Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2875: Chapter 2011: Such a Pair (2)

After all this talk, this question is key.

Lai Mo and Buchi have already decided to cooperate, so at this moment, there’s no need to hide anything.

”Actually, the two of us are in a special business,” Lai Mo said, ”the kind that sells a bit of commercial information to others in exchange for revenue.”

This description is indeed surprising.

Bai Xiaosheng was taken aback for a moment, then he responded, ”Oh, commercial information traffickers!”

Lai Mo and Buchi immediately laughed and nodded repeatedly.

Bai Xiaosheng understood.

No wonder Lai Mo knows Leifer. Leifer is somewhat known in the business world, especially in countries surrounding Kustiel. Information traffickers would certainly know some business celebrities and names.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying couldn’t help but exchange glances.

”How did you set your sights on Binge? Who hired you? What kind of commercial information are you looking to obtain?” Bai Xiaosheng asked calmly.

The thin Lai Mo answered straightforwardly, ”We don’t know who the buyer is.”

”And we don’t know what commercial information we’re supposed to find,” the plump Buchi added.

The two of them act like they’re performing a comedy skit, without knowing anything, yet still planning to steal commercial secrets.

”You’re not being truthful, are you!” Lin Weiwei immediately glared.

”No, no, we’re telling the truth!” Lai Mo quickly responded, ”We haven’t even met our employer. We took the job online.” ℴ

Online, where they took the job? Lin Weiwei was briefly stunned.

”It’s the internet age, it saves time and effort. For us, time costs are also costs,” Buchi said.

”Besides, accepting commissions in person is risky. If the client turned out to be the police, we’d be done for,” Lai Mo added.

These two are either very clever or very foolish. Lin Weiwei was convinced.

This time, without Bai Xiaosheng needing to ask further, Lai Mo took the initiative to explain, ”Half a month ago, someone contacted us, saying some young man, the son of the general manager of HBB company, Binge, was traveling to a North American family. There’s talk of some deal, and a rumored intent to engage in marriage. They mentioned he would carry a very important commercial document on his return, and that person wanted us to get it.”

”Our employer not only paid us a significant advance but also covered all the flight and ship tickets along the way. It seems he anticipated that things wouldn’t go smoothly for us, so he prepared tickets for the entire journey in advance. But this time, when those people suddenly decided to take this ship, our behind-the-scenes employer could still buy tickets unexpectedly, which really surprised us,” Buchi said.

Lai Mo continued, ”Originally, we bumped into them having breakfast in the restaurant this morning. We heard them talking about going to party after eating. Thinking that no one would be around, we came to check if we could enter the room and find that commercial document. Actually, we didn’t need to take it, just a photo would suffice for us to complete the mission...”

”However, unexpectedly, we ran into you,” Buchi said.

This explanation from Lai Mo and Buchi allowed Bai Xiaosheng and the other three to understand the whole story.

Bai Xiaosheng and company were originally puzzled why Binge and others’ return seemed more like sightseeing, without urgency.

Finally, it was understood that the family intended for an engagement with the Vice Chairman Morgan’s family.

Looking at Miss Tiwei’er being quite interested in Binge, this engagement should be very promising...

The mystery was who the powerful employer seeking information was, knowing every insider detail and able to follow the entire journey...

It seemed more like an internal person from Vice Chairman Morgan’s family.

Just that there’s something quite odd...

Why did the mysterious employer hire these two idiots...

Frankly speaking, if commercial information traffickers have their own craft, Lai Mo and Buchi would be the shame of the industry...

After listening to them, Bai Xiaosheng fell into deep thought.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying were also pondering.

Lai Mo and Buchi cautiously observed the three, worried about how these people would handle them.

Judging by the burly physique, the two knew they couldn’t fight or outrun them.

”Young Sir, we agreed earlier, as long as we confess everything, you can’t hand us over. We did not mean to offend, it was entirely accidental, a small misstep in probability,” Lai Mo said cautiously to Bai Xiaosheng.

Buchi added, ”We won’t make such rookie mistakes again, and we promise not to disturb you further.”

Seeing Bai Xiaosheng unchanged, with no reaction, they couldn’t help but feel nervous.

Lai Mo made a resolute decision, ”If you’re afraid of getting involved, then, uh, then we won’t act on the ship!”

After all, if nearby theft occurred, these few might face inquiries, and most people don’t want trouble.

Moreover, because they know Binge’s name, it’s likely they’re acquainted.

That’s why Lai Mo expressed such intent.

”If necessary, we can even cancel the job,” Lai Mo added.

The next stop of the Moonlight Bird Princess is the final destination, which is Wan Yu, where their home is located.

Once at Wan Yu, they basically lose any opportunity.

Buchi appeared immediately concerned, seemingly feeling that failing the mission would mean breaking promises and losing face in the industry.

But Lai Mo had no choice but to say so, the alternative would be these three handing them over, which would be disastrous.

On second thought, the little fat one’s heart stirred. They could potentially act when approaching the shore. If they hid well, no one would find them.
