The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1757: Chapter 1757: Asking Shu Yu to Save Someone

Ms. Tao couldn’t be bothered to be angry at Tao Qin at this moment, she rushed to Zhang Clan in a few steps, ”Speak quickly, what happened to Feili?”

Zhang Clan immediately burst into tears, ”Sister-in-law, my child’s father, he was taken away by those damn mountain bandits.”

”What?” Ms. Tao was startled, ”How could this be, why would mountain bandits take him?”

Zhang Clan wiped her tears and sat on the ground, looking utterly miserable, ”It’s our misfortune. That night, the mountain bandits stormed into the county town, burning, killing, and looting everywhere. We were at home, hoping they would leave soon. Who knew they would break into our home and then, then take his father away.”

Ms. Tao swayed, Meng Han stood beside her, couldn’t bear it, and reached out to support her.

Ms. Tao gritted her teeth and asked, ”You’re saying, on the first day the mountain bandits stormed into the county town, on that first night, Feili disappeared? Then why didn’t you come to us? Your brother-in-law went to the Tao Family the next day but saw no one. It’s, it’s been so many days, why are you mentioning it now?”

Zhang Clan’s crying paused, clearly feeling guilty, so when she resumed crying, her voice heightened.

”We had no choice, it was so chaotic outside, how could we dare go out casually. Before he left, my child’s father told me to protect the Tao family’s only offspring. But, as a woman, without a man at home, I didn’t dare stay at home, so I took your nephew to my family on the back street.”

Besides Tao Qin, the Tao Family had another son and a daughter.

After Tao Feili was captured, Zhang Clan was terrified, couldn’t dare stay at home, and took her two children to hide at her family’s place.

”My family also kept me inside, not letting me go out freely. We live so far from the Meng Family’s escort agency, what if something happens on the way, what will happen to my children? I only heard this morning that it’s safe outside, so I dared return with the children.”

In fact, she heard yesterday that the mountain bandits were caught, and people outside started to move about.

But Zhang Clan was timid and waited another day.

”I only found out when I got home that Ah Qin had returned, injured, saying you—” Facing the gaze of the Meng family, Zhang Clan ultimately did not voice her complaints. She began crying again, ”Ah Qin said, Eldest Sister’s uncle and nephew went to rescue people and successfully saved the brother-in-law, but she didn’t see her father. Eldest Sister, his father is definitely still in the mountain bandits’ hands, please let your uncle and nephew help rescue them.”

Ms. Tao was stunned, she instinctively turned to Shu Yu.

Because the people who went to the black market were Meng Pei and Meng Yunzheng, along with Shu Yu.

Now Meng Yunzheng was out of town, and Meng Pei had gone out at dawn to handle matters.

At this moment, Shu Yu was the only one who knew the inside story.

Ms. Tao opened her mouth, she was hesitant to confront Shu Yu, but her concern for her brother’s safety prevailed.

So, she rushed over to Shu Yu and asked urgently, ”Shu Yu, do you, do you know where Ah Han’s uncle is now? Is he still in the bandits’ hands? You have a lot of people under you now, is it possible to help rescue him?”

Meng Han was incredulous, ”Mother, what are you saying? That is the bandit’s lair.”
