I AM the Football Star

Chapter 172: Chapter 67: San Remo’s Collapse!

”Wow! What a feast!”

After putting down Sofia, Lu Yang was immediately captivated by the delicious dishes on the dining table.

Braised pork, Beijing roast duck, salted duck soup, could Sofia really be a European superstar?

Was she perhaps secretly an oriental chef?

In this day and age, you can’t even order takeout like this if you wanted to.

Sofia followed behind Lu Yang, feeling somewhat helpless.

She had just made such a bold move, wrapping her legs around Lu Yang’s waist.

Yet, any man would find it impossible to resist.

But Lu Yang still managed to put her down.

This... sometimes being too good at cooking seemingly isn’t a good thing after all.

The candlelight on the dining table was so charming, the whole room felt quite romantic.

Such a dreamy scene didn’t move Lu Yang, but instead, the dishes on the table caught his attention.

This straight man made of steel was really hopeless.

”So, how is it? Okay, right? While filming with the crew, I specially learned to cook a lot of Chinese dishes. I haven’t mastered many yet, but in the future, I’ll get better and better...”

Sofia’s words weren’t finished.

Because the excited Lu Yang had already turned around, hugged her, and gave her a big kiss on the face.

In an instant, both were frozen on the spot.

”I...” Lu Yang was at a loss for words for a moment, not knowing how to explain, ”Sorry, I was just too... too excited, so...”

And Sofia, contrary to her usually sexy and bold self, blushed and involuntarily buried her head.

She swore, she wasn’t supposed to be this kind of character.

For a long time, Sofia had appeared as a goddess figure, she hadn’t felt this ”embarrassed” in a long time.

Unexpectedly, there was someone in this world who could make her shy.

At this moment, Sofia understood what it meant for a heart to flutter and for a deer to run wildly.

The love she hadn’t encountered at seventeen or eighteen, she finally met it now.

Logically, Sofia should seize the opportunity and proceed directly to pressing Lu Yang down.

At this point, there was about a ninety-five percent chance of making Lu Yang lose his mind and achieve a forceful conquest.

But...

Sofia cried!

Her eyes reddened, and tears streamed down uncontrollably; even she didn’t know why this was happening.

In her heart, she frantically told herself: Sofia, rush over, after tonight, you’ll be Lu Yang’s woman.

But she couldn’t do it.

She was even hardly able to move.

The kiss Lu Yang had left on her cheek felt like an electric current, making her body feel numb.

Sofia was absolutely certain that this was the feeling of true love.

”What’s wrong, Sofia? Sorry, I really didn’t mean it...” Lu Yang apologized while handing a tissue to Sofia.

Sofia took the tissue, wiped her tears, and shook her head saying, ”It’s okay, I’m not blaming you, I was just... really moved. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt such a hug and kiss.”

”The last person to do this to me was my grandma, who spoiled me ever since I was young, she was a...”

Sofia and Lu Yang sat at the table, eating and sharing stories from their pasts.

Although that night they didn’t have the close contact Sofia had planned.

But after tonight, their hearts were already in zero distance.

They had a soulful exchange.

Sometimes, this is even rarer than physical exchange.

...

The next day, when Lu Yang appeared on the training ground, dragging his tired body, Morici was already jealous to the extreme.

”So where did you guys ’exchange’ all night again?” Morici teased sarcastically, emphasizing the word ”exchange.”

”At the dining table. You wouldn’t believe it, we never had such a connection! I even feel like I’ve touched Sofia’s soul, it’s a brand new experience.” Lu Yang thought Morici was amazing, how did he know this?

However, Morici looked full of grievance: ”All you touched was her stomach, idiot!”

Lu Yang was full of question marks?

What does that mean?

How did it suddenly go straight to the stomach?

Fortunately, Sotu interrupted their conversation.

Otherwise, Lu Yang would definitely have a heated discussion with Morici on the topic of ”stomach.”

”After two more games, we’ll know who our opponent is in our second match in the Italian Cup,” Sotu began, ”I believe many people still don’t know our goal this season.”

”So now I’ll tell everyone, this season San Remo not only has to push hard in the league, but I don’t want to exit the Italian Cup early either. Our goal is to reach the fifth round!”

Most players were surprised at this statement.

An Italian Third Division team reaching the fifth round of the Italian Cup... has it ever happened?

Does Coach Sotu really have such ambition this season?

Only Lu Yang was secretly laughing to the side.

You guys think the coach’s aspirations are only for the fifth round?

You’ve all been fooled!

The coach is afraid you’ll be scared out of your wits, so he hasn’t told you that our real goal this season is actually the Italian Cup championship!

Cough, cough!

Sotu seemed to choke on his saliva, coughing for a long time, almost losing half his life.

He frowned, damn it, who the hell is damaging my reputation and ruining my karma behind my back?

Two days later.

The eighth round of the Italian Third Division kicked off.

San Remo played against the strong team Imolese.

Imolese was known as a strong team because they had a star right winger, Becher’s.

His personal skills were touted as unmatched in the Italian Third Division, and his speed was also very fast, almost a perfect attacking player.
