School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 156: Chapter 178: Crazy Street Racing (Part 1)

Glancing at Jiang Xiaomi, whose face was full of hostility, Chen Nan tilted his head, too lazy to pay her any attention.

In his view, this chick was simply crazy, a lunatic, and her condition was even more severe than Qin Yixuan’s.

Feeling ignored, Jiang Xiaomi was furious. She stormed up to Chen Nan in three steps, pointed at his nose, and said, ”You dead beast surnamed Chen, how dare you ignore me!”

”Why can’t I ignore you? Are we close or something?” Chen Nan asked.

Jiang Xiaomi’s chest heaved violently with rage, her eyes shooting fire as she stared at Chen Nan, and through gritted teeth, she said, ”I’ve had a grudge with you for more than a day or two. If you have the guts, settle it with me today!”

”Settle it how?”

Jiang Xiaomi held her head high, somewhat smugly, ”Race cars! If you’ve got the guts, race against me and see if I don’t beat you to a pulp!”

”Why should I race against you?” Chen Nan shrugged, completely disregarding her challenge.

Seeing Chen Nan’s indifferent expression, Jiang Xiaomi almost exploded. She felt so frustrated, like throwing a punch with all her might into cotton, without any point of impact.

”Not even daring to race cars, are you even a man?”

Jiang Xiaomi sneered. She had thought that after saying this, Chen Nan would definitely not be able to resist, but to her dismay, Chen Nan glanced at his crotch and asked, ”Do you want me to take off my pants and prove it to you?”

”You pervert!”

Jiang Xiaomi shouted, glaring at him, ”You don’t have the courage to race me, you’re just a coward, a weakling!”

”You’re wrong. I’m not lacking courage, it’s just that I don’t condescend to race with you.” Chen Nan glanced at her and said, ”Have you forgotten? Last time on the basketball court, we made a bet, and you lost but didn’t keep your word. Someone who doesn’t keep their promises like you doesn’t deserve to race with me.”

”I...”

Jiang Xiaomi opened her mouth but didn’t know how to retort.

Chen Nan was right. They had made a bet last time, and she was supposed to run laps on the track with her bra on her head if she lost, but she backed out.

”What ’I’? You just reneged on losing, with terrible gambling integrity that falls apart, and still you have the cheek to race with me?” Chen Nan sighed, ”If I were you, I would be too ashamed to show my face, better off hiding in a corner, like a turtle hiding its head, invisible to anyone.”

Jiang Xiaomi clenched her fists so tight, her teeth were nearly shattered, ”You dead beast, how dare you mock me!”

”Did I mock you? It’s the truth!”

”Pfft!”

Jiang Xiaomi angrily spat out her gum and snapped, ”This time I absolutely won’t back out. If you have the guts, race me just once!”

”Fine, it doesn’t hurt to beat you once more,” Chen Nan said. ”But what shall we bet? Let’s skip the distasteful stuff from last time, so you won’t back out again.”

Jiang Xiaomi was silent for a moment, annoyed, ”If you lose, you have to call me Big Sis from now on, and do whatever I tell you to do. You’ll listen to all my orders. If I lose, I’ll call you Brother, same terms, hmph!”

”I don’t even want a sister like you!” Chen Nan glanced at her, ”If you dare to renege this time, I won’t hesitate to make your butt bloom.”

Jiang Xiaomi pointed at Su Qingqing, grumbling, ”There’s a witness here, what’s there for you to panic about!”

Su Qingqing was leisurely sitting on the hood of the car, enjoying the sight of their argument while cracking open sunflower seeds contentedly.

”Finally done arguing?”

Jumping down from the car, Su Qingqing added fuel to the fire, saying, ”Hurry up and race, I’ll be the judge. No one is allowed to cheat. Jiang Xiaomi, you race him first, and we’ll start ours later.”

”If it’s a race, I’ll utterly crush him without breaking a sweat!”

Jiang Xiaomi gave Chen Nan a disdainful look, then got into her car and said, ”We’ll take this winding road up and down the mountain, a total of four kilometers. We’ll go there and back, and whoever returns first wins.”

”Race however you want, just don’t cheat,” Chen Nan also got into his car.

The two drivers positioned their cars on the same starting line, with Su Qingqing standing in front of both cars, raising her hand, ”I’ll count to three, then we start running, ready... three!”

No sooner had Su Qingqing finished speaking than Jiang Xiaomi’s car roared to life, bursting forward in an instant.

Chen Nan was still dumbstruck and hadn’t recovered his wits. That sneaky girl was too cunning—skipping one and two and jumping straight to three. She must have plotted this with Jiang Xiaomi to mess with him.

”I despise you!”

Giving an angry middle finger to Su Qingqing outside the car, Chen Nan slammed the gas pedal to the floor, intermittently pumping it to shift the gear up and chased after Jiang Xiaomi with a vengeance.

Behind them, Su Qingqing laughed uproariously, ”She promised to treat me to braised pork knuckles for a month!”

”Eat, eat, eat, that’s all you do. You’ll burst one of these days!” Chen Nan said irritably. His car drifted around a bend, but Jiang Xiaomi’s silhouette was nowhere in sight. He had no idea how far ahead she had gone.

Chen Nan pressed the gas pedal hard, and although the climb uphill, the car’s speed kept increasing.

With each turn, he accelerated and drifted through it. The 4.5-liter engine’s 445-kilowatt power output delivered explosive performance.

Jiang Xiaomi ahead was clearly not as aggressive as Chen Nan. After all, speeding on this mountain road was no joke. Too much power could cause a loss of control and lead to a plunge into a ravine, possibly costing her life.

After drifting through another bend, she glanced in her rearview mirror and didn’t find Chen Nan, feeling a surge of excitement. It seemed paying for Su Qingqing’s braised pork knuckles for a month was worth it. She was sure to destroy this beast this time and get her revenge!

The more Jiang Xiaomi thought about it, the more excited she became. But just then, she saw a red blur appear in her rearview mirror, getting larger and larger.

”He’s actually... catching up!”

Jiang Xiaomi was shocked. Watching the car shadow grow in the mirror, she estimated that Chen Nan was now less than ten meters behind her, and the distance was closing fast.

”How is this animal so freakishly fast!”

Jiang Xiaomi cursed, stepping on the gas a little harder, picking up speed again, but Chen Nan was still moving faster, closing the gap between them even more.

Does this guy have a death wish, daring to drive so fast?

As Jiang Xiaomi pondered this, she saw a sharp bend up ahead, readying herself with full concentration to drift through it.

Approaching the bend, Jiang Xiaomi clenched her jaw, refusing to slow down, and with a flick of the steering wheel, she slid sideways through it, breaking into a cold sweat with fear. Just as she was about to check if Chen Nan had caught up—

”Hey, girl, we meet again. How about you fire one off for me on the mountain, brother will make sure you’re satisfied.”

Chen Nan grinned shamelessly as his car pulled up alongside Jiang Xiaomi.
