Reborn As Super Heiress

”Bang bang bang——”

The sound of gunshots echoed continuously. Several henchmen around the man in the suit fell one after another; the doctor was frightened into fainting, but the other henchmen were truly hit by bullets.

Huo Sining and Gu Xu were not far away, also somewhat bewildered by the situation. Just then, an Aston Martin roared its engine and dashed madly toward the factory.

The man in the suit reacted quickly. As soon as the gunshots rang out, he hid behind one of the factory doors. Seeing the Aston Martin charging forward, he realized it was not good, and hastily shot at the driver’s position with his gun.

Missing a shot, the person in the Aston Martin aimed directly at the hiding spot of the man in the suit, poised to turn him into a sieve the moment he showed himself.

The man in the suit, seeing this, quickly turned his head and saw the fainted doctor at his feet. In that critical moment, he grabbed the doctor by the neck, using his body as a shield, and headed straight out the door.

Unaware of the situation outside, the person in the Aston Martin began shooting as soon as someone appeared, hearing a series of bangs, the doctor being used as a shield shivered all over, and large amounts of blood gushed out, pooling on the ground.

”This is inhumane, not even sparing his own people; such a person is ruthless!”

Frightened by the cruel and selfish means of the man in the suit, Huo Sining stood aside, dumbfounded. This was likely her first time witnessing such a scene; compared to the so-called police-gangster shootouts and fights she had seen on TV and online, this was way beyond them.

The person inside the Aston Martin was clearly also interested in the woman inside the factory. They quickly revved the car into the building, opened the door, and a pair of large hands reached in, pulling the tied-up woman inside the car as if grabbing a rag. The car made a sharp 180-degree turn and accelerated rapidly outwards.

However, the gunshots alarmed people around the factory, and soon, reinforcements came. The previously dispersed henchmen around the factory all rushed over, and despite the Aston Martin’s excellent performance, it was soon riddled with bullets amidst the intense gunfire.

Several shots even hit the car wheels, quickly deflating them; the car, not far after driving away, began swerving like a drunk, and finally, a bullet went through the windshield, hitting the driver directly in the head.

The car screeched to a halt, quickly surrounded by Adrian’s men.

There was no movement from the back seat, and no one got out.

Without knowing what was happening, Adrian didn’t dare to approach easily. After hesitating, he signaled to a few of his subordinates, who all pointed their guns at the car’s back seat.

”Listen inside, surrender your weapons...”

Adrian spoke in Mexican Spanish, his eyes fiercely fixed on the back seat. Seeing no response, he signaled to one of his men to pull the car door open.

Under orders, the henchman immediately stepped forward without hesitation, reaching to open the door.

But what startled everyone was that just as the man was about to open the door, a gunshot rang out, and the henchman cried out miserably, falling to the ground, clutching his thigh in agony, curling up in pain.

A fresh wound appeared on the man’s thigh, blood gushing out, clearly a gunshot wound.

Seeing this, the man in the suit was suddenly shocked. Before he could react, several more gunshots sounded, and the henchmen surrounding the Aston Martin fell to the ground. Their injuries were either in their thighs, shoulders, or abdomens. The wounds were not life-threatening but did incapacitate them.

Watching his men fall one by one, Adrian was deeply alarmed, a strong sense of danger welling up inside him. Gripping his pistol, he scanned his surroundings, shouting sternly, ”Who is it... who is there? Show yourself if you dare!”

The Aston Martin remained still, with no one inside, making Adrian aware that the concealed shots were not fired from the car.

Someone was ambushing from the shadows!

Receiving no response, Adrian instinctively stepped back, seemingly wanting to retreat into the factory. But before retreating far, a hand chop landed on his neck, and soon the primary speaker of District 11 collapsed to the ground, turning into a heap of mud.

Over at the Aston Martin, Ouyang Jun and another companion were already frightened stiff by the scene.

Surrounded by the drug dealers and having prepared mentally for their demise, Ouyang Jun even took out a hand grenade for the final showdown. Yet before he could rush out, a strange turn of events happened outside—the drug dealers surrounding them all fell down.

”What’s... going on here?”

It wasn’t just Ouyang Jun; even the other two people in the car were completely bewildered, unable to recover for a long time.

With the plot suddenly reversed, the factory was now filled with fallen enemies, but Ouyang Jun and his comrades dared not leave the car easily, not knowing what was happening or what to do next.

”Which divine being is helping out here, seeing injustice and rescuing us?”

After exchanging glances for a while, Ouyang Jun finally mustered up the courage to shout outside the car.

Hearing Ouyang Jun’s words, Huo Sining couldn’t help but laugh despite holding it back before, now bursting into laughter.

Putting away her gun, she took a moment to nod triumphantly towards Gu Xu. They had both taken care of the henchmen together, each hitting one without missing. Huo Sining gave Gu Xu a pleased smile, her gaze clearly saying, how about that, wasn’t my shooting accurate?

Gu Xu was obviously surprised as well; he genuinely didn’t expect his wife’s shooting skills to be on par with his own.
