Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 1048: Chapter 1044 Busy for Nothing

After checking the school map, Huo Sining quickly found the location of the school’s server room.

According to Huo Sining’s plan, she just needed to sneak into the server room and wait until nobody was paying attention. Then she could secretly copy the exam questions stored in the server.

However, when she arrived invisibly outside the server room, squatting for several hours, and finally sneaked in, she discovered that the servers at Waseda University were nothing like the computers she imagined. This was high-tech stuff, and she had no idea how to handle it.

Huo Sining was a bit frustrated, contemplating whether to ask Gu Xu for help again, to have Yu Fei hack into the Waseda University server room and steal a set of exam papers for her. But Huo Sining felt embarrassed to ask, and even if she did, Gu Xu might not be willing to help her, since asking a special forces operative to steal exam papers is pretty disgraceful.

Just as Huo Sining was hesitating, the server room door suddenly got a knock, startling her. Though she was hidden invisibly in the server room, she instinctively shrunk back, carefully concealing herself.

The door was opened by the attendant, and a person walked inside holding a disk.

Upon seeing the newcomer, the attendant immediately smiled and said, ”Professor Aso, you came over?”

The professor nodded and handed the disk to the attendant, ”These are the exam questions from the management department, copy them into the exam database.”

The attendant quickly agreed, saying, ”Okay, please wait a moment.”

With that, the attendant started getting busy with the disk.

Standing less than three meters behind the attendant, Huo Sining listened to their conversation, and her eyes suddenly lit up, joyous inside. What is it called to find things without effort? This is it!

Unfortunately, Huo Sining’s joy didn’t last five seconds before her fantasy broke.

Professor Aso, seeing the attendant copying the exam questions into the server, suddenly thought of something and asked, ”Did all departments upload their exam questions this time?”

The attendant nodded and then shook his head, ”The other departments have submitted theirs, but the biology department has a special situation this year. I heard that Professor Yoshiyama independently set the exam questions for the biology department, and these exams will not be submitted to the exam database.”

Nagayama Kaiyuki had been removed from his professor position, but many staff and students inside the school still habitually called him professor. When Professor Aso heard the attendant’s words, his eyes flashed with irony, and sarcastically remarked:

”Hmph, just to vent, he broke years of tradition in the school. What should have been a serious final exam turned into a farce. This Yongshan is really getting worse as he ages!”

The attendant, a mere staff member, dared not rebut Professor Aso’s words. Hearing Professor Aso’s sarcasm against Nagayama Kaiyuki, he lowered his head and remained silent, pretending not to hear.

Professor Aso didn’t expect this staff member to agree with his point of view. He silently took his disk and turned to leave.

Huo Sining stood in place, already seething with anger.

She never expected that this damned Nagayama Kaiyuki had no intention of submitting the exam questions to the database, completely blocking the path for her to steal the questions. Initially, she thought her Invisibility Skill would solve the problem by sneaking into the exam database, but she never imagined this path was a dead-end.

She prepared for two days just to steal the exam papers, but now it was all in vain, making Huo Sining incredibly frustrated, feeling her heart and liver ache with anger. Yet, she had no choice but to go back and think of another way.

Seeing this situation, it’s guaranteed she won’t get the papers, but does she really have to compromise with someone like Nagayama Kaiyuki?

Returning to the dorm, Huo Sining was very annoyed, scrolling through Weibo, when she suddenly received a private message from Liu Cheng.

This guy really went to find Wu Jun and is now working at the Capital Crown Jade Beauty Branch with Wu Jun. While he didn’t meet Huo Sining, Liu Cheng knew this was arranged by Huo Sining through Wu Jun, so he sent her a private message to express gratitude.

Such trivial matters didn’t concern Huo Sining. She replied to Liu Cheng casually, ”Work hard, gain experience. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to shine later.”

After sending the reply, Huo Sining paused, recalling the incident in the outskirts of Imperial Capital City. Liu Cheng, with his crafty and resourceful mind, clearly had lots of ideas.

Thinking it over, she couldn’t help but send Liu Cheng another private message: ”Did you ever cheat on exams when you were in school?”

Liu Cheng, invigorated by Huo Sining’s encouragement, was ready to forge ahead when he saw her message. Stunned, he thought, ”No way, is the boss investigating my background now? Does she even check if I cheated on school exams?”

Startled, Liu Cheng quickly replied, ”No no, absolutely not. I was a good student, never cheated! I’d rather score zero than cheat!”

Seeing this reply, Huo Sining almost burst into laughter, ”Stop putting on airs. It’s obvious you weren’t an honest student, certainly cheated often! Help me figure out something; I’m going to fail my exams. I want to cheat but can’t think of a way.”

Liu Cheng was dumbfounded, the goddess wants to cheat? Did he hear wrong? He remembered the goddess as a model student, how could a top student need to cheat?

”(⊙o⊙)...Did I hear wrong? Goddess, are you stooping to this too?” Liu Cheng cautiously replied, still not believing that Huo Sining intended to cheat, thinking she was testing him.

Huo Sining candidly told Liu Cheng about Nagayama Kaiyuki’s situation. Upon hearing it, Liu Cheng instantly grew furious, thinking, ”What a joke! His idol is bullied in Dongyang; both aunt and uncle can’t tolerate this!”

”Isn’t it simple? Didn’t you say Nagayama Kaiyuki made the questions? Get some people to follow him at night, throw a snakeskin bag over his head, beat him senseless, or find a way to hack his computer, steal his office keys, and directly take the papers from him...”

Though Liu Cheng’s ideas were mostly bad, Huo Sining’s eyes suddenly brightened. Yes, since Nagayama Kaiyuki set the exam questions himself, they must be with him. If not in the server room, then in his office, why not just go to Nagayama Kaiyuki’s office to get them?
