicing martial arts to burn energy, they were still having such a hard time now. By nightfall, they would truly be frozen into popsicles.

”Th-thank you, Si-Sister Nan.” By the time Si Nan opened the courtyard gate and gave them two down quilts worth several thousand yuan each, the two of them were already tongue-tied from the cold.

Pfft! Si Nan laughed. ”Just turn on the AC. There’s no need to freeze yourselves like this, is there?”

The two of them each grabbed a quilt and wrapped it around themselves, instantly coming back to life. ”Sister Nan, our AC is broken. It might be because it’s been blowing constantly these past few days; the outdoor unit stopped moving. Sob sob sob~”

”How about it, Sister Nan, let me in to warm up? Ouch!”

”Get lost!” Si Nan directly kicked the grinning Ma Bufan a meter away.
