Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2867: Chapter 2008: Meeting Again

Bai Xiaosheng used just one button to impose punishment on those four individuals. These well-dressed, arrogant, and rude young men and women covered their mouths, touched their heads, pressed their noses, and rubbed their eyes. Their glamour was stripped away, revealing their confusion and embarrassment.

However, after their temporary loss of composure, they quickly regained their rationality.

The long-haired beauty who was the first to sarcastically mock Lin Weiwei didn’t immediately throw a tantrum with the two men from her party but instead turned to the woman with her hair pinned up to express her concern, ”Tiwei’er, are you okay? How are your eyes, are they hurt?!”

In fact, the woman with her hair pinned up was the last one hit by the button, and the force she sustained was the lightest. Aside from a brief moment of pain, she wasn’t really hurt, and the fright was greater than the pain.

”I’m fine, Kuna.” The woman with her hair pinned up waved her hand.

The slightly taller young man also immediately showed concern for Tiwei’er, ”Tiwei’er, let me have a look, make sure you’re not hurt!”

”Binge.” Tiwei’er really turned to him, her voice carrying a slight tone of grievance.

The man called Binge gazed intently into Tiwei’er’s eyes, focused and affectionate, staring for a full minute before finally smiling and saying, ”Your beauty hasn’t been harmed at all.”

His words were indeed quite cheesy.

Kuna’s mouth subtly twitched with envy, before quickly regaining her previous expression.

The slightly dark-skinned young man couldn’t ingratiate himself with the woman called Tiwei’er, so he could only mumble nearby, ”Just now was really strange, what flew in and hurt us? Could it be a part that fell off from the elevator? No way, we have to complain to them!”

Whether it hurt or not is one thing, but being startled so suddenly and embarrassed in front of female companions is intolerable.

”Fain is right, we absolutely cannot tolerate this incident!” The long-haired beauty Kuna also said angrily.

Binge and Tiwei’er nodded with stern expressions, seeming very much in agreement.

”Ahem, gentlemen, ladies.” A polite voice sounded from behind them.

The four young men and women turned around, seeing an elderly gentleman in their group raise a hand at them, holding an item in his hand.

”I just found this, it’s what attacked all of you!”

Everyone fixed their eyes, staring blankly at each other.

”What is it?”

”A button?”

”So this is what flew in and hurt us?”

”Where did this button come from?”

The four expressed varying degrees of astonishment.

The old man coughed once and said, ”I picked it up from the ground; I guess it was thrown in by that last Asian man.”

”The last Asian man?!”

”It was him!”

”That bastard was behind it!”

”We can’t let him get away with it!”

All four began to chatter noisily.

”When we meet them next time, we definitely can’t let this matter go!” Lastly, Binge’s face turned slightly cold as he reached out to take the button, speaking decisively.

The others promptly nodded.

”It’s not worth letting those disgusting people affect our mood. Let’s stay happy, and once we’re at Wan Yu, let Binge treat us to a fun time.”

Kuna playfully said to Binge, ”Our Mr. Binge has really made it this time, directly promoted to vice president of HBB company!”

Wan Yu’s HBB company is a large comprehensive corporation, well-known throughout Oceania.

Because it actually belongs to the Zhenbei Group! A world-class financial conglomerate!

”No problem.” Binge replied with a hearty laugh, deliberately speaking tenderly to Tiwei’er, ”Tiwei’er, since it’s rare for you to visit Wan Yu, let me fulfill my duties as host.”

Tiwei’er responded with a sweet smile, nodding emotionally.

It was clear she had a particular interest in Binge.

”Miss Tiwei’er, you see, the three of us friends live in Wan Yu year-round and meet often, but you’re the distinguished guest. To entertain you, Binge must present the finest offerings, maybe we can benefit too.” Fain winked, ”I know he has a good bottle of wine from the sixties; you must ensure he brings it out for everyone to enjoy.”

With Tiwei’er present, Binge showed no reluctance and smiled, ”As long as Tiwei’er wants, I can bring out anything good!”

Upon hearing this, Tiwei’er smiled sweetly.

Kuna accompanied her smile, yet deep in her eyes, a streak of jealousy slipped through.

Speaking of which, Kuna and Fain’s parents also hold executive positions at companies under the Zhenbei Group in Wan Yu.

Binge’s father is even the top executive at HBB, Zhenbei Group’s leading local company.

They can be said to have grown up in the same circle, often playing together.

Binge is handsome and talented, so Kuna inevitably had feelings deeper than friendship for him.

But now, Binge was avidly courting Tiwei’er whilst Tiwei’er reciprocated his intentions.

This was very frustrating.

However, Tiwei’er holds a very special status, coming from an extremely powerful family. There’s even a formidable elder in the Zhenbei Group named Morgan within the family.

Kuna also knows she can’t compare herself, and considering both their elders in the same group, offending Tiwei’er would bring her no good outcome.

The old man who picked up the button was actually accompanying Tiwei’er to Wan Yu, an important figure in her family, and rumored to be conducting business with the HBB company.

Beyond this, Kuna knew little.

The middle-aged man with them was sent by Binge’s father to go along for negotiations.

Originally, Binge invited her and Fain to travel there, even had an accompanying person, which seemed awkward no matter how you thought about it.

The return trip even included the old man—how bewildering.

In fact, Kuna had also suspected that when Binge invited them, it was purely for business, using them as incidental companions.
