School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 340: Chapter 387: The Painting is Too Good

It seemed that Han Yuting noticed Chen Nan’s unusual gaze, her pretty face blushed, and she lightly punched his shoulder, ”Hey, I was just saying, don’t get the wrong idea!”

Chen Nan grinned, ”What do you mean by getting the wrong idea?”

”It’s just...” Han Yuting rolled her eyes, ”How could you not understand? You’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?”

”I really don’t understand, you know, I am a very pure person.” Chen Nan looked at her with a smile, the sly smile tugging at his lips gave him a charmingly wicked vibe, ”Explain to me, what exactly does ’getting the wrong idea’ mean?”

”Hmph, that sneaky grin on your face, you’re clearly up to no good, I won’t deal with you, you rogue!” Han Yuting, with a hint of shyness, turned around and ran towards the kitchen.

Chen Nan touched his nose, ”Hey, how am I being a rogue?”

”You’re a rogue everywhere, there’s a wicked aura all over you.” Han Yuting turned her head to stick out her tongue at him, giggling as she ran into the kitchen.

”What’s with those eyes? I clearly have a good-guy face.” Chen Nan patted the scroll in his hand, chuckling as he followed her into the kitchen and said, ”Let me tell you, everyone who meets me says I look like Lei Feng!”

Han Yuting glanced at him, ”That’s all it is, just looking like him.”

Chen Nan was speechless for a long while.

It was only after a good while that he responded with a downcast tone, ”Girl, can’t you give a person a little face when you talk?”

Han Yuting looked at him eagerly, her face full of innocence and she blinked her adorable eyes, ”I’m sorry, I tend to tell the truth. I really can’t bring myself to say anything against my conscience...”

Looking at Han Yuting’s face, which was as harmless as any human or animal, and her acting skills on par with the best actress of the Golden Horse Awards, Chen Nan truly felt like crying but had no tears, stopping short of speech.

”Girl, is it really okay for you to slander me like this? According to the law, I could sue you.”

Han Yuting nodded happily with a grin, ”Sure, go ahead and sue me. Just make sure to hire a reliable lawyer.”

”Fine, you’ve won.”

Han Yuting smiled triumphantly, ”See, you should have admitted defeat earlier.”

”You misunderstood, I’m not talking about that ’win.’” Chen Nan grinned, ”It’s the one without the ending sound, with three drops of water, and then a descending stroke below with three dots...”

”Ah, you scoundrel!”

Before Chen Nan could finish speaking, Han Yuting’s face flushed as she raised her fists and started hitting his arm.

”This massage technique of yours isn’t very good, how about a bit more strength, huh?”

At his words, Han Yuting snorted, then quickly pinched him hard on his arm. The pain made Chen Nan suck in a breath of cold air and he hastily stepped back a few paces.

”See how powerful I am?” Han Yuting said proudly.

”Women, they’re natural-born lobsters.” Chen Nan sighed, then extended the scroll in his hand, ”Your birthday present.”

Han Yuting looked at him puzzled, ”What’s this?”

”Guess.”

”It should be...” Han Yuting scratched her head, ”a painting? Hehe, how did you know I like paintings?”

”Can’t help it, when giving birthday gifts, you’ve got to be sincere, right? So I asked around about your interests.” Chen Nan said with a smile, ”And it’s a painting I did myself. Do you know what I painted?”

”So you know how to paint too!” Han Yuting looked at him in surprise, ”But as for what you painted, how could I guess?”

”I don’t expect you to guess it.”

Chen Nan extended the painting and said, ”Take a look, I guarantee you’ll like it.”

”So confident, huh?”

Han Yuting was truly curious about what Chen Nan had painted and quickly untied her apron, took the painting, and ran towards the living room.

Chen Nan paused, ”What are you doing, why are you running?”

”The light in the kitchen is too dim, I can’t see clearly, I want to take a good look and see what on earth you’ve painted.”

”I didn’t paint just anything; I painted a person,” Chen Nan said with a smile, following her out.

As Han Yuting laid the scroll on the table and slowly began to unfold it, the first thing to come into view was a pair of legs, slender and beautiful, dressed in a schoolgirl’s skirt—a picture of perfection.

Clearly, the painting depicted a girl.

”What beautiful legs. I didn’t expect your painting skills to be so good!” Han Yuting couldn’t help but praise, then continued to gradually unroll the painting.

Chen Nan smiled, ”Not only are the legs beautiful, but the person is even more so!”

”I have to see which beauty it is.”

Han Yuting smiled happily, and as the scroll was further revealed, the portion below the neck came into view—a slender waist like willow branches, breasts that were not very big but also definitely not small, moderate-sized, the most aesthetically pleasing kind.

At this point, Han Yuting couldn’t help but glance at her own chest, which seemed to be about the same size as the person in the painting.

He couldn’t have drawn me, could he?

This thought flickered through Han Yuting’s mind, and her little heart instantly began to thud wildly, her pretty face filling with anticipation. Deep down, she hoped that Chen Nan had drawn her, but she also felt the likelihood was slim, and her hands holding the painting started to tremble.

”Why are you shaking? Hurry up and see if you are satisfied,” Chen Nan said.

Han Yuting nodded, took a deep breath, and suddenly unfurled the painting completely, revealing a familiar face before her eyes.

It was a face she usually only saw in photos or in the mirror!

It was indeed herself!

In the painting, she was smiling, her expression playful but elegant, and every stroke was so real, as if it were a duplicate of herself.

Han Yuting’s personality was more reserved than Su Qingqing’s, more mischievous than Huo Xinya’s, and in this painting, Chen Nan had captured not only her appearance but also her unique character.

Seeing her face beaming with happiness, staring dreamily at her own image in the painting, Chen Nan teased, ”You’re so engrossed, have you fallen in love with this beauty?”

Returning to her senses, Han Yuting rolled her eyes at him, ”All you know is how to make fun of me.”

”Who’s making fun of you? Isn’t this beauty gorgeous?”

”Hehe...”

Han Yuting shook her head proudly, smiling, ”Someone who was just average-looking has turned into a beauty thanks to your painting.”

”So, are you satisfied with this gift, or not?”

”Satisfied, of course satisfied!”

Han Yuting kept nodding, speaking excitedly, ”I’ve never seen such a good painting before, it’s even more realistic than a photo. I’m going to hang it in my room and look at it every day.”

”I’m glad you like it.”

”Hehe, I also really enjoy painting. Your skills are so good, I definitely have to ask you for some advice when we have time,” Han Yuting said joyfully, putting the scroll away in her room, ”For the sake of this painting, I will definitely make some delicious dishes for you later, and let you taste the superb skills of this lady.”
