Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2855: Chapter 2002: This Is Just Bullying!

A few days later.

In a spacious and bright living room, Bai Xiaosheng sat on the sofa by the window, leisurely savoring a cup of coffee.

Opposite him sat Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying, one drinking coffee, the other tea.

In this rare leisure time, Bai Xiaosheng was unhurriedly talking with the two about the rumors swirling around the group headquarters these past days.

”Vice Chairman Morgan has been entrenched in the group for decades, deeply rooted. Aside from him, six other vice directors, aside from me, five business division presidents, plus heads of headquarters administration, logistics, technology, and other departments, it can be said that half are openly or secretly his supporters.”

”In other words, with Vice Chairman Morgan in his position, their interests are maximized. With their support, even the old chairman would find it difficult to move him.”

”Therefore, if I really want to shake Vice Chairman Morgan, I must first make him lose support. This is not easy but can also be easy.”

Bai Xiaosheng took a sip of coffee and continued, ”For the vice directors, if Morgan is indeed stealing group interests as rumored, some people absolutely cannot tolerate it, while others have the intention but not the courage. To Vice Chairman Morgan, the feelings of those vice directors are anger, jealousy, but not affection.

Although, before this, it’s impossible that the vice directors hadn’t heard anything about Vice Chairman Morgan, but there was never solid evidence.

This time, I will provide them a solid fact, an example with evidence.

It’s like planting a seed in everyone’s heart, taking root and sprouting, making people uncomfortable or even sick and jealous when they think about it.

To the vice directors, they understand Morgan’s personality well; he is not one to make small moves. Who knows how much business he has done behind the scenes?

Imagination will infinitely amplify emotions and become more and more intense, making it unbearable.

The presidents of the major business divisions lean on the vice directors, so as long as the vice directors are dissatisfied, they will also be affected. The same goes for the heads of departments like headquarters administration and logistics.

In this way, the support for Vice Chairman Morgan in the group’s upper echelons will be shaken.

When someone holds power and there is profit to be had, such changes may not have much impact, but once faced with great difficulties, a scene of everyone pushing against the wall will happen! Extremely widespread and thorough!

It’s like porcelain with invisible cracks, becoming more fragile and shattering into pieces.

Back to Vice Chairman Morgan, his real loyal followers, besides the former president of the South America division who stepped down, currently, there’s only one in the North America division, Caroline.

This kind of loyalty is also established on a basis of interest binding, seeming solid but actually having fatal weaknesses.

Once Vice Chairman Morgan threatens the deeply rooted family of Caroline, Caroline will react in self-preservation. If Caroline, considering her family interests, threatens the Morgan family’s interests, the closer the confidence, the greater the threat, and mutual trust will explode.”

Bai Xiaosheng’s long talk made Lei Ying nod slightly and fall into thought.

Lin Weiwei, however, looked at Bai Xiaosheng, then at Lei Ying, murmuring with a coffee cup in her hand, ”So... what do we do next?”

Lin Weiwei really isn’t good at thinking about these intrigues.

According to her, it’s too mentally exhausting for girls, using the brain too much leads to gray hairs.

Lei Ying couldn’t help but chuckle, ”You don’t need to think too much, that’s asking too much. You just do everything Sheng tells you, that’s enough.”

Lin Weiwei suddenly felt relieved and smiled brightly, ”That’s what I was thinking too.”

Bai Xiaosheng smiled wryly and said, ”Yesterday, Robert sent me a lot of extremely useful information, I suspect that next, Vice Chairman Morgan and Caroline’s family will take action.”

”Are they going to counterattack us?!” Lin Weiwei immediately said, ”These people never have good intentions, will they escalate this time to give us trouble and threats, it must be guarded against in advance!”

Lei Ying looked at Bai Xiaosheng.

”Based on the information Robert gave me, and some of my own speculations.” Bai Xiaosheng shook his head and said, ”This time, they should adopt a defensive strategy.”

”Adopt a defensive strategy?”

Lin Weiwei looked at Lei Ying.

Lei Ying also said to Bai Xiaosheng, ”You mean they will aim to quickly quell the rumors?”

Bai Xiaosheng nodded, took a sip of coffee, letting the silky aroma roll over his tongue before slowly speaking, ”I thought about it, calming this incident could be done with several methods. However, the most likely one is that Vice Chairman Morgan’s family will sell off Golun International stocks and withdraw from Golun International’s obvious control.”

”Doesn’t that mean admitting they indeed have problems?” Lin Weiwei asked curiously.

Lei Ying thought for a moment and probed, ”That’s a good move, Vice Chairman Morgan’s real aim is to give an account to other vice directors, showing that he will no longer meddle in group interests?”

Those vice directors are shrewd old foxes, it’s hard to appease them with superficial measures, Vice Chairman Morgan is going for a drastic measure—cutting off one’s own arm.

”Is that so?” Lin Weiwei looked at Bai Xiaosheng.

”You guessed part of it.” Bai Xiaosheng smiled and said, ”Cutting off one’s arm? Someone like Vice Chairman Morgan, take a loss? Based on the information Robert gave me, the ’arm’ he cuts off will be devoured by the Caroline family. Caroline’s family should compensate Morgan’s family from other areas.”

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying couldn’t help but exchange a glance and nod repeatedly.

They were highly impressed with Bai Xiaosheng’s speculation.
