Reborn As Super Heiress

Unexpectedly, at this moment, Auntie Li suddenly spoke again, conveying an additional message from the delivery guy:

”Miss Huo, the delivery guy asked me to tell you that the client who entrusted their company to send this package left a message before leaving, asking Miss Huo to take good care of Tongtong.”

Tongtong? When Huo Sining heard this, a light bulb instantly went off in her head, and she suddenly realized something, coming to an understanding.

”Miss, should I send the delivery guy away for now and wait until you return?”

Seeing that Huo Sining hadn’t responded, Auntie Li also sensed that something was off and couldn’t help but suggest this.

As she was about to hang up, unexpectedly, Huo Sining suddenly spoke: ”Wait!”

Auntie Li immediately asked, ”Yes?”

After thinking for a moment, Huo Sining said, ”Ask the delivery guy to come in the afternoon. I’m heading to the airport now and should be home around three in the afternoon, so have him come then.”

Auntie Li was momentarily stunned by this change of plans. While she was curious, she knew she shouldn’t speculate about her employer’s decisions, so she quickly nodded and agreed:

”Alright, I’ll let him know right away. Miss Huo, please travel safely.”

With that, the call was gently ended.

After explaining the situation to Gu Xu over the phone, Huo Sining set off immediately, driving to the airport and catching the earliest flight to Magic Capital.

Upon arriving in Magic Capital, she quickly took a taxi to the villa area. As soon as she opened the door to her house, she saw a young man in his twenties sitting in the living room. Judging by his attire, she immediately recognized him as the delivery guy Auntie Li had mentioned earlier.

Seeing Huo Sining’s return, Auntie Li was surprised at how quickly she got back. She greeted her and took her luggage, explaining:

”I passed your message to him, but he insisted on staying until you returned to sign for the package. Seeing him waiting in the cold outside, I invited him in to warm up by the fire.”

The winter in Magic Capital can be quite chilly, so Huo Sining didn’t mind. She understood why the delivery guy was so persistent. Their company likely had strict VIP service policies, and he might face penalties or even dismissal if he didn’t comply.

Seeing the young man seemed honest and straightforward, letting him in was not an issue. So, Huo Sining nodded and turned to the delivery guy with a smile, saying, ”Hello, I’m Huo Sining.”

The delivery guy, upon seeing the name Huo Sining on the package slip, assumed it was just a common name and didn’t connect it with the famous person on TV and in the news.

When he saw Huo Sining enter with a small suitcase, he was shocked and became flustered. Once she spoke, he snapped back to reality and stood up excitedly, looking at her:

”You... you are... that...”

He was so excited that he couldn’t form a complete sentence for a while.

Having delivered packages for so long, he never imagined meeting his ultimate idol up close. His disbelief was palpable as he realized that the famous Huo Sining was right in front of him.

He felt his blood boil with excitement and gratitude that he chose the right career, allowing him this miraculous opportunity.

Seeing the delivery guy’s expression, Huo Sining guessed what he wanted to say. With amusement, she smiled and nodded, ”Yes, I am that Huo Sining.”

The delivery guy blushed, hesitating to offer a handshake before awkwardly retracting his hand, ”I... I haven’t washed my hands.”

Finding his bashfulness endearing, Huo Sining was more curious about the package he was holding.

”You can give me the box, I’ll sign for it. The bathroom is to your left and turn right if you want to wash your hands, though I don’t mind shaking hands with you now.”

She teased.

Embarrassed, the delivery guy quickly headed to the bathroom, while Huo Sining focused on the package.

Suspecting it might be from Elisa, she adhered to safety protocols and used the Heavenly Eye to inspect the package before signing to ensure it was safe.

After confirming there was no danger, she signed her name on the slip.

When the delivery guy returned with clean hands, Huo Sining shook his hand, noting his blush spread to his ears, amusing her even more.

She found such shyness in a young man quite fascinating.

After completing his task and tearing off the delivery slip, the delivery guy was about to leave but turned back, hesitantly asking:

”Miss Huo, may I... keep your signature?”

He nervously held up the slip with Huo Sining’s signature.

She smiled and nodded, ”Of course, if your company allows you to keep the stub.”

He let out a sigh of relief, carefully storing the slip in his notebook, then looked up with a smile:

”No worries, the company only needs the receipt and scan code, not the slip. I will cherish your signature.”
