Urban Martial Saint

Wang Yuanbo also knew Wang Tong and the others, and upon hearing them, he immediately said, ”I am eating here. What’s going on? Did you all come together?”

Wang Tong and the others were stunned, and Li Kason looked at Gu Xianping and others, then at Wang Yuanbo, and said in astonishment, ”Director Wang, you... you’re dining in this private room?”

”If not, then what?” Wang Yuanbo, thoroughly confused, sat down at the table and asked Old Fifth Yang, ”What’s going on here?”

Old Fifth Yang smiled and said, ”They’re here to cause trouble.”

”Cause trouble?” Wang Yuanbo frowned and coldly swept his gaze over the people on the other side.

Seeing Wang Yuanbo, Wang Tong and the others sensed something was wrong. How did Gu Xianping manage to invite someone like Wang Yuanbo to dine? No one knew the big case, but clearly, they couldn’t do whatever they wanted in this private room anymore.

”No... no, it’s nothing, just a misunderstanding. We just came to greet Teacher Gu. Take your time, take your time!” Wang Tong replied with a forced smile, cautiously walking towards the door; he didn’t want to stay in this private room a minute longer.

Suddenly, Huang Feiming slammed the table and bellowed, ”Don’t you leave!”

Startled, Wang Tong shivered and glanced at Huang Feiming, frowning. He might be afraid of Wang Yuanbo, but that did not mean he was afraid of Huang Feiming, as he had no idea the man in front of him was the Municipal Police Chief.

Suppressing his dissatisfaction, Wang Tong grinned sheepishly at Wang Yuanbo and said, ”Director Wang, we’ll head off first. Come and have a drink with us later if you have time!”

After finishing his statement, Wang Tong turned to leave. But Wang Yuanbo glared at him and snarled, ”Are you deaf? Didn’t you hear Director Huang saying you can’t leave?”

Wang Tong and the others immediately stopped, and they looked at each other. Li Kason cautiously asked, ”Director... Director Huang?”

Wang Tong looked at Huang Feiming, his face filled with surprise, and asked, ”Which Director Huang?”

Wang Tong wasn’t actually that worried because his brother-in-law was the secretary of the County Political and Legal Committee. Regardless of which department’s director it was, he should give him some face, right?

”Which Director Huang?” Wang Yuanbo glared and barked, ”The Municipal Police Chief Huang Feiming, do you recognize him?”

With those words, Li Kason almost collapsed. Wang Tong and the others’ faces changed drastically, especially Wang Tong, whose eyes nearly bulged out, his face turning the color of soy sauce.

”Municipal… Municipal... Police… Police Chief?” Wang Tong’s teeth chattered incessantly, and he struggled to speak. If this person was truly the Municipal Police Chief, that would mean he was just arguing with the Municipal Police Chief? And he had even told the Municipal Police Chief to shut up?

Well aware of the Municipal Police Chief’s power, not even his brother-in-law being the secretary of the County Political and Legal Committee could suppress Huang Feiming. This time, he had really hit a snag!

Wang Jiadong and Li Yan were also terrified, shivering all over. They had only intended to mock Gu Xianping; who could have imagined that sitting beside Gu Xianping would be both a County Chief and a Municipal Chief. Recalling what they had said earlier, they were now heartbreakingly regretful.

”Damn it, I said don’t leave, didn’t you hear?” Wang Yuanbo slammed the table and snapped, ”Get back in here!”

Being people in official circles, under normal circumstances, Wang Yuanbo would have given them face, at least not spoken to them in such a manner. But seeing Huang Feiming angry, he felt compelled to express even greater fury, leaving no room for politeness anymore.

Wang Tong and the others exchanged looks and finally returned to the private room humbly. This time, there was no arrogance; they all entered with their heads down, like elementary students facing their teacher.

Seeing them in such a state, Gu Xianping was so excited he was sweating profusely. Having been bullied for so long, he had always dreamed of getting justice for himself. And today, that justice seemed within reach!

Wang Yuanbo looked towards Huang Feiming and asked, ”Director Huang, how should we deal with these people?”

”How to deal with them?” Huang Feiming glared and said, ”I was eating here nicely; I was in a good mood. Then these people barged in and ruined the entire atmosphere. Speaking like that, you think just because you’re leaders, you’re something special? You can just run into someone else’s private room and go wild?”

Wang Tong and the others were scolded to their faces, yet not one dared to utter a word in retort. There was no way around it; Huang Feiming’s identity was just too astonishing. With Huang Feiming’s power, a single finger could crush them; who would dare speak back?

”Damn, these bastards, too outrageous!” Wang Yuanbo stood up and said, ”Director Huang, let me have them arrested right away!”

”What are you arresting?” Huang Feiming glared at Wang Yuanbo and said, ”They just came here to say a few words in the room and didn’t commit any crimes. We are police, not robbers; we operate by the law. I just can’t stand them cursing Teacher Gu here, damn, what nonsense. They really think they’re so great? Fuck, what are you pieces of shit, some deputy director, some principal, some vice principal? Impressive? Big deal? I’m not afraid to tell you, in my eyes, you’re worth less than a fart!”

