I AM the Football Star

Chapter 164: Chapter 63: Sofia Scandal Incident!

”Secondly, the position of this photo is quite unusual. It’s not a spot that can be casually snapped. It’s too high, does this mean the photographer was standing on a chair to take it?”

”No, how would Sofia not notice that? This can only mean that a hidden camera was placed in a special position. And being able to set up such a device in advance in the store, targeting exactly Sofia and Kubo’s seat, I can only say this is probably not a coincidence.”

As Lu Yang said this, many journalists familiar with the entertainment section turned their heads.

They roughly understood what Lu Yang intended to express, especially since Lu Yang’s points were logical and substantiated.

Considering Kubo’s previously poor reputation, often getting involved in scandals with actresses, this news was likely deliberately orchestrated by Kubo.

Anyone who has experienced a campus romance knows that, amidst everyone’s teasing, it’s quite easy for two people to come together.

Many celebrities also use such tactics to pursue their targets, having better conditions to create this kind of public opinion. Or, more simply, they just want to draw some attention.

The Republican Newspaper reporter was not easily deterred, questioning, ”So are you saying Kubo did this? Is that it? Can you take responsibility for your words?”

Lu Yang laughed, ”Just like how the Italian Republican Newspaper never takes responsibility for their words or actions, I, of course, won’t be responsible for what I just said, I just proposed a possibility. Moreover... it was you who suspected Kubo, I didn’t say anything.”

”Right, let me give you an exclusive piece of news, that before this meeting, Sofia messaged me about it. She went to discuss her film’s theme song with Kubo, and Kubo wanted this opportunity, as he’s lacked a high-profile new song for quite a while.”

”But in the end, Kubo’s song didn’t meet our expectations, so Sofia’s contact with Kubo was just that, nothing more. I hope there won’t be any further speculation.”

”Additionally, this is our football match, I hope everyone can refocus on the game. Since you’re all here, is it unreasonable to do your job?”

With Lu Yang’s words, many reporters prepared to leave found it inconvenient to do so.

Indeed, since they were there, they might as well watch.

As a result, the number of journalists at this match reached the highest ever for Gubbio’s team.

It was almost comparable to national coverage.

Most reporters were very satisfied with Lu Yang’s speech.

It had substance, thought, and even some exposés.

For instance, Lu Yang’s reasoning was very convincing.

His language left no room for error.

And Lu Yang’s statement, ”the song didn’t meet our expectations,” suggested that he unexpectedly also had decision-making power over the film’s theme song?

Why?

Does Sofia trust Lu Yang that much?

Is their relationship that close?

Also, why would Sofia share her whereabouts with Lu Yang?

Isn’t this something only couples in a budding relationship do?

This interview offered plenty to dig into.

This is why most journalists wanted to maintain a good relationship with Lu Yang and sat down to watch the match.

However, the reporter from the Republican Newspaper didn’t stay, nor had the face to stay.

Lu Yang openly expressed his dislike for him and the Republican Newspaper.

This could become a turning point in Lu Yang’s career.

After all, the Republican Newspaper is known for its contentiousness, often referred to as the Italian Sun.

This time Lu Yang stood up to them; it’s unclear what kind of criticism he’ll face in the future.

At the very least, if they lost the match, the Republican Newspaper would certainly ridicule Lu Yang relentlessly.

But it must be said, many people praised Lu Yang’s wisdom and courage in front of the media.

At least, this toughest man in Italy didn’t disappoint Sofia’s expectations of him, and he did not hesitate to face off against the Republican Newspaper for Sofia’s reputation, which is a rarity in both football and the entertainment industry in recent years.

He’s truly manly!
