Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

97: In the apocalypse, if you don’t live a timid life and instead run around everywhere, aren’t you justIn less than two minutes, Huangfu Qiankun and that celebrity woman were dead, with not even a speck of dust remaining. Luo Sen opened the door and walked out, and those zombies automatically retreated.

Si Nan walked out smiling, unhurriedly picking up the car keys from the ground and getting into the car. She drove three circles around the spot with Luo Sen and was quite satisfied, ”So cool.”

Afterward, she got out and immediately stored the car into her space.

Luo Sen pointed to a corner of the garage for Si Nan to see, ”So many dead people.”

”Mm, they were all killed by those two just now; they were bad people. Let’s go, the bad guys are dealt with, we can go scavenge things now. There’s a lot of popcorn inside, I’ll go get a cup for you.”

Si Nan pulled Luo Sen back inside and locked the door properly.

”Popcorn, Sen Sen is coming.” Luo Sen was also incredibly happy, letting her pull him along; if Big Sister was happy, he was happy.

Only after walking inside did she realize that this cinema was even larger than imagined. It had many screening rooms across six floors, and every floor was stocked with plenty of snacks and equipped with a warehouse.

No wonder Huangfu Qiankun wanted to kill all the staff here; with a large population eating so much, of course they had to be killed. Now, it all belonged to them.

Si Nan first went to the popcorn machine and filled a large cup for Luo Sen, then stored the machine along with it into her space. There were also coffee machines, juicers, soy milk makers, sausage grills, beverage dispensers, and so on—collect, collect, collect.

As she picked up and stored things behind the counter, Luo Sen leaned against it, eating popcorn and watching her happily. His handsome face was all smiles, as if what he was eating wasn’t popcorn, but happiness.

Soon, the service desk and the small warehouse behind it were empty. They moved on to find other warehouses, an area where Luo Sen was an expert. Perhaps because he used to build houses, he still retained a sharp subconscious and habitual movements; he only needed to glance at the structure of the surrounding rooms to immediately find where the warehouse was located. It was just that magical.

For instance, right now, he pointed at an inconspicuous door and said, ”Big Sister, it’s here.”

The door was locked, and Si Nan didn’t bother looking for a key; she kicked the door open. There were quite a few good things inside, all food. ”Hahaha, good luck.”

She had said that the early stage of the Apocalypse was the best time to scavenge supplies; any later and there would be nothing left. With a wave of her hand, she took it all. Then she searched laterally, taking any good thing she took a fancy to into her space, floor after floor, until the top sixth floor.

Just as she was having the most fun collecting, a sudden noise came from one of the screening rooms. ”Hmm?”

”Big Sister, Sen Sen is going to catch the mouse.” Luo Sen ran into that door immediately and soon returned clutching a young man wearing a staff uniform.

The young man looked at Si Nan and hurriedly explained, ”Can you leave a little bit of stuff for me?”

Si Nan asked him, ”Have you been here the whole time?”

The boy nodded, ”Yes, I’m an intern who just started here. I hid when the virus broke out, and I also hid when the boss went on a killing spree that day.”

I also—I also saw the boss being eaten by zombies just now.”

Si Nan’s eyes narrowed sharply, ”What else did you see?”

The fact that she had a space must never be exposed!

She had been careless; she should have checked the environment first before collecting things with peace of mind. This boy served as a reminder.

The boy shook his head, ”I was afraid you’d see me, so I didn’t dare watch any further. I only risked running out to look when I heard noise outside just now. Big Sister, please don’t kill me. The boss deserved to die; he killed everyone here and hogged all the food.”

Si Nan approached step by step. She had just put a lot of things into her space; this boy must have seen it.

”Big Sister, have mercy.” The boy cried for mercy, but while still in Luo Sen’s hands, he pulled out a fruit knife and lunged at Si Nan.

He originally wanted to take Si Nan hostage to make Luo Sen release him, but things didn’t go as planned; everyone he encountered was a god of slaughter.

*Crack!* Just as Si Nan’s ancient saber was drawn, Luo Sen snapped the boy’s neck. With a toss, the corpse flew far away, as light as a feather.

Turning his face, Luo Sen beamed at Si Nan like a blossoming flower, ”Heehee, he’s bad.”

”Mm, well done. Sen Sen, can you do Big Sister a favor? Go check if there are any other bad people.”

”Mm-hmm, leave it to Sen Sen.”

Si Nan handed Luo Sen a cup of juice and let him happily go check the other screening rooms while she stayed behind to continue scavenging supplies.

Ten minutes later, Luo Sen returned holding a pink cloth doll in his arms, which he stuffed directly into Si Nan’s hands. ”Compensation for Big Sister.”

”Okay.” Si Nan looked down at the doll; its little pink dress was sparkly and very pretty, though it had been stepped on and was a bit dirty.

Luo Sen reached out and took it back, ”Don’t want this one. Sen Sen wants to give Big Sister a new one. Come, Big Sister, Sen Sen knows where they are.”

Without waiting for Si Nan’s agreement, Luo Sen pulled her along until they reached a row of claw machines. Luo Sen pointed happily at the many dolls inside, ”All for Big Sister.”

Si Nan was all smiles, her heart feeling sweet; this version of Luo Sen was actually quite cute.

*Bang!* That fellow smashed the outer glass of a machine with a punch and reached in to grab them.

”Wait a moment.” Si Nan intercepted his hand and used the military shovel to clear away the glass shards before letting Luo Sen take the dolls inside.

Luo Sen looked at Si Nan and suddenly blurted out, ”Big Sister likes Sen Sen.”

Si Nan smiled helplessly, ”Yes, yes, yes, Big Sister likes Sen Sen, loves you to death. Shall we take all the dolls in here?”

”Yay, that way Sen Sen will have given Big Sister many dolls. Sen Sen wins!” Luo Sen danced with joy, though his clumsy movements looked strange.

Si Nan didn’t mind him; she broke all the glass and collected all the dolls.

By the time they walked out of the cinema, it was already 3:00 PM. There were still so many places that hadn’t been raided. She took Luo Sen’s hand and turned toward the adjacent building; the zombies avoided them automatically, as if they were in an uninhabited land.

It took a full two hours to finish raiding the ground level. Someone on the top floor saw them, ”Are these two idiots? If you don’t hunker down in the Apocalypse, isn’t running around just seeking death? The strange thing is, why haven’t they been bitten by zombies? Could it be that the flight suits they’re wearing can block the scent of living people?”

The man felt he had found the truth. He stuck his hand out the window and shouted at Si Nan, ”Hey, can you two sell me a flight suit? I’ll pay the price of two packs of instant noodles.”

”You’re really generous.” Si Nan couldn’t be bothered with him and quickly swept toward the underground supermarket. Upon entry, besides zombies, it was a scene of desolation. The food section had been looted clean; she couldn’t even find a bag of instant noodles to pick up.

Of course, she had no complaints even without finding any; with so many people living nearby, it was bound to be looted.

Pots, pans, and cleaning supplies were still there and quite tidy. She collected them along with the shelves as she went; not a blade of grass was left in her wake.

Luo Sen protected her surroundings, and only after all the zombies were driven away did he act freely.

To Si Nan’s satisfaction, the bedding section was intact. This was good; in the later stages, normal crops couldn’t be grown, let alone producing bedding. Things like quilts would be needed for a lifetime.

She specifically picked out those that hadn’t been unpacked, as many samples had been contaminated by black zombie blood. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the service desk; there was a small room behind it, likely a warehouse.

She gripped her military shovel and walked over. Suddenly, with a ”Roar,” a female zombie rushed out from inside.