Huang Feiming was indeed very angry just now, so he spoke without leaving any dignity for these people, scolding them like children. His tone was so severe that even Wang Yuanbo was scared, let alone Wang Tong and the others, who were almost peeing themselves.

It took a while for Huang Feiming to stop berating them, and finally, Li Kason cautiously said, ”Director Huang, I’m really sorry... we didn’t know you were here. It was our mistake, our mouths were foul, sorry, really sorry. You are magnanimous; please... don’t stoop to our level!”

Huang Feiming glared and said, ”Fuck, what piece of shit are you, do I even care to stoop to your level?”

Li Kason’s face turned beet red; he, a man in his forties or fifties, was being cursed like this by Huang Feiming, losing all his dignity. Yet, he dared not lose his temper, especially since he was facing Huang Feiming.

”You bunch of mongrel bastards, I’ve always heard that people in your education system are no good, and today I’ve really seen it!” Wang Yuanbo added fuel to the fire and said, ”I always thought, since we’re not from the same system and wouldn’t meet. I didn’t expect, fuck, that you’d actually come to us today. What do you mean by that? Do you think our police system is inferior to your education system? Or do you think people in our police system are easy to bully?”

Wang Tong awkwardly said, ”Director Wang, I... we didn’t mean that, we really didn’t know you two were here...”

”Oh, you mean, if we’re here, you can restrain yourselves a little. If we weren’t here, wouldn’t you be turning the place upside down?” Wang Yuanbo glared and angrily said, ”Fuck, you bunch of bastards, really blind as bats!”

In the room full of people, the one who truly had power was Xu Changzhi. Wang Yuanbo’s words were chastising these people for not recognizing Xu Changzhi’s status, but Wang Tong and the others didn’t understand his words.

After Huang Feiming cursed a bit more, he finally calmed down a little. Seeing his tone not as intense as before, Wang Tong and the others hurriedly bowed and apologized, trying to win Huang Feiming’s forgiveness.

”You don’t need to apologize to me!” Huang Feiming waved his hand and said, ”From the moment you came in, you’ve been bothering Teacher Gu; if you need to apologize, apologize to Teacher Gu. I don’t want to say much; you go ask Teacher Gu yourself. If Teacher Gu forgives you, then let this matter be. If Teacher Gu doesn’t forgive you!”

Huang Feiming said this and fiercely glared at Wang Tong and the others, not continuing further, but his meaning was clear. If Gu Xianping didn’t forgive them, then Huang Feiming would personally trouble them.

Hearing this, Wang Tong and the others finally breathed a sigh of relief and hurriedly apologized to Gu Xianping, hoping he would forgive them.

Gu Xianping, seeing these several people apologizing like this, was a bit at a loss at first, not knowing what to say. He opened his mouth, just about to speak, but Ye Qing suddenly pulled him.

”If you want to apologize to Teacher Gu, you need to show some sincerity!” Ye Qing said first, ”Since everyone is here, there are two things I want a few leaders from the Education Bureau and the schools to answer!”

Wang Jiadong hurriedly said, ”What’s the matter?”

Ye Qing said, ”First, Teacher Gu is a veteran teacher in the school, considering both seniority and ability, he belongs to the elite teachers. I can’t understand why Teacher Gu was fired!”

”Was there such a thing?” Huang Feiming looked at Gu Xianping; he didn’t even know Gu Xianping had been expelled from the school.

Hearing this, Wang Tong and the others were immediately stunned. The matter of Gu Xianping being fired was their doing, trapping Gu Xianping; now how were they to respond?

Seeing Wang Tong and the others not answering, Wang Yuanbo angrily said, ”Didn’t you hear Mr. Ye’s words, speak, how was Teacher Gu fired?”

”This... this...” Wang Tong hesitated for a long while before finally speaking softly, ”He... he hoarded artifacts, violating national regulations, so...”

”You’re slandering me!” Gu Xianping immediately became anxious and said, ”Those are heirlooms passed down in my family; they are my own things, they can’t be considered as hoarding artifacts, I have evidence!”

”Is that so?” Wang Yuanbo frowned, staring coldly at Wang Tong, and said sternly, ”Principal Wang, explain, what’s going on here?”

”This... this...” Wang Tong gaped, and after a long time, he still couldn’t articulate a reason.

Huang Feiming waved his hand and said, ”Old Wang, go back and immediately have someone investigate this matter. Mr. Ye, continue with the second matter!”

Wang Tong and the others all went limp; if this matter were to be investigated, they couldn’t afford the consequences.

Ye Qing coldly stared at Wang Tong and said, ”Teacher Gu’s daughter, Gu Yaqing, unfortunately fell from a building during her school term, nearly losing her life. I heard some students say, it was Principal Wang attempting to molest Gu Yaqing, and Gu Yaqing swore to resist, so she was pushed down by Principal Wang. However, the school’s statement was that she jumped because of theft, not only denying her medical expenses but also labeling her a thief. I want Principal Wang to explain this matter!”
