Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2883: Chapter 2015: Success

The gray-haired white old man that Bai Xiaosheng and his team were targeting was indeed from the Vice Chairman Morgan’s family, actually in his sixties.

However, due to a prosperous life and good maintenance, he looked lively, physically fit, and very charismatic.

The kind of charisma that unmistakably indicated he was wealthy, a member of the social elite.

The old white man’s drinking capacity was impressive; he had already changed two drinking companions without showing any signs of intoxication. The previous beauty was a green-clad mixed-race woman with a hot figure, and the current drinking companion was a plump white girl, continually giggling at his humorous conversation.

”Beautiful lady, we’re having such an enjoyable chat; why not come to my room for an American-style intimate conversation, and exchange our views on American culture? I have some good wine there, a ’59 Lafite.”

The old man touched his wristwatch with one hand and smiled as he extended the invitation.

The plump woman smiled, her eyes wandering, seemingly considering.

Although this American old man was somewhat aged, he appeared quite appealing, and from his clothes to shoes to the rings and watch he wore, everything was of great value—this was what truly captivated her.

Just as the woman was about to agree, a figure swiftly approached.

Close up, without a word, he slammed the table hard.

With a ”bang,” the glasses on the table almost jumped.

The old white man and the woman were startled by this sudden scene.

The table-slammer was a fat man, his eyes were wide with rage, his eyeballs almost bulging out, showing extreme anger.

Then, the fat man grabbed the old man’s collar and hauled him up, while his other chunky hand held a cell phone.

The old man instinctively raised his hand to grip the other’s wrist, the watchband pressing against the phone.

”Who are you? What do you want?” the old man asked in surprise, looking at the fat man.

”You know who I am! Don’t pretend you don’t recognize me!” The fat man yelled, his face flushed, splattering the old man’s face with spit, leaving him in utter disarray.

The plump woman was shocked, unable to comprehend the situation, and had no choice but to turn and call out for a server, ”Waiter!”

The commotion had already caught the attention of a server, who hurriedly approached.

At the same time, it drew the eyes of those around.

With uncertainty in the air, everyone glanced at each other.

”I don’t know you, please let go!” The old man felt discomfort in his neck, trying to pull the fat man’s hand down while yelling.

The fat man, with a menacing look, maintained his grip, ”You don’t know me? Huh! You don’t know me, you were just drinking with my girlfriend!”

”Your girlfriend?” The old white man was taken aback upon hearing this.

The onlookers couldn’t help but be surprised as well.

”She was wearing a green dress today, looking stunning, someone said she was flirting with a man here, an old man, was that you!” The fat man wailed desperately.

The old white man was dumbstruck for a moment, then his eyes showed realization.

He previously had a great conversation with a green-dressed mixed-race woman, and if she hadn’t said she had to leave first, he would have had an intimate chat with her, instead of the current plump woman.

”I don’t know her, I just had a couple of drinks with her.” The old white man hurriedly explained.

The fat man gritted his teeth, squeezing out the words from between them, ”I, don’t, believe!”

The plump woman who initially picked up her phone, seemingly to report to the ship’s security, suddenly stopped upon overhearing the conversation, looking at the fat man with an oddly sympathetic gaze.

The fat man noticed her gaze and immediately shot her a fierce look, ”What are you looking at?”

”I’m leaving now.” The plump woman quickly picked up her bag and hurried away.

This kind of trouble, she didn’t want to get involved.

At this moment, the surrounding drinkers also looked at the fat man sympathetically, with some casting disdainful looks at the old white man.

The originally rushing bartender halted upon hearing the conversation, became hesitant in his steps but still braced himself to mediate, ”Sir, no matter what, you should let him go first...”

”If your girlfriend was like this, what would you do?” The fat man shouted.

The bartender immediately shut his mouth.

”I really have nothing to do with her, it’s just a coincidence. You can check the surveillance; I even advised her not to drink too much here as her family would worry. She listened to my advice and left, you can check the surveillance.” The old white man earnestly explained.

Finally, among the drinkers nearby, someone couldn’t help but start reasoning with the fat man.

”What he said is actually true, I was next to them; your girlfriend really didn’t do anything inappropriate with him, and she has already left.”

”I think you should contact your girlfriend again; perhaps you are overthinking it.”

”Indeed, sir, don’t be agitated, I understand your feelings very well.”

With everyone’s persuasion, the fat man’s anger gradually calmed down a bit.

From a distance, Bai Xiaosheng’s group was watching the fat man Buchi’s excellent performance while Lin Weiwei was timing on her phone.

Bai Xiaosheng had said, the phone needed to be within three to five minutes of close contact with the smartwatch to complete the data copying.

Granted, the data isn’t too large.

”Let’s drag it out a bit longer; I think Buchi can complete the task by himself.” Lin Weiwei leaned over and whispered to Bai Xiaosheng next to her, ”I hadn’t expected that the seemingly foolish guy would turn out to be a top-notch performer.”

”Don’t underestimate anyone.” Bai Xiaosheng said with a sip of his wine, ”The timing is about right, the drama has reached its climax. Inform him to swap roles, before the other side gets suspicious.”
