Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 1023: Chapter 1019: The Condition Has Improved

Worried about doing too much and arousing suspicion from the experts, Huo Sining didn’t dare to make it too obvious. She first removed a small portion of the malignant tumors, while for the larger tumors, she could only use a staged method, first using spiritual energy to devour a small part of the peripheral cancer cells, thus shrinking the tumors.

Afterward, she repaired the ruptured blood vessels and compressed nerves in the stomach and used spiritual energy to sort out Qin Lianshan’s body, restoring his vitality so that he would not remain in a continuous coma, unable to speak or eat.

After completing these tasks, Huo Sining walked out of the ICU. Now that the spiritual energy from the Water-Repelling Pearl was increasing, she became more adept at performing these tasks, so she didn’t feel fatigued. However, due to the tension and mental strain, cold sweat was beading on her forehead and back.

Over there, people from the Qin Family and the Ouyang Family were waiting. When Huo Sining entered the ward, even the father of the Ouyang Family and several other family members of the Qin Family had come over. Seeing Huo Sining come out, they all gathered around her, looking at her with eyes full of anticipation.

”How is it?” Ouyang Jun, being the most impatient, rushed forward and anxiously grabbed Huo Sining’s shoulder to ask.

In front of so many people, Huo Sining really didn’t know what to say, so she could only vaguely reply, ”The elder is temporarily out of danger. He should wake up in a while and might feel hungry then. You should prepare some easily digestible liquid food for him to eat.”

Upon hearing Huo Sining’s words, everyone present was stunned. According to the expert panel’s previous statements, they were going to arrange for the elder to have emergency surgery and not eat. But now Huo Sining was suggesting they prepare food, and these conflicting statements left the Qin Family and the Ouyang Family confused, not knowing whom to listen to.

”Listen to Miss Huo. Call Aunt He to make some vegetable porridge for the elder!”

Upon hearing Huo Sining’s words, Qin Han pondered for a moment and immediately made a decision, instructing his wife beside him.

The experts, Zhao Hongru and several other clinical doctors, were present, and upon hearing what Huo Sining said, they got anxious. Zhao Hongru, who had previously somewhat changed his opinion of Huo Sining after chatting with Nie Dechang, instantly lost his good impression of her when he heard her suggesting feeding Qin Lianshan.

His face darkened, and he directly stopped Mrs. Qin from making the call, glaring at Huo Sining, ”Young lady, it’s not frightening to be unskilled in medicine, but it’s frightening to be irresponsible to patients. Doing this doesn’t benefit you in any way. If something really happens to Master Qin, can you bear the responsibility?”

Upon hearing Zhao Hongru’s words, Huo Sining’s expression paused, and she looked at Zhao Hongru somewhat speechlessly, ”What do you mean by this? How am I being irresponsible to the patient?”

Zhao Hongru was full of anger and said angrily, ”By suggesting that the elder eat, you’re being irresponsible. Do you know that Master Qin vomited blood this morning, indicating that the malignant tumor in his stomach has compressed the blood vessels, causing them to rupture and resulting in blood pooling in his stomach, hence the vomiting symptom. Under such circumstances, isn’t it a joke to suggest he eat?”

Huo Sining smiled and said, ”Sir, I am treating Master Qin because I respect him as a person, not for any benefit. As for your claim of my irresponsibility, please conduct another diagnosis on Master Qin before saying that to me. As you said, it’s not frightening to be unskilled in medicine, but it’s frightening to be irresponsible to patients. Similarly, ignorance is not shameful, but it’s shameful to jump to conclusions and slander good people!”

”You!” Huo Sining’s words were utterly blunt, and her arrogance was almost excessive, leaving Zhao Hongru’s face flushed red, nearly triggering his high blood pressure, and he couldn’t find words to respond, pointing at Huo Sining in silence.

Huo Sining shrugged, disdainful of explaining. Nie Dechang, on the other hand, had long been accustomed to Huo Sining’s attitude, smiling as he comforted the experts with a glance, then softly signaled a few nurses, ”Go check the ICU and do another X-ray examination of Qin Lao’s stomach.”

The nurses were stunned upon hearing this, then nodded, and following Nie Dechang’s instructions, entered the ICU. Shortly after, a nurse hurried out, holding a few printed color sheets, her face full of disbelief, ”Professor Zhao, the patient’s condition...”

Upon hearing this, Zhao Hongru knew the condition had changed, thinking something went wrong; he got anxious and turned around to ask urgently, ”What’s happened to the condition, is there a problem?”

The nurse shook her head, somewhat at a loss for words, stammering, ”No...it’s that the condition has improved...”

”What did you say?!”

”It’s true, this is the ultrasound done when Qin Lao came to the hospital this morning, and this is the test we just did. Comparing the two sets of data, the difference is clear. When he arrived this morning, Qin Lao’s malignant stomach tumor was larger than now, and there was gastric pooling, but now, those large malignant tumors have shrunk, and the gastric blood stagnation has been cleared. The patient is awake now and even talked, asking to see his grandson and great-grandson. His mental state seems pretty good.”

Upon hearing the nurse’s words, not only Zhao Hongru but also the Qin Family and Ouyang Family members were shocked, and the experts looked at each other in disbelief.

Ouyang Jun was the first to recover, realizing that his phone call to Huo Sining had indeed been the right decision after hearing the nurse’s words and recalling Huo Sining’s earlier instruction to prepare food for the elder.

Ouyang Jun, instantly overwhelmed, his eyes reddened, grabbed Huo Sining’s shoulders, asking eagerly yet confidently, ”Was it you? Sister-in-law, were you the one who cured the elder?”

Ouyang Jun’s words brought everyone back to reality, and everyone looked at Huo Sining, their eyes filled with shock and disbelief. No one dared to believe that the improvement in Master Qin’s condition was due to this young girl, given that she had been in and out of the ICU in less than an hour.

Yet, who else could provide a more reasonable explanation?

Before Huo Sining went in, the elder was in a deep coma, with unable to even open his eyes, and now not only is he awake, but he’s also talking. The change is just too dramatic, isn’t it?
