One-Eyed Monster

Kadi has blue skin, one eye, and a tail, while I look like a fairly decent human. We’re entirely different species. I don’t understand how this Soul Devourer Master could be confused. Could it be because this Soul Devourer Master has always been adept at confusing truth with falsehood, causing him to fail in recognizing appearances?

No, the Soul Devourer Master mentioned earlier, words can deceive, appearances can deceive, but energy fluctuations don’t deceive... This indicates one thing: the Soul Devourer Master doesn’t rely on senses to judge things; he relies on energy fluctuations.

If that’s the case, then what is it about me that’s common with Kadi?

The Soul Devourer Master judged him to be Kadi because his Sword Qi contains some unknown Lightning, which should be a hallmark of Kadi.

But on Guru Mountain, Kadi showed no signs related to Lightning!

So what’s this all about!

Igor felt a bit puzzled; he couldn’t understand how the Soul Devourer Master perceived a connection between Lightning and Kadi.

Energy fluctuations, perhaps this energy fluctuation is Spirit Power fluctuation, if we are talking about Spirit Power fluctuations, then there are many similarities between Kadi and me.

Because at Guru Mountain, the moments of using the Ant Connection Spell between him and Kadi were quite frequent. This exchange of Spirit Power had long fostered a kind of tacit understanding between them. Kadi’s unique physique made performing the Ant Connection spell easier. Kadi seemed like a Medium, with various Spirit Powers able to link through him. This peculiarity may have made Igor’s Ant Connection Spell at Guru Mountain play a vital role against the wizard Rei’s Dark Forces.

The more Igor pondered, the more he felt that many things were connected with the Border Realm, especially the relationship between Spirit Power and the Energy within the Border Realm, although his guesses might not be correct, he couldn’t stop thinking along these lines. Perhaps regarding Spirit Power, no one on Yowein Continent could clearly explain it; maybe it’s a matter that needs exploration. Now there’s a hypothesis before him, and he wants to try it.

Igor’s curiosity compelled him to use Spirit Sensing to perceive the energy.

Then he astonishingly discovered that collecting these energies and integrating them formed the feeling of Spirit Power.

This means these energies are indeed the quantification of Spirit Power, with energy constructing Spirit Power.

Discovering this made Igor a bit excited, he wanted to shout it out loud, but suddenly realized this finding had no significance for the current situation.

Sol’s battle with the Soul Devourer Master remains intense, with nothing much they can do to help. Even if he disclosed his new discovery now, it wouldn’t change anything, potentially affecting Sol instead!

But wait, since he can influence Sol, can’t he also influence the Soul Devourer Master?

Igor suddenly felt a flicker within, thinking he most certainly could influence the Soul Devourer Master.

Since the Soul Devourer Master mistook him for Kadi, he could certainly use this point. Since the Soul Devourer Master could confuse truth with lies, why couldn’t Igor?

Thinking this made Igor feel like a genius.

However, he soon dispelled the notion of impersonating Kadi, firstly because he was unfamiliar with how to impersonate someone, and secondly, he feared that such a sudden act might impact Sol. The second point is crucial; he certainly wouldn’t want any of his actions to affect Sol.

Originally, he felt Sol was already struggling significantly; his disruption would only make Sol’s efforts more taxing, a method he couldn’t accept.

Yet he was still unwilling to give up, feeling he had to do something to help Sol, and he already set the general direction: he’s going to interfere with the Soul Devourer Master.

The thought of impersonating Kadi was too foolish, and he couldn’t manage it; he’s Igor, capable only of being himself...

Thinking, Igor felt revealing the truth might be better; perhaps unveiling the truth could hurt the Soul Devourer Master, after all, he’s so arrogant, so conceited. If he suddenly found his judgment erroneous, might he lose control and collapse...

Igor grew increasingly convinced, believing this truth could indeed play a significant role now.

No time to delay, he must act quickly!

Igor cleared his throat, then loudly shouted: ”Hey, that bastard’s Master!”

”Hmm?” The Soul Devourer Master felt strange; why was the Agent of Destruction yelling loudly now? Could it be some Awakening, sparking a transformation? Such a turn made the Soul Devourer Master slightly expectant, slowing the rhythm of the Energy Ball release slightly.

But Sol was also drawn by Igor’s shout, unable to quicken his Lightning attack even when the opponent’s pace slowed.

Both parties remained in a deadlock, awaiting Igor’s next move.

”You think I’m that blue-skinned monster, huh? Hahaha, you’re really blind, I’m not that blue monster, bet you didn’t expect that!” Igor frankly spilled the truth, yet it held no convincing power.

”He’s deeply poisoned by your consciousness, not knowing how your continent’s people managed it!” The Soul Devourer Master saw this merely as Igor being assimilated by that world, not recognizing his own error!

”No, you’re wrong!” Sol repeated his viewpoint, weaving a web of Lightning to block the attacking Yellow Energy Ball.

”How could I possibly be wrong!” The Soul Devourer Master maintained his pride!

”I know you won’t believe it, hahaha.” Igor kept shouting, drawing both tension and amusement from the Mos Brothers beside him.

Igor released a wave of energy, now able to accumulate it into the form of Spirit Power, releasing Spirit akin to Kadi.

Then Igor laughed at the Soul Devourer Master: ”You’re deceived by this Spirit, resembling Kadi’s Spirit, because of the frequent Ant Connection Spell between the two of us, forming abundant commonality in Spirit! Hahaha, our Spirits communicated, causing this!”

The Soul Devourer Master gazed dazedly at the released energy, which upon release transformed into Lightning, the very thing he identified, believing it was the energy from the Agent of Destruction!
