School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 319: Chapter 363: Bring Grandpa a Pot of Wine!

Chen Nan was very clear about Su Qingqing’s personality.

She was mischievous, lively, and infinitely close to a tomboy, but her performance today surprised Chen Nan.

How could such a playful girl be afraid of riding a roller coaster?

”Are you feeling unwell today?” Chen Nan asked with concern.

If that was the case, Chen Nan would indeed feel guilty, after all, he had almost forcibly brought her along.

”No, I’m fine, why wouldn’t I be?” Su Qingqing shook her head, her face contorted in distress, ”The reason I’m scared to go on this is that I get motion sickness. After this ride, I’ll probably end up throwing up.”

”Why didn’t you say so earlier?” Chen Nan said, somewhat speechless, ”Then let’s not play anymore, let’s get off, to spare you from feeling sick later.”

”Yes, please!”

Su Qingqing’s face immediately lit up with joy, nodding her head like a pecking chicken, but just at that moment, the roller coaster started moving, and they couldn’t get off anymore.

”Why am I so unlucky!”

Su Qingqing gripped Chen Nan’s hand tightly, her face full of gloom.

Chen Nan also felt helpless, ”If only you had said something sooner.”

”Didn’t I just not want to disappoint you?” Su Qingqing muttered, ”It’s rare to see you so interested in a ride.”

Chen Nan felt a twinge in his heart upon hearing this.

Those who don’t suffer from motion sickness might not understand, but for those who do, riding a roller coaster is torture, to put it dramatically, it’s like a life and death trial. Yet, to please him, she had mustered her courage to follow him here.

”Take this pill.”

Chen Nan took out a pill the size of a green mung bean and passed it to her.

”What’s this?”

”It has a refreshing and sobering effect, very useful for people with motion sickness,” Chen Nan said. ”However, it takes a couple of minutes to work. You’ll have to bear with it until the effect kicks in. Just don’t actually vomit, okay? For a beauty like you, that would be quite a blow to your image.”

Su Qingqing quickly swallowed the pill and let out a silent sigh of relief, glancing at Chen Nan with a mischievous smile, ”If I really can’t help but throw up, I’ll do it right on your face since you’re the one who dragged me up here.”

Chen Nan chuckled, ”Who else would I drag up if not my cousin?”

”So you can bully me just because I’m your cousin?” Su Qingqing’s eyes widened.

Chen Nan nodded with a sly smile, ”Exactly, cousins are there to be bullied.”

”You heartless jerk!” Su Qingqing pouted and rolled her eyes, her delicate hands gripping Chen Nan’s broad palm tightly. The roller coaster was now gaining speed, its rises and turns eliciting screams from many of the riders.

”Ahhhh!”

With her hand clenched around Chen Nan’s, Su Qingqing also started screaming with her eyes closed.

Chen Nan, on the other hand, found it somewhat boring; from below, the ride looked thrilling, but actually riding it turned out to be quite dull.

”Silly girl, are you okay?”

Chen Nan looked over at Su Qingqing to see her eyes shut tight, her other hand gripping the safety bar, her expression one of pain.

Su Qingqing gave him an annoyed look and retorted, ”You’re the silly one!”

”I’m not a girl.”

”Then you’re a silly boy!”

Su Qingqing said this, and seeing that they were approaching the 360-degree rotation, she quickly closed her eyes again, tightly clenched her teeth, and stopped talking.

After the 360-degree rotation came to an end, Su Qingqing’s stomach felt as tumultuous as if rivers and seas had been turned upside down, indescribably uncomfortable. She furrowed her brows and bit down on her teeth, ”Idiot, I can barely hold it in.”

”Just hang in there a bit longer, the medicine will take effect soon.”

”Mmh!”

She nodded vigorously and took a deep breath. Su Qingqing just hoped it would end quickly or that the medicine would take effect soon; otherwise, she really worried she might throw up, which would be so embarrassing.

As time passed, Su Qingqing began to feel dizzier and dizzier, ”Idiot, your medicine hasn’t expired, has it? Why isn’t it working yet!”

”It hasn’t, just endure a little longer, we’re almost at the end.” Seeing her in pain, Chen Nan spoke with concern.

Su Qingqing was almost at a loss for words, ”What kind of useless medicine is this? We’re almost at the end, and it still hasn’t had any effect.”

”Just hold on a little longer.”

Chen Nan said comfortingly, and finally, just when Su Qingqing was about to break, the roller coaster reached the end and came to a halt.

”Phew...”

With a pale face, Su Qingqing patted her chest and took a long breath, ”It’s like I’ve taken a trip to Ghost Gate; I’d rather die than ride this damn thing again.”

After unfastening the safety harness, Chen Nan prepared to help Su Qingqing up, but she shook her head pitifully, ”Idiot, my legs are weak, my body is powerless, and my stomach feels like an active volcano, ready to erupt at any moment. I can’t walk; can you carry me, please?”

Chen Nan was at a loss for words, this girl really knew how to be lazy!

But then again, Su Qingqing really was feeling quite awful, so Chen Nan sighed, squatted down, and carried her on his back as they walked down.

”Idiot, you really are my good cousin, hee hee...”

Although Su Qingqing was somewhat pale, she had a happy expression on her face as she lay on Chen Nan’s back.

”No choice, who let you be my fake cousin!” Chen Nan glanced back at her, ”Do you have water in your bag? I’m thirsty, give me some water to drink.”

”Sure thing, your lordship, please wait a moment, your servant will serve you tea right away.” Su Qingqing grinned as she took a bottle of mineral water out of her bag, unscrewed the cap and fed it to Chen Nan, ”Here you go, your lordship, please enjoy your tea.”

Chen Nan nodded in satisfaction, ”Not bad, not bad, girl, bring me a pot of wine now.”

Girl!

Su Qingqing’s eyes puffed up; she shrugged her nose and grabbed Chen Nan’s ear, giving it a vicious twist, ”Dead idiot, you blossom when given sunlight, huh? Daring to call me ’girl’ to my face, I’ll twist your ear off.”

”Stop, stop, stop, a lady should be reserved, reserved!” Chen Nan glanced around, ”All these people are watching, can you save me some face?”

Su Qingqing laughed until she shook, ”Hehe, you still care about saving face?”

”If you continue being this sassy, believe it or not, I will throw you down this instant? You’ll end up with a blooming butt!”

Su Qingqing shuddered all over with fright and quickly clung tightly to Chen Nan’s neck, contemptuously saying, ”You don’t have the guts, you won’t throw me down!”

Chen Nan smiled helplessly, ”Feeling any better?”

”Much better.”

Su Qingqing rested her chin on his shoulder and blinked, ”But your medicine doesn’t seem to have worked yet, you sure it hasn’t expired?”

”That was a healing medicine, for injuries it heals, for the uninjured it strengthens the body; it never worked for motion sickness.” Chen Nan smiled, ”I was just worried you wouldn’t be able to persist, so I gave you the medicine to comfort you, to boost your confidence.”

”What? It’s not motion sickness medicine!” Su Qingqing glared, teeth clenched, ”Humph, stinky idiot, you tricked me!”
