I AM the Football Star

Chapter 158: Chapter 61: Milky Sunglasses, San Remo Left Corridor 1.0_3

”San Remo’s left flank has now apparently become Lu Yang’s corridor! His breakthroughs and scoring from this position are just too strong!”

”Currently, Lu Yang is difficult to defend on the wing. His dribbling breakthroughs and powerful shots from outside the penalty area are extremely threatening.”

”Unless Femana assigns two people to block Lu Yang’s surges, Lu Yang will always have a chance to create danger.”

The so-called prophecy couldn’t be more accurate.

Following the ”guidance” of the commentators, well actually under the analysis of Femana’s own coaching staff, in the second half of the match, Femana really assigned two people to block Lu Yang.

They chose to abandon Bai Zhami.

Because according to their statistics, they found that Bai Zhami’s cooperation with Lu Yang is actually one-way.

What does one-way mean?

It means that most of the threatening plays between the two are created by Lu Yang.

In fact, in Lu Yang’s goals from the last two matches, Bai Zhami did not directly participate.

Bai Zhami is just a sidekick!

He draws away the firepower, and then Lu Yang cuts inside to take a powerful shot. This simple method has already allowed Lu Yang to score three goals in two matches.

The cooperation between him and Lu Yang doesn’t really count as true cooperation.

The kind of cooperation between Lu Yang and Morici, where both can serve as the starting and ending points of the attack, is true cooperation.

False cooperation also has its effects, but it’s easier to suppress.

So soon, everyone found that San Remo’s left-wing attack was indeed not as sharp as in the first half.

Lu Yang could no longer score those commanding goals.

Even if he could explosively get past one person, it was difficult to get past the second one.

And Lu Yang’s role as left-back meant that he couldn’t attack and try infinitely like a true winger.

Because once Lu Yang’s shot is blocked, the opponent has a chance for a counterattack, which was too dangerous.

So for a time, Lu Yang paused the ”winger” mode, and San Remo’s Left Corridor 1.0 hadn’t fully blossomed before Femana cut it off, which was truly a bit heartbreaking.

Lu Yang started becoming a diligent left-back.

Both sides’ attacks fell silent again.

Seventy-fifth minute of the match.

After Bai Zhami’s shot was once again meaninglessly blocked, Lu Yang approached Bai Zhami.

Why does the whole team find it difficult to play with Bai Zhami, but Lu Yang in combination with Bai Zhami isn’t entirely without cooperation?

Because Lu Yang accommodates Bai Zhami.

It’s undeniable that Lu Yang’s vision and advanced understanding of football enable him to have such capabilities.

And in all of San Remo, there’s actually another person who can also accommodate Bai Zhami to such an extent.

That person is...

”Later, when you pass the ball, frequently return it to Morici, especially after you penetrate to the end line,” Lu Yang told Bai Zhami.

”But I’m too far from his position,” Bai Zhami didn’t understand.

When Bai Zhami reaches the end line, he’s near the area, while Morici often stays in midfield and rarely enters the attacking third.

”Pass to him when you can see him. Otherwise, just go for it yourself!” Lu Yang advised Bai Zhami.

The reason for not letting Bai Zhami pass to himself was because Lu Yang was already facing a double-team. Even if the ball reached him, it wouldn’t be of much use, and Bai Zhami’s passing ability might not even get it through.

After saying this, Lu Yang gave Morici a subtle signal.

The signal was for Morici to look for opportunities to advance.

At the same time, Lu Yang indicated to Latu Yidi to stay completely at the back.

San Remo’s final effort—when the treasures are revealed.

But Femana was the first to draw their sword!
