School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 310: Chapter 354: The Kidnapper’s Call

Chen Nan shrugged his shoulders, ready to tease her a bit, but before he could speak, his phone rang.

It was a call from Su Yixuan!

”Hello...”

”Chen Nan, it’s bad, you need to come back, something big has happened!” As soon as the call connected, Su Yixuan’s anxious voice came through.

Chen Nan frowned slightly, ”What happened? Calm down and tell me.”

”It’s Qingqing, Qingqing has had an accident!” Su Yixuan was so anxious she was almost crying, ”She’s been kidnapped!”

”What!?”

Chen Nan was shocked and sprang up from the sofa, ”Who did it?”

”I don’t know.” Su Yixuan’s voice was filled with helplessness, ”This morning, she went out to buy snacks with Tiantian, and they haven’t come back since. I got a call earlier; the voice seemed to be from a middle-aged man, he said that Qingqing and Tiantian were in their hands.”

”What then?” Chen Nan asked, ”Did he mention any demands?”

”No, he just threatened me not to call the police, or else he would kill them. He didn’t say anything else, just hung up. When I called back, his phone was already switched off,” Su Yixuan said anxiously, ”Where exactly are you? Hurry back!”

”Don’t panic, I’ll be right there,” Chen Nan reassured her, ”Don’t worry, those kidnappers probably just want money, they won’t harm anyone.”

”Okay, but hurry up.”

After ending the call, Chen Nan told Lan Yuqin, ”I have an emergency, I need to go,” and then turned and ran towards the entrance.

”Hey, what exactly happened?”

”It’s nothing, just a small issue with a friend of mine. I’ll take care of it quickly,” Chen Nan didn’t mention Qingqing’s kidnapping because even if he did, Lan Yuqin couldn’t help and would just get anxious as well.

”Hey, be clear when you speak, hey, hey, hey...”

Lan Yuqin was still calling out from behind, but Chen Nan had already opened the door and dashed out, disappearing from sight.

Chen Nan moved swiftly, on the main road, whether it was a sedan or a sports car, he left them all behind.

In just two minutes, he returned to the Su family villa.

Rushing into the hall, he saw Su Yixuan pacing anxiously, like ants on a hot pan, her pale face still showing some tear stains. Since their parents died in a car accident, the sisters had only had each other to rely on. Now that her sister was kidnapped and her life threatened, how could she not be anxious?

If teleportation were possible, Su Yixuan would even be willing to trade places with her sister to endure it all.

Meanwhile, on the sofa on the other side, Eastern Yun Fei was also anxiously holding her phone, continuously trying to dial the kidnapper’s number, but she couldn’t get through.

”Any new clues?” Chen Nan rushed in and asked.

Seeing Chen Nan return, Su Yixuan excitedly ran over, ”No clues, do you have a way? Please, save them, I’m really worried.”

Seeing Su Yixuan crying with anxiety, Chen Nan patted her shoulder, ”Don’t panic. Since the kidnappers have taken them, they must have a purpose. As long as we do as they wish, they definitely won’t harm the hostages.”

”But I have no idea what those kidnappers want; they didn’t tell me anything!” Su Yixuan said excitedly.

”Calm down, let me think.”

Chen Nan rubbed his temples and after a moment of silence, said, ”Kidnappers take hostages, usually for money. If they wanted to harm Qingqing, they would have done so already, there’s no need to take hostages. By not telling you their demands now, they want to make you anxious, to break you down, so that you’ll agree to whatever they ask for in the end.”

Su Yixuan gradually calmed down, ”You seem to make some sense.”

”So, just relax,” Chen Nan said.

Although Chen Nan was anxious himself, he didn’t show it on his face and said, ”It won’t be long before the kidnappers call back again.”

”I hope your guess is not wrong.” Su Yixuan’s voice was somewhat hoarse, ”If anything happens to Qingqing, I won’t want to live either.”

”You mustn’t think like that, Yixuan,” Chen Nan chided himself inwardly, ”It’s all my fault. If I had been by her side, this wouldn’t have happened.”

Su Yixuan didn’t say a word.

Indeed, she did blame Chen Nan a little in her heart; she had specifically hired him to be her sister’s bodyguard, yet at the most critical moment, he wasn’t there to protect her!

Chen Nan turned his head to look at Yun Fei, ”You’re great with computers, aren’t you? Can you locate someone’s mobile phone signal?”

”Of course!”

Yun Fei nodded, ”But the other party has turned off their phone now, I can’t track them.”

”Don’t worry, just keep an eye on that number. As soon as they switch it on, immediately locate them,” Chen Nan said. ”As long as we can pinpoint their exact location, everything else will be easy.”

”Alright, I’ll listen to you this time.”

Yun Fei nodded in agreement and opened her computer.

...

As time ticked by, after a full two hours had passed, Su Yixuan was almost frantic when her phone finally rang again. It was a completely unfamiliar number.

”It must be the kidnapper!”

Chen Nan glanced at Yun Fei, ”Forget the previous number, track this one quickly.”

”Okay!”

As Yun Fei typed on the keyboard, Su Yixuan also answered the call.

”Ms. Su, how have these two hours been for you? Have you enjoyed the thrill of life?” A middle-aged man’s laughter came from the other end of the line.

”You devil, what exactly do you want?” Su Yixuan roared, ”As long as you don’t harm them, I’ll agree to any condition.”

”What I want, you really can’t give.”

The middle-aged man laughed brazenly, saying, ”Is Chen Nan there? Let him take the phone.”

Chen Nan frowned and took the phone, cutting straight to the chase, ”What do you want? Name your conditions.”

”Don’t be so impatient. The game has just started, after all. We should thoroughly enjoy the process of this game, don’t you think?” The middle-aged man laughed, ”It’s getting late, and I’m a bit hungry, I’m going to get something to eat, we can continue our chat later.”

”Wait a minute! What exactly do you want?”

Chen Nan’s tone grew more forceful, but the ”beep beep beep” of a disconnected call answered him. By the time he called back, the other party had switched off their phone again.

”Damn it!”

Chen Nan put down the phone, looking towards Yun Fei, ”How did it go?”

Yun Fei shook her head, ”The robber is too cunning. I was just about to track him, but he switched off the phone. The signal was interrupted; it was all in vain.”

”That bastard!”

Chen Nan clenched his fist, understanding that the other party was deliberately making them anxious as a psychological tactic.

”He’s so quick to turn off the phone, definitely on guard against us locating him,” Chen Nan said to Yun Fei. ”He’ll probably call again later, but your tracking method involves password decryption, which is too complicated. We must use more advanced tracking methods.”

Yun Fei was startled, ”What do you mean?”

”I’ll make a phone call.” Chen Nan walked into his room and dialed an encrypted number, ”Poison Wolf, I need a favor...”
