School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 324: Chapter 368 Assassination

Hearing Chen Nan’s words, Ye Yiyi’s expression panicked, but she quickly calmed down, ”I’ve always been like this, what’s different about me?”

Chen Nan was silent for a while before he shook his head and said, ”It just feels a bit different, I can’t exactly explain it, it might just be my illusion! By the way, how did you get out of the Big Formation? Tell me in detail!”

”This...”

Ye Yiyi seemed somewhat reluctant, shaking her head, ”This is quite complicated, I will tell you later, let’s talk about happy things since we’ve finally reunited.”

Chen Nan held her with his right arm and stroked her smooth long hair with his left hand, ”Do you still remember when we were little, how we went to touch the tiger’s butt?”

Ye Yiyi’s face showed a hint of confusion, and then she quickly nodded, ”Of course I remember!”

Chen Nan had been watching her all along, and naturally, he saw the changes in her expression, so he asked in a questioning tone, ”Be honest, did you forget?”

”How could I? Such a happy memory, I will never forget it in my life.”

”You better not forget.” Chen Nan teased her by gently scraping her delicate nose with his thumb and then kissed her on her snow-white cheek, before taking out some papers and said with a smile, ”Look, what is this?”

Ye Yiyi looked at him quizzically and took the papers to unfold them.

”When will the mutual longing cease, this moment this night is so unbearable.”

After reading the verse on the paper, Ye Yiyi looked at Chen Nan with confusion, ”Did you write this?”

Chen Nan’s brows gradually furrowed.

These papers, she had taken from her junior sister’s desk on Fire Qilin mountain before; they were her junior sister’s own handwritten notes, how could she not recognize her own handwriting?

”Have another careful look.” Chen Nan said.

”It’s... it must be mine, right?” Ye Yiyi chuckled, ”I think about you so much that I’m going crazy, I can’t remember some things clearly.”

Chen Nan gently pinched her cheek and said with a smile, ”Haven’t you always had a great memory, even better than mine, how come you’re suffering from amnesia now?”

”This...”

Ye Yiyi’s expression was somewhat unusual, and she glared at him, ”It’s all because I miss you so much that my brain started to age prematurely, and my memory is getting worse and worse.”

”Do you think I’m a three-year-old kid? So easy to deceive?” Chen Nan said with a chuckle, tapping her head gently, ”I’m very clear about your memory, be honest, have you encountered something during this time?”

After a moment of silence, Ye Yiyi said, ”Actually, it’s because I was injured by the power of the Formation when I forced my way out of the Array, that’s why I’ve been like this.”

”You were injured?”

Chen Nan quickly grabbed her wrist and felt her pulse, ”Where is the injury? Is it serious?”

”It’s nothing, just some damage to my previous memories.” Ye Yiyi shook her head and smiled.

Chen Nan pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly, ”You silly girl, if you were healed, you should have just waited in the Formation, I’ve already learned the whereabouts of the White Jade Lotus Platform, why did you force yourself out? Luckily, it wasn’t a critical injury!”

Ye Yiyi’s eyes flashed with a sly triumph, and she said, ”Isn’t it because I missed you too much? Once I think of you, I have no other thoughts, let alone a little injury, even if I risk my life, I don’t care.”

”But I care!”

Chen Nan held her hands tightly, staring at her, ”Promise me, no more recklessness in the future, understand?”

”Mhm mhm!”

Ye Yiyi nodded vigorously.

A bell rang, Chen Nan’s mobile phone was ringing, a call from Zhao Dongshan.

”Bro, our celebration feast is about to start, how come you still haven’t arrived?” asked Zhao Dongshan.

Only then did Chen Nan remember that he had agreed to attend a banquet at the Jiang family with Zhao Dongshan that morning, and he said with a laugh, ”Bro, I’ve got something urgent right now and really can’t leave, I won’t be able to join you for drinks today, I’ll treat you next time!”

”Well, alright then!” Zhao Dongshan said with a laugh, ”You said it, don’t forget to treat me to a drink next time.”

”No problem.”

Chen Nan hung up the phone.

Being invited to dinner was usually a good thing, but at the moment, Chen Nan was too preoccupied to care. To him, spending time with his junior sister was the top priority.

Forget about dinner, not even mountains of gold and silver could make him trade places!

”You agreed to someone’s dinner invitation and then bailed just like that?” Ye Yiyi said with a laugh.

Chen Nan planted a kiss on her face, ”Even the finest food and drink can’t compare to having you by my side.”

”Why do you keep kissing me?” Ye Yiyi gently pushed him away, her eyes carrying a trace of grievance, ”You big bully.”

”I’ve only kissed you twice, don’t you want me to kiss you anymore?” Chen Nan held her tight in his arms, whispering into her ear, ”I could kiss you for a lifetime and it still wouldn’t be enough. You’ll never escape from the palm of my hand.”

Ye Yiyi retorted coquettishly, ”Kissing me without my permission—who gave you the right to be so domineering? I need to punish you!”

Chen Nan touched his nose and smiled, ”What kind of punishment?”

Ye Yiyi’s eyes twinkled as she said, ”I want you to hold me in your sleep tonight, but you’re not allowed to do anything more than that.”

”That’s not a punishment, that’s a reward if you ask me.”

”So, do you agree or not?”

Chen Nan nodded vigorously, ”Agreed, of course, I agree. Anyone who doesn’t agree is a fool.”

”Look at how proud you are,” Ye Yiyi said with a smile. ”But let me make it clear, you can only hold me in your sleep, no other actions allowed.”

Chen Nan grinned, ”What do you mean by other actions? What are you referring to?”

”I...”

Ye Yiyi was at a loss for words, her cheeks turning a shade of red as she lightly punched Chen Nan in the chest, ”You bad egg, I’m not talking to you anymore!”

”Whether you talk to me or not, you’ll be mine for life, and you can’t escape,” he declared.

”Who said I’m yours?” she protested.

”I did!” Chen Nan said. ”I’m your senior brother, and you must follow my orders. If I say you’re mine, then you’re mine. Understand?”

”What a tyrant,” Ye Yiyi rolled her eyes. ”I’ve had a long day, I’m so sleepy. Shall we go to bed?”

”Sure, let’s sleep!”

While speaking, Chen Nan lay down on the bed, holding her in his arms.

Holding his beloved junior sister in his sleep filled Chen Nan with an unprecedented excitement.

He had thought this day was still far off, yet his junior sister had returned to him out of her own will—such a delightful surprise!

Perhaps because he was in such good spirits, Chen Nan quickly fell asleep with his junior sister in his arms.

”Senior brother, are you asleep?”

Around nine o’clock that evening, Ye Yiyi, who had been feigning sleep, opened her eyes.

Chen Nan did not respond.

After tentatively calling out again, Ye Yiyi gently removed Chen Nan’s hand that was around her, and moved away from his embrace.

Staring at Chen Nan, who was sound asleep, her eyes gradually filled with malicious intent, devoid of any affection. She swiftly pulled out a dagger from her bosom and viciously stabbed toward Chen Nan’s chest!

The force was fierce, brutal, and utterly merciless!
