Urban Martial Saint

Old Huang’s foot hadn’t even reached Ye Qing’s chest when Ye Qing had already kicked back, knocking Old Huang to the ground instead.

”Dare to hit people!”

”Beat him up!”

The security staff nearby immediately roared and rushed over, Ye Qing casually threw the stool leg aside, reached out, and grabbed the foot of the first young man who kicked at him. At the same time, he threw a punch that landed squarely on the young man’s face, causing him to step back, holding his face and wailing incessantly.

As for the other youths, they posed no threat to Ye Qing. Ye Qing knocked down two men, and the remaining three didn’t dare come forward anymore, only watching him from a distance with panic on their faces. These members of the security staff were just small-time thugs; what skills could they really have?

Moreover, those who were truly successful, who would want to work in a school doing this kind of job?

”You... you dare to hit people...” Old Huang, lying on the ground, pointed at Ye Qing and angrily said, ”Call the police, hurry, don’t let him get away!”

The remaining three immediately went to grab their phones, but Ye Qing glared at them and said in a deep voice, ”Whoever dares call the police, I will cripple them first!”

The three of them immediately put their phones back in their pockets, and not a single one dared to make any more moves.

Ye Qing turned around and pulled Lin Peng up. Lin Peng was still extremely agitated, his body trembling incessantly; he had truly been furious just now.

”Are you okay?” Ye Qing asked softly.

Lin Peng shook his head, tears silently falling down; he felt deeply wronged. Looking at Ye Qing, Lin Peng suddenly clenched his teeth and said, ”Brother, I’ll tell you about Xiao Zheng’s situation!”

”You dare say it!” Suddenly, Gong Ping’s voice came from afar, ”If you dare say it, I will expel you!”

Lin Peng jerked off his school uniform and threw it heavily to the ground, yelling, ”I quit school!”

”You... you...” Gong Ping was stupefied, for all he could do was use this as a threat against the students. If someone really decided to drop out, he would be powerless.

Watching Gong Ping coldly, Ye Qing assured Lin Peng, ”Don’t worry. Even if he expels you, I will help you find a better school where you can complete your education completely!”

Overjoyed, Lin Peng asked eagerly, ”Really?”

”Don’t listen to his nonsense!” Gong Ping shouted loudly from a distance, ”Lin Peng, just try saying it. Don’t forget who Hong Mingming’s dad is. If you speak recklessly, you can forget about attending school ever!”

Lin Peng shrank back a bit, but Ye Qing frowned and said in a stern voice, ”Gong, listen carefully. No matter who Hong Mingming’s dad is, it cannot be the reason to expel a student. I wasn’t sure who was right or wrong before, but seeing your actions just now, I believe my brother did nothing wrong.

So, remember, this issue is not only between my brother and Hong Mingming anymore, it’s also between me and your school. If the school doesn’t give me a satisfactory answer, I will not let this matter rest!”

That Ye Qing could say such a thing within the school showed how furious he was. He had not intervened earlier when Old Huang attacked Lin Peng because firstly, Old Huang was a school staff member, and secondly, he wanted to see just how depraved these so-called staff members could be. To his astonishment, their vile conduct, more despicable than street ruffians, disgusted him.

At least ruffians only bully students and extort their money. But if school staff acted like ruffians, they would extort even the parents of the students!

With threats of calling parents and expulsion, who knows how many students suffered, how many parents were extorted!

Unaware of whom he had offended, Gong Ping angrily said, ”You dare speak of Secretary Hong like that, just you wait, I’m calling Secretary Hong right now!”

Ye Qing completely ignored him, turning his head to Lin Peng and asked, ”What exactly happened?”

Lin Peng glanced at Gong Ping, who was making a phone call in the distance, and whispered, ”Brother, he’s really calling Secretary Hong!”

”Don’t be afraid of him!” Ye Qing dismissed with a wave of his hand, ”As long as we are in the right, nobody can do anything to us. If this Secretary Hong is also unreasonable, then I won’t let him off either!”

In the past, Ye Qing didn’t have the means to speak such words, but now things were different. He had Elder Master Ding’s phone number, and anyone considered a friend by Elder Master Ding was certainly not ordinary. Besides, now he also possessed a fortune worth billions, giving him enough capital to stand up to that Secretary Hong.

Seeing Ye Qing so confident, Lin Peng felt much more reassured and said, ”Brother, it’s not Xiao Zheng’s fault at all; it was all Hong Mingming causing trouble.”

Ye Qing looked at Lin Peng and slowly nodded, saying, ”Tell me more specifically.”

”If we’re talking specifics, this matter started about half a month ago,” Lin Peng said to Ye Qing, ”Brother, did you know that a girl jumped off a building at our school half a month ago?”

