School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 330: Chapter 375 Interrogation

”What are you doing?” Huo Xinya grimaced in pain, ”I asked you to hold it, not twist my foot.”

Chen Nan patted her delicate White Jade Foot and stood up, saying, ”Look how scared you were. It’s already better now. Stand up and try walking a bit.”

Huo Xinya suddenly realized that Chen Nan had been saying so much just to distract her. She drew back her leg, twisted her foot, and a look of surprise appeared on her face: ”It really doesn’t hurt anymore.”

”The bone wasn’t broken, it was just a slight dislocation of the joint. Now that it’s reset, naturally it won’t hurt.”

”I didn’t know you had such skills.”

Huo Xinya gave him a thumbs up and tentatively stood up and took a few steps, then bounced around on the floor, a happy smile appearing on her face.

Seeing her excited and somewhat childish demeanor, Chen Nan said proudly, ”It’s a small matter. There are many things your brother-in-law knows how to do. This is nothing.”

Huo Xinya pouted, ”No wonder I saw cows flying in the sky early this morning. You were bragging!”

”I am not bragging. It’s the truth, okay!” Chen Nan checked the time, it was already 2 a.m., and laughed, ”So, should I go back to sleep tonight, or should I stay here?”

Huo Xinya looked at the ceiling light: ”That’s up to you.”

If it had been before, she would have definitely asked Chen Nan to go back to sleep, but now, she was somewhat hopeful that Chen Nan would stay over and chat with her before sleeping.

”So you don’t mind if I stay then?” Chen Nan glanced around, ”But the problem is, do I have a place to sleep? You’re not going to make me sleep on the floor, are you?”

Huo Xinya giggled and pointed to the sofa: ”How about sleeping on this?”

Chen Nan was dumbfounded, ”Really no bed?”

Seeing his long face, Huo Xinya burst out laughing: ”Okay, I was just kidding. Otherwise, where did I sleep the last time you slept in my room? Wait a moment, I will tidy up a bit.”

After speaking, she laughed and walked towards the next bedroom.

Watching her petite figure, Chen Nan touched his nose, feeling that this girl was really quite nice, kind, good-natured, beautiful, and virtuous. She was much more reliable than that little girl Su Qingqing. Anyone who married her would be fortunate.

Chen Nan sat on the sofa and lit up a cigarette.

About five minutes later, Huo Xinya came out in a different outfit, holding the T-shirt Chen Nan was wearing.

”You can go shirtless tonight. I’ll wash this shirt for you, and it should be dry by tomorrow morning.”

Huo Xinya said as she picked up a bucket to put the clothes in, but Chen Nan stopped her: ”This shirt is new tonight, not very dirty, no need to wash it.”

”But, I wore it just now.”

”What does it matter if you wore it? You’re not dirty.” Chen Nan laughed, ”It’s already past 2 a.m. If you wash it now, it might not dry by morning.”

”Since you don’t mind, then I won’t bother.”

Chen Nan took the shirt and put it on; it still carried the scent of Huo Xinya: ”What do I mind? It’s an honor to wear a beautiful woman’s clothes!”

”You!”

Huo Xinya’s cheeks reddened, ”Are you hungry? I can make some midnight snacks.”

”I’m okay, not very hungry. If you’re hungry, go ahead and make something.”

Chen Nan wasn’t really hungry. He’d just had drinks and snacks at home with Su Qingqing and the others after 11 p.m., so he was probably still digesting. How could he be hungry!

”Then I’ll still go and make something!” Huo Xinya turned and went to the kitchen.

...

After the midnight snack, they each went back to their rooms to sleep.

That night, Huo Xinya slept very soundly.

She didn’t know if it was because Chen Nan was sleeping next door, but she felt very secure and quickly fell asleep as soon as she closed her eyes.

By comparison, the boy next door, Chen Nan, seemed quite miserable.

Wearing clothes that Huo Xinya had worn before, their faint fragrance kept his brain in a constant state of excitement, unable to calm down at all. Whenever he closed his eyes, all he could see was the image of Huo Xinya, as if he were possessed.

”If I had known this would happen, I should have asked her to wash these clothes!”

Chen Nan truly regretted it.

Tossing and turning in bed, Chen Nan only managed to fall into a deep sleep after four in the morning.

...

After breakfast, the two of them went to school together.

The moment they entered the classroom, Su Qingqing pouted, looking at them with a face full of jealousy.

She had awakened that morning to find Chen Nan gone, and even his phone was switched off. At first, she was slightly worried, but now it seemed clear—he must have spent the night at Huo Xinya’s place!

Stupid idiot, isn’t your junior sister enough for you? Now you’re even flirting with your aunt, huh!

Jealousy instantly overflowed in Su Qingqing’s heart. The moment Chen Nan sat down, she pouted and reproachfully asked, ”Did you spend the night at her place last night?”

”Yes,” Chen Nan replied.

He didn’t hide anything; after all, he had done nothing wrong and was not afraid of ghosts knocking at his door.

Seeing that Chen Nan admitted to it so freely made Su Qingqing even more agitated. She grabbed his clothes and took a deep sniff, fuming, ”You still have her scent on you! What... what did you do last night?”

Chen Nan was somewhat speechless.

What could he possibly do with his niece? Although in his dreams he had been with her, it was just a dream!

”We didn’t do anything. Last night she ran into some trouble, and I went to save her. It got late, so I didn’t come back,” Chen Nan said, looking at the overly jealous Su Qingqing with a smile, ”Such a sour smell, why are you so worked up?”

Su Qingqing realized she had reacted too strongly. After all, she wasn’t his girlfriend; why should she control him!

”So... you really didn’t do that last night?”

”Do what?”

”You know...” Su Qingqing rolled her eyes, ”Share a bed!”

Chen Nan touched her forehead with his hand, smiling wryly, ”You don’t have a fever. What nonsense are you talking about? She is my niece, your imagination is way too rich!”

Su Qingqing’s mood improved, and she playfully stuck out her tongue, ”Who knows? She’s so beautiful, maybe you just couldn’t resist and made a big mistake.”

”Mistake my head!” Chen Nan tapped her on the head lightly, annoyed, ”You are beautiful too, but we’ve been living together for so long, and I haven’t done anything to you, have I?”

”Is it the same thing!” Su Qingqing pouted, ”There are so many people in our house, even if you have any bad ideas, you wouldn’t dare to act on them! But it’s different with her; just the two of you alone, if romantic feelings arise, who could stop you?”

Chen Nan slapped his forehead, ”But you’ve got to understand, there’s no romance or intention on either side, nothing inappropriate will ever happen between us, got it?”

”Hehe, I’m just worried about you making a mistake,” Su Qingqing playfully blinked, ”If you weren’t my cousin, I wouldn’t bother reminding you! So, you should be thanking me.”

”Always an excuse with you,” Chen Nan said with a wry smile, ”I’m puzzled, though. You look like such a pure girl, but why is your mind so twisted? Can’t you be a bit more innocent?”

”Stupid fool, I’ll kill you for insulting me!”

Su Qingqing swung her fists playfully, laughing as she pretended to beat up Chen Nan’s arm.

”Han Yuting is here!”

Suddenly, someone in the class exclaimed.

The next moment, the whole class quieted down, and everyone turned their heads toward the classroom door, especially the boys, who had a fiery look in their eyes.
