School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 335: Chapter 382: Talking about the Lotus Platform with Su Yixuan

After taking a bath and having dinner, it was already half past ten at night.

The women had turned off the TV and were preparing to go back to their rooms to sleep, and Chen Nan naturally returned to his room as well.

After looking at the half of the Silver Bell Rope he had grabbed from his junior martial sister for a while, Chen Nan placed it beside his pillow, ready to undress and go to sleep, when someone knocked on his door—

”Chen Nan, are you asleep?”

It was the voice of Su Yixuan.

Chen Nan’s heart leaped with excitement, and he quickly jumped out of bed, thinking it must be Su Qingqing asking him about the Jade Lotus Platform on her behalf.

”Not asleep!”

Chen Nan opened the door, and Su Yixuan walked in.

”Click...”

With a crisp sound, Su Yixuan locked the door behind her after entering, which made Chen Nan’s wicked heart flutter with wild thoughts. Could it be that this girl was planning on making a move?

”You had Qingqing come ask me, right?” Su Yixuan said.

Chen Nan knew she was referring to the Jade Lotus Platform and nodded, ”Yes, I asked her to inquire.”

”Why didn’t you ask me yourself?”

”This...”

Chen Nan scratched his head, smiled sheepishly, and said nothing.

He just felt that since Su Yixuan had already agreed to help him, it was somewhat embarrassing to rush her. He did not expect that she would bring up the topic directly. Knowing this, there was really no need for him to ask Su Qingqing for help.

”I know you feel embarrassed to rush me, so you had Qingqing ask on your behalf,” Su Yixuan said with a smile, ”Do you think that deep down, I don’t really want to lend you the Jade Lotus Platform?”

After a moment of silence, Chen Nan nodded.

Since Su Yixuan was putting it so bluntly, there was no need for him to hold back either.

Su Yixuan sat down in the computer chair and sighed, ”Honestly, I don’t really want to help you borrow the Jade Lotus Platform. You know why, right?”

”Because of Qingqing?”

”Exactly!” Su Yixuan nodded, ”She’s my only sister, and I don’t want to see her unhappy. You might not know, but when you went to Fire Qilin Mountain to find your junior martial sister a few days ago, she was distracted and down all day long. I’ve never seen her like that before.”

Chen Nan remained silent.

After looking at him, Su Yixuan continued, ”Right now, she’s smitten with you. Only when she’s with you is she happy and joyful. I know that even if I don’t lend you the Jade Lotus Platform, I can’t keep you here forever. With your martial arts skills, it wouldn’t be difficult for you to take it by force.”

Chen Nan lit a cigarette and went to open the window.

Leaning against the window, he took a drag, ”Qingqing is a good girl. If I had met her before my junior martial sister, I would definitely have fallen for her. But life doesn’t work with what-ifs. I hope you can understand.”

”I understand very well!”

Su Yixuan nodded and said, ”Things like love can’t be forced. Your junior martial sister needs a month to recover, right? There’s still more than ten days left. All I’m asking is that you spend the next ten days or so with Qingqing, trying to help her move past these feelings that shouldn’t be. Regardless of how it goes after that time, I will lend you the Jade Lotus Platform.”

Chen Nan hesitated for a moment before saying, ”But what if she can’t move on and only gets deeper into it?”

”I know that’s a large possibility, but I can’t bear to see her being so sad. At this point, we can only take it one step at a time,” Su Yixuan told him, ”Besides, even if your junior martial sister gets better, you don’t necessarily have to leave, right?”

”I promised Qingqing that as long as my junior martial sister agrees, I will stay in Ningjiang City,” Chen Nan said.

”I’m a businessperson, and I like to deal with things in a businesslike manner,” Su Yixuan said, ”To put it bluntly, let’s consider this arrangement a transaction. You do your best to help her move on from this romance during this time, and no matter the outcome, I will get the Jade Lotus Platform for you.”

”I’ll do my best.”

Chen Nan nodded in agreement.

Since Su Yixuan was being so straightforward, there was no need for him to beat around the bush. After all, he, too, hoped for Su Qingqing to be happy.

”Alright then, get some rest early. I should go back to my room to sleep as well.”

Watching Su Yixuan’s retreating figure disappear, Chen Nan closed the door and lay on the bed, his mind beginning to worry.

Su Qingqing liked him—how should he guide her? He couldn’t just bluntly tell her not to fancy him, could he? That would be far too cruel! But if he didn’t say that, what else could he do?

Just then, the sudden sound of a ringtone interrupted Chen Nan’s thoughts.

Pulling out his phone to look, Chen Nan’s brows immediately knitted together. This woman had called again!
