Global Game: I Have Portable Store

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Discount Store

Su Changxing didn’t know if the zombies were killing humans from the same world as him, but he knew that today, only one of them could survive between him and the zombie.

The hole at the door wasn’t very big; the zombie had to bend over to get in.

Su Changxing held both hands in a baseball batting stance, and the moment the zombie poked its head through, he swung with full force, the steel rod striking the zombie’s head from a distance.

”It’s really solid, but I can barely handle it.”

The zombie was knocked back by Su Changxing’s powerful blow, its movements were not fast, possibly slower than an ordinary person, and Su Changxing could easily seize the moment when it peeked in to hit it.

Su Changxing’s hands holding the steel rod were a bit numb; he had swung too hard just now, almost causing the rod to slip from his grasp.

A few seconds later, the zombie poked its head through the big hole again; the previous strike didn’t do much damage.

Su Changxing sprang into action, imitating the movements of a baseball player, hitting the zombie’s head again, knocking it back out.

He didn’t have experience fighting people, but he often watched baseball games and thought there should be some crossover between the two.

This strike used less power than the previous one, but because he used force techniques, the power was not much less.

Outside the door came the painful howl of the zombie.

The zombie seemed to be enraged, suddenly thrusting its head in again, but it was still knocked back out by a blow from Su Changxing, with black blood flowing from its head.

Su Changxing noticed that the zombie essentially had no intelligence, only continuously repeating one way to get inside.

Poke its head in; one strike.

Poke its head in; one strike.

······

After repeating this eight times, a tremor was heard from outside, and the zombie finally fell to the ground.

[Killed the zombie, gained 10 Points]

[Completed the side mission, killed the zombie, 100 Points]

”Clang~”

The steel rod was thrown to the ground.

Su Changxing leaned against the wall, gasping for air; the eight swings had exhausted him.

The wooden door was completely broken by the zombie, and one more zombie could walk right in.

Su Changxing managed to kill the zombie purely by luck; if faced head-on, he would not have been a match for this zombie.

His clothes were covered in the blood that the zombie sprayed, forcibly smashing the zombie to death with strike after strike, the scene was incredibly bloody.

After resting for a while to calm down, though the place was filled with the unbearable stench of blood and rot, he didn’t leave the room, as it was the safest place for him.

In this building, there might be countless other zombies, and if he attracted another one, he would have nowhere to cry.

Being cautious is the key to survival.

Su Changxing held the steel rod in his arms, took out his phone again, and browsed the discount shop, which had a lot of items.

[Food: One-liter bottled water (quantity ten), half-price, 1 Point

Bread (quantity ten), half-price, 1 Point]

[Weapons: Steel rod (quantity four), half-price, 10 Points

Steel Saber (quantity five), 40% off, 30 Points]

The Steel Saber is clearly a better weapon than the steel rod, with a much higher price.

There’s also a special item here.

[Physical Enhancement Potion (rare), 90% off, 500 Points]

[Physical Enhancement Potion: A product of future technology, greatly enhances human abilities, perhaps the gap between you and a superhuman is just one potion.]

This item originally costs 5000 Points! It’s extremely expensive compared to other items, and the word ”rare” is specifically marked, making it different from the other items.

Su Changxing had a strong premonition that this item could change his physical condition, at least bringing his body to an ordinary person’s standard.

If he had normal combat ability, Su Changxing was confident that he could have killed that zombie with just three strikes.

Thinking of this, Su Changxing became more certain of the decision to exchange for this item, then noticed a line showing the time at the bottom left corner of the shop: Refresh time, 47:24.

It refreshes every two days, and the Physical Enhancement Potion might disappear after the refresh.

He needed to gather 500 Points within two days, and he currently had 110 Points, still 390 Points short, equivalent to killing 39 zombies.

Su Changxing pondered for a while, opened the forum, and looked at the situation of other humans.

Wang Lun Susu: I’m now in a sealed basement, all zombies above, maybe they’ll leave tomorrow, is there anyone kind enough to give me some water? I can trade biscuits.

Macho Man: Guys, who has a handy weapon? I can trade water and food for it, as long as I have a weapon, I can take down these beasts.

sos: Someone please save me, I’m really scared, if anyone can come to rescue me, I’ll be theirs.

Below is a photo of a crying girl with a pearly face, full of fear, looking quite decent.

To save lives, such things are not uncommon, but there weren’t many people replying to her, after all, everyone now faces life-threatening danger, no one can care about anyone else.

······

Seeing these posts, Su Changxing began to feel feverish, he was sure these people didn’t have a discount shop.

Because completing the novice task gives ten Points, and water and bread in the shop only cost one Point each, while cheap weapons cost ten Points, they had no need to seek help on the forum.

And it seems that resource exchange can be done through the phone forum.

Thinking of this, Su Changxing’s mind started to become lively, though it’s possible to gain Points through tasks and killing zombies, it’s not necessary to do it that way, he can use a much easier method.

Su Changxing browsed some posts, a large number of people were trapped in places like him, lacking weapons.

With a weapon, ordinary people have a chance to kill a zombie, and those with already strong combat ability would also need a handy weapon.

So, weapons are the most scarce resource at this stage.

Su Changxing immediately registered an ID called Lucky Child on the forum and tentatively posted a message.

Lucky Child: A solid steel rod for 100 Points, first come first served, won’t wait, I’ve already used a steel rod to kill a zombie.

[Picture]

Below is a picture of a bloody steel rod.

Su Changxing thought the price of 100 Points was very reasonable; once a zombie-killing mission was completed, they would have 110 Points, and now few people should truly realize the importance of Points.

The post was replied to quickly.

I use both hands to fulfill your dream: It’s amazing you already killed a zombie, I’m still shivering in the corner.

Miss you to death: I have ten Points, hoping to add some food to trade for the steel rod. A zombie is already wandering around me, please exchange with me, boss.

Zombie Nemesis: Everyone is the same, don’t pretend to be pitiful. I have fifty Points, hoping to add some food to trade for the steel rod. A zombie is already wandering around me, please exchange with me, boss.
