School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 157: Chapter 179: Crazy Street Racing (Part 2)

Jiang Xiaomi glanced at Chen Nan, who was racing alongside her, so furious that steam seemed to pour from her seven orifices, and her nose was about to twist with anger. She simply couldn’t understand how this guy dared to drive so fast around the corners, overtaking on the bends—was he not afraid of flipping into a ditch?

He’s completely reckless, so utterly reckless!

Thinking this, Jiang Xiaomi frantically slammed the gas pedal, trying to shake off Chen Nan, but he clung to her like a sticky candy, impossible to throw off and even looked like he was about to overtake her.

”You dead animal! Get the hell behind me!”

Jiang Xiaomi was going crazy, roaring furiously.

However, Chen Nan just smirked at her and said, ”Little Jiang girl, you’re running so fast, aren’t you scared? Look at you, breaking out in a cold sweat. Why don’t you just admit defeat? Stop trying to be tough. If you flip into a ditch and lose your life, it won’t be good.”

Jiang Xiaomi ignored him, grinding her teeth and holding on.

She pressed down hard on the gas pedal, telling herself not to pay attention to this beast; he’s a pervert, an animal!

”Little girl, are you so bent on seeking death?” Chen Nan sighed and said, ”Look at you, your clothes are soaked with sweat, and you have the top down on your car. What if you catch a cold? Just admit defeat; I won’t make it difficult for you.”

Jiang Xiaomi clenched her teeth so hard they made a grating sound, and she couldn’t tolerate it anymore. She glared at Chen Nan and roared: ”Shut up, bastard, shut up! Mind your own business and get lost; don’t distract me from driving!”

Jiang Xiaomi was beyond frustrated. On this mountain road, she was already scared enough, but this guy kept on irritating her non-stop, making it impossible for her to concentrate on driving. She found him utterly loathsome.

If he couldn’t overtake, he wanted to distract her. Was there anyone more despicable than him in the world?

The more Jiang Xiaomi thought about it, the angrier she became. She kept her foot down on the gas pedal, drifting repeatedly with grim determination. If it weren’t for Chen Nan pushing her, she would never dare to drive this fast.

”Little girl, I hadn’t really noticed before, but you’re quite pretty. How about we stop racing and have a nice talk about life instead? We could have a good time in the car. You have a great figure; it must be incredibly thrilling to play with.”

”Ahh! Ahhh!”

Hearing such shameless words, Jiang Xiaomi screamed in anger, glared fiercely at Chen Nan, and yelled, ”Stay away from me, you dead beast, or I’ll crash into you and kill you!”

Chen Nan pointed ahead, ”Why are you staring at me? Watch the road. There’s a sharp turn coming up. Do you want to die?”

A sharp turn?

Hearing this, Jiang Xiaomi was startled and quickly looked ahead.

However, when she clearly saw the road ahead, a spark of inspiration flashed in her eyes, and she felt a surge of elation.

The section of road known as Devil’s Eighteen Bends was coming up, and Jiang Xiaomi had raced here many times before. She thought to herself, based on her familiarity with this road, was she still afraid of not being able to shake off this beast?

Ha-ha, my chance has come!

Since there was a sharp curve ahead, Jiang Xiaomi naturally had to slow down for the turn. However, what shocked her was that Chen Nan, who was beside her, did not slow down at all but instead sped up.

”Little Jiang girl, remember the agreement we just made. Don’t go back on your word,” Chen Nan said with a grin, then he floored the gas pedal, and the acceleration of his car surged instantly.

”You...”

Before Jiang Xiaomi could finish her sentence, she saw Chen Nan’s car suddenly overtake her and charge forward.

”You’re out of your mind!”

Jiang Xiaomi shouted from behind, as Chen Nan was about to reach the first bend. Yet it seemed he had no intention of slowing down. Jiang Xiaomi was taken aback by the fright; she’d seen lunatics before, but never one as insanely reckless as this.

Crazy, absolutely crazy, this maniac has lost it!

At this rate, the beast will probably have to look for people in the mountain ditches.

Just when Jiang Xiaomi thought Chen Nan was more likely dead than alive, suddenly a piercing sound of tire friction filled the air.

”Screeeeech... ”

Thick white smoke enveloped the road as Chen Nan’s car, hugging the edge of the roadside drainage ditch, miraculously didn’t fly off the highway. Moreover, he drifted around the bend in a move that could only be described as textbook perfection.

”How... How is that possible!”

Jiang Xiaomi was dumbfounded, staring idiotically ahead as she swallowed dryly, her throat feeling parched.

If she hadn’t seen it with her own eyes, Jiang Xiaomi would never have believed that anyone could drift through Devil’s Eighteen Bends at such a breakneck speed!

After drifting through several bends one after another, the Devil’s Eighteen Bends finally came to an end. Chen Nan slightly reduced his speed, keeping Jiang Xiaomi behind him and laughed, ”Little girl, admit defeat?”

”I admit your sister! Shut up, for I will definitely overtake you!” Jiang Xiaomi retorted angrily.

”You won’t beat me in your next life. Remember not to play dirty later, or I won’t accompany you anymore.”

Chen Nan laughed heartily, stepping on the accelerator and rocketing towards the mountain summit. Having reached the top, he slowed down, performed a drift to turn around and headed back down the mountain, meeting Jiang Xiaomi head-on as she charged up from below.

”Beast, you’ve lost for sure!”

Seeing Chen Nan turning around to run back, Jiang Xiaomi, unwilling to accept defeat, cheatily decided not to go to the summit at all. She drifted halfway through and sped down the mountain.

”Damn, could you be any more despicable?”

Watching Jiang Xiaomi’s car in front of him, Chen Nan cursed incessantly. Although it was a downhill stretch, instead of braking, he floored the gas pedal even harder, chasing after Jiang Xiaomi ferociously.

Jiang Xiaomi also lightly pressed on the gas, ignoring Chen Nan’s cursing, thinking arrogantly to herself: Since Qingqing can’t see me from below, as long as I get back down the mountain first, I’ll have won, hmph!

However, just as this thought flashed through her mind, she saw a flash of red light and heard the roar of an engine whiz past her side. Chen Nan had surged past from the side at such incredible speed; it was truly like lightning.

”Freak, you dead freak!”

Jiang Xiaomi pounded the steering wheel, screaming in frustration, but there was nothing she could do. She didn’t dare drive at the breakneck speed Chen Nan was going. She could only watch as the back of his car grew farther and farther away, until even his taillights were no longer visible.

”Beast, swine, monster, inhuman!”

Jiang Xiaomi muttered through gritted teeth. By the time she reached the bottom of the mountain, Chen Nan was already parked, smilingly watching her. ”Jiang Xiaomi, now that Qingqing is here to witness, you’re not going to cheat again, are you?”

Jiang Xiaomi felt incredibly frustrated inside. She had wanted to show off her driving skills and get revenge, but now it seemed less like punishing Chen Nan and more like subjecting herself to torment, the pitiful kind that left one battered and bruised.

I can’t accept this!

Jiang Xiaomi clenched her teeth in secret frustration. But the race was already lost, and what could being discontented do? Cheating once was embarrassing enough; surely she couldn’t cheat again.
