School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 341: Chapter 388 Making a Scene

Superb skills!

Chen Nan couldn’t help but recall how Su Qingqing had said the same thing before, yet the dishes she made were somewhat inedible...

”As long as you don’t cook like Su Qingqing, it’s fine.”

Han Yuting asked in confusion, ”What’s wrong with Qingqing’s cooking?”

”Three words, inedible!”

Chen Nan pointed at the kitchen and laughed, ”Come on, it looks quite tough cooking alone, so I, as the young master, will show some mercy today and help you out.”

”Hah, ’young master’ my foot!” Han Yuting pouted. ”You really are a rich second generation, no wonder you’re so wealthy.”

Chen Nan gave a wry smile and shook his head without saying anything.

Calling him a rich second generation was far off the mark; he wasn’t even a poor second generation, since he was an orphan and didn’t even know who his father was.

Han Yuting seemed to notice something off about his expression and asked in confusion, ”Why such a bitter smile? Aren’t you a rich second generation?”

”I wish I were, but sadly I don’t even have parents.”

Han Yuting pouted, ”Who are you kidding? If you have no parents, then how did you come into this world?”

No sooner had she spoken these words than she regretted them.

She realized that when Chen Nan said he had no parents, he didn’t mean what she was thinking, but that he might be an orphan. If that were true, Han Yuting felt her words were like rubbing salt in his wounds.

”I popped out of a crack in a rock,” Chen Nan said with a laugh.

He had asked his master who his parents were and where they were, but Xuan Tianji always threw the same line at him: ”You sprang out of a crack in a rock, no parents!”

Over time, Chen Nan stopped asking because he knew that dead old man wouldn’t talk about things he didn’t want to, and asking was pointless.

Hearing this, Han Yuting was even more convinced that he was an orphan and quickly changed the subject, ”You just said you’d help me cook, can you actually cook?”

Chen Nan looked visibly annoyed, ”Miss, you can insult my intelligence, you can belittle my character, you can even violate my body, but you can’t doubt my ability.”

Violate his body...

Han Yuting rolled her eyes speechless, feeling the urge to smash the bok choy in her hand over his head.

”Violate your head, since you said you want to help, then I won’t be polite, help me wash the veggies.”

”As I said, you can’t doubt my ability.” Chen Nan stood tall and defiant, ”Letting me take over the cooking is one thing, but making me wash veggies is even worse than violating my body!”

Han Yuting was exasperated, ”Do you believe I’ll smack this bok choy on your face?”

”I don’t!”

Chen Nan chuckled, ”I’m so handsome, would you have the heart...”

”Pfft—”

Before he could finish, Han Yuting ripped off a cabbage leaf and threw it at his face, then blinked and, looking at a distressed Chen Nan, triumphantly said, ”You didn’t believe it yourself, so I had to prove it through action. This is called, ’you won’t die if you don’t seek death’.”

Chen Nan was speechless; obviously, he had asked for it!

”Sis, looking at how gentle and graceful you are, I didn’t expect you to be so fierce.” Chen Nan sighed deeply, ”It seems, today I, as the young master, must act selflessly and vanquish the demon.”

Han Yuting was stunned for a moment, not catching on, but just then—

”Splash...”

Chen Nan scooped up a handful of water from the vegetable washing basin and poured it directly onto her face, drenching Han Yuting, who screamed ”Ah” and hurriedly closed her eyes.

”Miss Han, doesn’t that feel very refreshing?” Chen Nan said with a smile.

Han Yuting opened her eyes, puffed up with anger as she glared at him, then suddenly plunged her hands into the basin, scooping up a handful of water and laughing gleefully as she tried to splash Chen Nan. However, Chen Nan merely shifted slightly to the side and dodged it, his smile growing even brighter, ”Miss Han, your Kung Fu isn’t good enough!”

”You jerk, how dare you dodge, let’s see how I’ll splash you.”

Han Yuting seemed more interested now, speaking while her delicate and fair hands swiftly splashed water at Chen Nan.

She splashed once, then again, repeating the motion incessantly.

At first, Chen Nan managed to dodge, but gradually, Han Yuting increased her pace, and with water splashing everywhere, he had no place to hide and quickly scrambled towards the living room.

”Don’t run, you big jerk.”

Han Yuting laughed joyfully, and quickly picked up the bucket, splashing and chasing after him.

Seeing Han Yuting chasing with the bucket, Chen Nan had no choice but to run, rounding a corner to hide behind a sofa, where he crouched down, leaving only his head exposed, ”Miss Han, the campus belle, mind your image, don’t splash.”

”Begging for mercy now? It’s already too late, I’m not letting you escape being drenched.”

Han Yuting, carrying the bucket, chased after him, giggling as her slender hands ceaselessly splashed water on Chen Nan. She hadn’t felt this happy in a long time; fooling around with Chen Nan brought a blissful flavor to her heart.

”As the campus belle, you should maintain your grace, being so aggressive isn’t right.”

Seeing the water splashing towards him, Chen Nan stood up, ready to flee, but just at that moment, he noticed a low stool in front of Han Yuting. She was too busy splashing and playing to notice it on the ground, and it seemed she was about to trip over it.

”Hey, hey, hey, stop, watch out for the stool, the stool!”

Chen Nan shouted pointing at the ground, but it was already too late. By the time Han Yuting reacted, her foot had already struck the stool, and she couldn’t stop herself.

”Ah!”

Han Yuting screamed, about to fall face-forward to the ground, when Chen Nan quickly rushed forward, grabbed her waist, and held her in his arms.

”Clang clang...”

The stainless steel bucket fell to the ground, making a crisp sound, and the water inside it splashed all over the place.

Chen Nan embraced her, spinning in place to dissipate the force of her onslaught. But because he held her so tightly, when they stopped, they were face to face, their faces nearly touching.

Seeing the panicked look on Han Yuting’s beautiful face, which had turned somewhat pale with fright, and the water droplets that had not yet been dried adding a unique charm to her beauty, Chen Nan gazed at her dumbly, unable to snap out of it for a moment.

There had been a time, while playing by the stream on the mountain, he had held his junior sister just like this. Although they were both very young then and didn’t understand what love was, that heartbeat he felt was something he could never forget.

After her initial panic, Han Yuting also secretly relieved a sigh.

Looking at Chen Nan, who was staring at her unblinkingly, her heart seemed to speed up several times.

Why is he looking at me like that?

Han Yuting felt a bit nervous, unaware that Chen Nan was thinking about another woman.

Looking into his deep, affectionate eyes, Han Yuting slowly closed her eyes, tiptoed slightly, and her pink lips moved forward to kiss Chen Nan.
