I AM the Football Star

Chapter 200: Chapter 77: Escalating Situation, Standoff Among Factions

This area often has celebrity sightings, so naturally, there are many journalists and paparazzi.

In fact, even without this altercation, the news of Sofia and her young boyfriend meeting the top music producer Anna would be one of tomorrow’s trending topics.

But... after this fight, it won’t just be one of the trending topics; it will definitely be tomorrow’s headline news!

On the other side, the flashlights didn’t affect Lu Yang’s performance.

He grabbed the folding chair nearby and swung it directly at the oncoming music thug, knocking him down on the spot.

The longer it is, the stronger it is.

The attack range of the folding chair was much farther than that of the wine bottle being held.

But the music thug had some tough guys too; one pulled out a small knife from his waist and stabbed forward.

However, Lu Yang slightly adjusted the angle of the chair, trapping the opponent’s hand within it.

Then he performed a dazzling spin.

Crack!

Everyone heard a crisp sound.

Since the chair in Lu Yang’s hand was not damaged at all, so...

The scene was somewhat out of control for a moment.

Many filming journalists trembled slightly, their hearts shaking.

This isn’t a soccer player; this is clearly Bruce Lu!

The last remaining music thug immediately turned and ran towards the door.

He was scared out of his wits.

He wanted to go home to his mother.

Bang!

Lu Yang threw the folding chair in his hand, hitting the opponent’s leg perfectly.

The opponent’s legs went weak, and he crashed into the glass door.

Crash!

The glass door shattered, and glass shards scattered.

Until now, aside from the dispersed onlookers, only Lu Yang and Kubo were still standing in the center of the hall.

Lu Yang was still walking towards Kubo.

And Kubo’s legs had already started trembling.

”You’ve caused trouble, Flower Planter, you dare to hit a pure-blooded Italian in public...” Kubo’s face was pale.

Slap!

Before he could finish speaking, Lu Yang slapped him, making him stagger.

”I really like your nickname for me; no Flower Descendant can refuse the honor those three words bring! So I only used thirty percent of my strength for that slap!” Lu Yang said, ”Promise me, don’t harass Sofia, Anna, or any woman again, okay?”

”You dare hit me, do you know how many fans I have in Europe? Do you know how many super-rich parties I’ve been to? Do you know...”

Slap!

Another slap.

This slap was visibly a lot heavier.

It proved Lu Yang wasn’t lying earlier; considering the three words ’Flower Planter,’ he really held back.

Kubo’s face visibly swelled, and a trickle of blood appeared at the corner of his mouth.

”Answer my question, don’t harass any woman who’s not interested in you, okay? You’re a celebrity, sure, but before that, you’re a citizen. You should abide by the laws of this country.” Lu Yang finished speaking and raised his hand again, ”Answer me, don’t make me say it a fourth time! The Flower Planter does things twice, not thrice!”

”Okay, okay, okay, okay... I won’t harass Sofia again, nor any other lady...” Kubo cowered in the corner, hands covering his face, trembling like a chick.

”That’s right, we’re always friendly externally.” Lu Yang patted Kubo’s head, then turned and walked towards Sofia, ”Sorry for the cost, I think we’ll have to cover the damages here.”

Sofia looked worried: ”Money is never a problem... but what you did was dangerous; there were seven of them!”

Lu Yang laughed: ”If I could, I’d take on ten.”

Sofia rushed over angrily and patted Lu Yang’s chest: ”Do you think you’re funny? What if something happened to you?”

Lu Yang said: ”Don’t worry, even if there were seven Guo Da Stansens, I’d try to turn them into Huluwas.”

Sofia didn’t understand Lu Yang’s poor Chinese humor, she embraced Lu Yang tightly, her eyes red, but her heart full of happiness.

Because Lu Yang’s risk was for her!

A few minutes later, the three of them left.

Before leaving, Sofia left her agent’s contact information with the owner, expressing her willingness to temporarily cover all the costs incurred to the owner today.

However, she also believed that the main responsibility lay with Kubo and hoped the owner might pursue rightful compensation from him, including various loss-of-work fees.

Finally, she took today’s surveillance footage to prevent being wrongfully accused later.

The owner smiled broadly, nodding frequently, very willing to cooperate.

Since he ran a business here, he frequently dealt with paparazzi.

There was surveillance in the store, and Kubo’s instigation was recorded. They outnumbered them and initiated the attack.

Claiming Lu Yang acted in self-defense isn’t an exaggeration.

This money, Kubo is sure to pay.

In fact, the owner could extort even more money from Kubo, like loss-of-work fees, emotional distress, surveillance, and other costs.

...

The next day, unsurprisingly, the entertainment headlines were very consistent.

”Soccer Pro vs. Music Star: The Sports and Music Event of the Year!”

”Sofia has good taste; her young boyfriend’s fighting skills are impressive, taking down seven in succession!”

”Provocation fails, gets beaten instead; Kubo brings shame to Italian men!”

”Flower Planter on an Empty Stomach! Lu Yang takes on one, two... seven with ease, no wonder he’s unstoppable on the field!”

”Breaking! Lu Yang and Kubo vie over romance, exchange blows, Lu Yang emerges victorious!”

”Kubo and Sofia incident follow-up! Kubo surrenders, scared so much he wet his pants!”
