Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 1035: Chapter 1031 Renting a Warehouse

The speaker was so excited, he almost wanted to reach out and touch, but when he looked up and saw the person getting out of the car, he was dumbfounded.

A girl who looked less than twenty years old, wearing a cute knitted hat, a down jacket, and snow boots, with a backpack slung over her shoulder, a picture-perfect student look.

The owner of this car seemed completely mismatched with this Maybach, which exuded noble elegance and rugged wildness; the girl standing by the car door looked like Beauty and the Beast’s new pair, bizarre no matter how you looked.

”Who’s renting out this warehouse? I’m here to rent it.”

Huo Sining saw the two people as soon as she got out of the car. Her gaze swept across them, guessing one of them might be the person she talked to on the phone before, so she directly inquired.

The person who couldn’t move his legs after seeing the Maybach immediately nudged his partner, reminding him: ”Hey, Lao Chou, she’s calling you!”

Lao Chou snapped back to reality, looking at Huo Sining with some surprise: ”You... Little girl, you’re the one who just called me?”

Huo Sining nodded: ”Yes, it’s me. Where’s the warehouse? If you don’t mind, please show me around.”

Lao Chou nodded hurriedly, his eyes flicking over the Maybach a few more times before reluctantly turning around and leading the way: ”Girl, follow me.”

Huo Sining walked behind the two, overhearing them whisper furtively while glancing back: ”Hey, buddy, did you see that? It’s a Maybach!”

”I know, that model, I just saw it at a car show in the city not too long ago, the new 62S. Do you know how much it costs?”

”At least two or three million, right? This is something only wealthy people drive!”

”Nonsense, two or three million would buy you four wheels! This car is over nine million, and if you include everything, it might be more than ten million!”

”Over ten million? Oh my gosh, this little girl driving such a luxury car looks like a rich girl. Now she wants to rent your warehouse, don’t be stupid, set the price high. With so much money and looking like a student, she probably won’t haggle with you.”

”You don’t need to tell me. I’m in this business, won’t lose out. Wealthy people don’t care about this trivial stuff.”

Huo Sining followed behind, listening to the two talk, her mouth twitching slightly, thinking to herself that these two really believed she couldn’t hear them?

Upon arriving at the warehouse, the two opened the large warehouse doors, and Huo Sining walked in, looking around the place.

She wanted to rent a warehouse to transition the antiques and relics from her storage ring. It didn’t need to be large or have complete facilities, the key requirement was secrecy.

Because she would take out everything from the ring at once, if someone saw it, she’d be in trouble. So a critical thing for Huo Sining was ensuring this warehouse had no surveillance cameras or other monitoring equipment, preferably without even windows.

This was why, after seeing the warehouse rental information online, Huo Sining had saved the contact number on her phone specifically—because the posted details matched her criteria perfectly, as if tailored for her.

However, online details aren’t always reliable, so Huo Sining had to inspect it. This warehouse was indeed basic, empty inside, not even an air conditioner, not to mention cooling equipment needed for storing items in summer. Renting out a warehouse like this was truly puzzling.

Yet, these two men happened to meet a generous client now—Huo Sining, who didn’t care about any of these issues. She casually glanced around and then nodded satisfied, deciding swiftly.

”It’s good enough. Name your price. If it’s reasonable, I’ll take it right away.”

Upon hearing this, the two men looked at each other, seemingly unsure about Huo Sining’s lack of objections: ”Are you sure? No comments on the conditions?”

The two were not new to encounters with warehouse renters. Those renters usually left without discussing prices upon seeing the poor conditions. It was their first time meeting someone as straightforward as Huo Sining.

They had considered adding equipment to improve the warehouse facilities, but the equipment prices were too high, and they had no spare money to buy them. Plus, the warehouse’s remote location meant if they equipped it, it would require someone to watch it, which they had no time for. Hiring someone would be costly, so they gave up.

The two had lost hope, leaving the warehouse idle. They didn’t expect anyone to call about it, and that this young girl, seemingly clueless about warehouse conditions, wouldn’t even ask about management facilities but decided to rent it.

Such good fortune felt unreal to the two, making them suspect something might go wrong, looking at Huo Sining with quite doubtful eyes.

Huo Sining couldn’t help but laugh: ”A little lacking is just fine. I won’t be using those things anyway in your warehouse, doesn’t matter. Just name a price, but don’t make it outrageous. I did some checking before coming; I have a rough idea about prices around here.”

Upon hearing this, the two were momentarily stunned, exchanging glances and pushing each other slightly before one tentatively spoke: ”Then how about eight thousand a month.”

Small warehouses usually rented by the day, with daily rates ranging from one to one and a half yuan per square meter. Huo Sining estimated the warehouse area was about two hundred square meters. At the maximum day rate of one and a half yuan, the daily rent would be three hundred yuan, totaling nine thousand a month.

However, that’s calculated under optimal conditions with complete facilities. This warehouse, with nothing inside, charged eight thousand a month, was already outrageously high.

But Huo Sining was pressed for time and unwilling to haggle, so she agreed immediately, as eight thousand wasn’t much to her.

This girl is indeed wealthy, though he was too timid to quote higher. Alas!

The warehouse owner saw Huo Sining’s promptness and regretted setting a low price, feeling somewhat frustrated internally.

Yet regretting now was useless; despite greed, the two couldn’t possibly make an unethical last-minute decision. They simply took the contract out and finalized the rental agreement with Huo Sining.