”That happened?” Ye Qing expressed his surprise, but what did that have to do with Xiao Zheng’s issue?

”It was half a month ago, right over there in that building,” Lin Peng pointed behind Ye Qing.

”Isn’t that an office building?” Ye Qingqi asked.

”It is the office building,” Lin Peng whispered, ”That girl, she jumped from Vice Principal Wang’s office!”

Ye Qing immediately furrowed his brows, things were starting to sound even stranger.

”What exactly happened?” Ye Qing asked gravely.

”The school and the police say that the girl was stealing from Vice Principal Wang’s office when he returned to open the door. She tried to escape through the window, but accidentally fell,” Lin Peng paused before adding, ”But many students are saying that Vice Principal Wang tried to do... that sort of thing to her. She refused, and, having no other choice, jumped from the building...”

”That sort of thing!” Ye Qing’s expression turned icy, a principal capable of such depraved actions was truly infuriating. Ye Qing was also enraged, such behavior was unforgivable!

”Yes, there are quite a few girls at the school who were... who were…” Lin Peng, still just a student, struggled to continue, but his meaning was clear.

Ye Qing frowned deeply and was silent for a moment before asking, ”But what does this have to do with Xiao Zheng?”

”The girl who jumped, Gu Yaqing, had a good relationship with Xiao Zheng,” Lin Peng explained. ”She almost killed someone when she fell. But the school still had the police take her away to investigate the theft, and they didn’t even pay a penny for her medical expenses. Her father was a teacher at the school but was fired later for unknown reasons.

He came to the school specifically for this matter, but security chased him away. Xiao Zheng has been very upset about this, often talks about it in front of the students, has criticized what Vice Principal Wang did a lot... even claiming he would wait for his brother to come back to deal with Vice Principal Wang!”

Ye Qing felt a warmth in his heart. Faced with such a situation, the first person Xiao Zheng thought of was him, suggesting a dependence on his non-biological brother. This was good, after all, they were going to live together in one house going forward.

”What happened next?” Ye Qing asked, ”How did he come into conflict with Hong Mingming?”

Lin Peng whispered, ”Hong Mingming... Hong Mingming is Vice Principal Wang’s nephew...”

It dawned on Ye Qing; it seemed Hong Mingming had heard about Xiao Zheng speaking against Vice Principal Wang behind his back and that’s why he had targeted Xiao Zheng.

Ye Qing asked gravely, ”They said Xiao Zheng pulled a knife at school? Does Xiao Zheng usually carry a knife to school?”

”That’s all nonsense!” Lin Peng urgently said, ”Xiao Zheng and I share a dorm room, we’re very close. He’s a kind-hearted person, always likes to help others. Although he can be impulsive, he wouldn’t bring a knife to school. And the day Hong Mingming came to mess with him, I saw it all.

Hong Mingming brought seven or eight people to our dorm to beat Xiao Zheng alone, and it was Hong who had the knife. Xiao Zheng couldn’t take it anymore and snatched the knife from Hong, slashing another student’s arm. It wasn’t a serious injury, but when the police arrived, without asking questions, they took the severely injured Xiao Zheng to the police station.

Xiao Zheng even tried to resist, but the officer leading the team hit him on the head with a baton, I saw Xiao Zheng was almost knocked out!”

Ye Qing clenched his fists tightly; no wonder Lin Peng said Xiao Zheng was being terribly bullied at school, and no wonder Gong Ping kept stopping Lin Peng from talking about it. Indeed, this matter involved way too many things!

Looking at Ye Qing, Lin Peng said, ”You must be the brother Xiao Zheng was talking about, you... you have to get Xiao Zheng out, he really didn’t do anything wrong...”

”Don’t worry, I won’t let Xiao Zheng suffer any injustice!” Ye Qing slowly lifted his head, looked at the office building opposite them, and said grimly, ”Everything they did to Xiao Zheng, I will make them pay back a hundred, a thousand times over!”

Although Lin Peng didn’t know who exactly Ye Qing was, seeing his resolute gaze, he genuinely believed Ye Qing could accomplish this.

”You go home first, and wait for me to sort this out. Whether you want to continue studying at this school or go to a better one, I can arrange it for you,” Ye Qing patted Lin Peng on the shoulder, ”Thank you, and don’t go back to school these days. It’s not safe for you there until this is settled!”

”Okay!” Lin Peng nodded vigorously, then rushed into the classroom, grabbed some things, and hurriedly went downstairs.

Ye Qing stood outside the classroom and showed no sign of leaving; he was waiting for the police that Gong Ping had called.

Indeed, within less than ten minutes, several police cars rushed into the school. Those cars were even from the county bureau, which was not close to the school, making this the fastest police response in history. It seemed that the matter had reached Secretary Hong’s ears!
