School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 323: Chapter 367 Favoritism, Jealousy

When Chen Nan asked her a question, Ye Yiyi seemed a bit at a loss, ”What’s wrong? I called you senior brother, is there something wrong with that?”

”Nothing, it’s just that your sudden change of address, I’m still not used to it!” Chen Nan laughed, not thinking too much about it, and said, ”Didn’t you used to say that you wouldn’t change how you address me no matter what? What made you suddenly change your mind?”

”This...”

Ye Yiyi looked somewhat bewildered, opening her mouth, but she didn’t say anything. Just then, Su Qingqing’s curious voice came from behind—

”Idiot, who is she?”

Su Qingqing, pulling Liu Tiantian along, ran over, her eyes on Ye Yiyi full of jealousy.

She had clearly seen that Chen Nan had hugged this woman just now, and it was Chen Nan who had initiated it!

”Let me introduce her, this is my junior sister, Ye Yiyi.” Chen Nan smiled, then pointed at Su Qingqing and the others, ”Yiyi, these two are my best friends, Su Qingqing and Liu Tiantian.”

Ye Yiyi smiled slightly, ”Hello!”

So she was Ye Yiyi!

Su Qingqing felt a bit dazed, her heart feeling strange, as if something beloved that had always belonged to her had suddenly been snatched away by someone else. It took her a while before she forced a smile, ”You... you’re beautiful. I’ve often heard Idiot talk about you, but I never imagined you were this beautiful, truly a case of ’famous by name, more famous by sight.’”

”Thank you for the compliment.”

Ye Yiyi smiled faintly, not saying much else.

Su Qingqing’s expression seemed a bit unusual; she had just made a promise with Chen Nan this morning, getting him to agree not to leave, but she had not expected Ye Yiyi to return that afternoon.

Wasn’t it said that it required the White Jade Lotus Platform for her to come out? How did she come out so early!

Su Qingqing felt somewhat despondent, and out of jealousy, she even wished that Ye Yiyi would never come back.

”Anyway, you just returned and probably don’t have anything to do, right? Why don’t you come to my house for dinner, consider it a welcome-back celebration, Idiot’s cooking is really good!” Su Qingqing said.

”This...”

Ye Yiyi seemed somewhat hesitant, but Chen Nan nodded in agreement, pulling her hand and saying, ”Don’t be polite, Qingqing is just like family to us.”

”Then I’ll listen to senior brother,” Ye Yiyi nodded.

”Good, I’ll also call Xinya, it’s been so long since you sisters have met, you two can have a good chat then.”

Chen Nan said happily, ready to call Huo Xinya, but Ye Yiyi stopped him, ”Don’t, let’s not call her, just having you by my side is enough for me.”

Chen Nan was stunned, ”Why? You sisters get along so well, don’t you want to see her?”

”No... it’s not that,” Ye Yiyi shook her head, seemingly hiding something, and said, ”Let’s go find her tomorrow, I just want to give her a surprise.”

”Alright then, I’ll listen to you!”

Chen Nan smiled, gently pinching Ye Yiyi’s delicate face, no matter what his junior sister said, he had never refused her.

Ye Yiyi’s expression was a bit unusual against Chen Nan’s affectionate gesture, but Su Qingqing beside her felt sour, a stab of pain washing over her, as if her heart was being pierced by a knife.

You’re such an idiot, a stinky fool, don’t you know to avoid doing this in front of me?

Su Qingqing muttered to herself, shifting her gaze away, she bit her red lips and, after a moment of silence, she forced a smile and said, ”Then let’s go buy some groceries together, we’ll make a big dinner tonight, hehe...”

”That’s fine, we don’t have much food at home anyway.”

”Let’s go then!”

Su Qingqing said this and pulled Liu Tiantian along, heading toward the parking lot first; she really didn’t want to see Chen Nan and Ye Yiyi’s affectionate actions.

Liu Tiantian pouted her lips, muttering in a very soft voice, ”Stinky Qingqing, how can you still smile? His junior sister is so beautiful, cousin will not like us anymore.”

Su Qingqing shook her head and smiled, not saying anything.

Other than forcing a smile, what could she do? Would she sullenly cry in front of Chen Nan?

With her personality, even if she liked him a lot, she wouldn’t be driven to extremes.

...

After the four of them finished shopping for groceries, they didn’t return home until five-thirty.

Chen Nan’s original plan to buy a car was also temporarily put out of his mind.

With Su Yixuan and Yun Fei not around, after returning home, Su Qingqing seemed to become more diligent than before, pulling Liu Tiantian into the kitchen, claiming she wanted to help Chen Nan wash the vegetables.

”You guys don’t need to fuss over this, go keep my junior sister company and chat, get to know her better,” Chen Nan said with a laugh.

Su Qingqing glanced over at the living room, stared straight at Chen Nan, and gritted her teeth, ”But I prefer being with you!”

Her words had an obvious meaning, but Chen Nan could only pretend to be puzzled since he did not know how to respond, laughing, ”You lazybones, you can be diligent too? Could it be that the sun rose from the west today?”

Su Qingqing stuck out her tongue, ”Why do you care so much, aren’t you happy that I’m helping you wash the veggies?”

”Alright, alright, I’m happy, happy now, okay?” Chen Nan replied with a laugh, ”Our Qingqing is a good girl, caring about her cousin; does that satisfy you?”

”That’s more like it.”

Su Qingqing nodded cheerfully, but Liu Tiantian puffed her lips to the side, ”Cousin, you’re biased, always praising her, never me. I’m angry now, hmph!”

Chen Nan shoved the cabbage he was holding into Liu Tiantian’s hands, joking, ”You little rascal, just obediently wash the veggies!”

”Stinky cousin, why do you call me a little rascal? I’m not small at all!” Liu Tiantian said indignantly, puffing up her chest, as if to show Chen Nan, Look, am I small? I’m not small at all!

Both Chen Nan and Su Qingqing couldn’t help but laugh at her actions, hastily agreeing to avoid her saying anything more outrageous.

...

Since Su Yixuan and Yun Fei had social engagements, they did not come back for dinner that evening.

After the four of them finished dinner, they sat in the living room and chatted for a while. Around seven in the evening, Chen Nan took Ye Yiyi back to his room, which made Su Qingqing anxious.

”Last time was too short, we didn’t get to chat properly,” Chen Nan sat on the edge of the bed, holding Ye Yiyi in his arms, and laughed, ”Now we have plenty of time. I want you to tell me in detail how you have been these past years.”

”I...I’ve been fine!” Ye Yiyi faltered, ”Let’s talk about you, how have you been?”

Staring at Ye Yiyi, Chen Nan gradually furrowed his brows.

Although it had been many years since he last held his junior sister, he clearly remembered her familiar scent, which seemed somewhat different now, almost as if she were not the same person.

”Why do I feel that you are different from before, can you tell me why?” Chen Nan asked.
